I never suggested or intended to suggest that you seriously asked members to PM mod about disagreements with other members. please accept my sincere apology if my post in any way indicated such WIT. You are a very valued member of cerb and I am sure I can speak on behalf of many that your undisputed invaluable contributions to cerb are very appreciated, not to mention that you are a great writer. I always immensely enjoy reading your very informative posts and updates and again I am very sorry if I indicated any differently. It has been a horrible week at work (short weeks are as we have to do a week's work in 4 days but no excuse...) and my mind is not at maximum efficiency. You are one of few members that I always run out of rep points lol :-). I need to have a few dates this weekend to cool off my mind lol :-). My apology again WIT.

That is a great suggestion NotchJohnson however, though I don't wish to speak on behalf of mod but I think that most likely mod would remove the picture or the post reported rather than the entire thread (unless many pictures are posted without permission which I very much doubt it lol).

Yes the ha ha at the end indicate humour lol, but the post did suggest to PM mod each time and given as free advice for the second side (or I have to go back to high school lol :-)). And yes on the first part of your post (which I agreed) you did encourage members to refrain from PMing mod (for the first side).

On first point I agree with you, to PM the member asking s/he to remove the picture (and only mod if the member refused). On second point, the advice is free however not sure I can agree that it is the best advice to encourage the behaviour. That everytime someone or some people who may not agree with a thread, a topic (especially in case of the best of threads when they seem to be so popular with at least some members) to continously PM mod to complain and make mod so tired that he decide to ban the (likely popular) threads altogether out of annoyance!!!!.... I am not sure if you meant it as a humour or said it out of frustration lol. We did reach an agreement last year (as Scott have been saying) on the best of threads issue.

I quoted WIT (I did NOT respond to any lady's comment as you incorrectly said in your earlier post) debating the word "Private" not commenting about anyone else's albums being private or public. I didn't realize that WIT meant the one single album being private but rather I thought he was referring to all albums on cerb being private. My apology to WIT for misunderstanding. In my recommendations I comment on ladies' personalities, attitudes and friendliness (and hygiene) as very important factors and I always regard and comment about GFE as the emotional aspects of encounter rather than services and as I said i have never posted any pictures in any best of threads either but to clarify that personality is very important and more so than looks but in all honesty looks are important too just not as much as personalities and attitudes (to me) but in no way it means (or I mean to say) that looks are not important.

I was not aware of private albums on cerb!!!!!! In those (likely rare) cases then it is a private album and based on my understanding of your post no one on cerb can access the album and post the picture somewhere else unless he or she is authorized by the lady to access and view it. If the gent or lady wishes to re-post the picture then s/he must acquire permission from the lady in the picture (otherwise it is a clear case of breach of trust) and that is what I said in my post....

We seem to have different views on what the word "Private" means. My album in my dresser or closet inside my locked apartment is private yes but if I post my picture anywhere on a board where all board members can access and view it, It becomes "Public". Yes still private within the board and to ALL board members only (not the whole world), but otherwise within the board it is public. As I have said I still believe if those album pictures (posted by the ladies themselves for members' view) are to be posted somewhere else on the board, still permission is needed from the lady in the picture and based on what I have read, since last year when we all agreed upon this procedure, permission has been requested prior to posting the pictures. so, I am confused about the protest posts really!!!!. Have there been pictures posted without permission since last year's agreement?.

Can you WIT or anyone please elaborate what would happen if and when the Supreme court of Canada rules in favor of sex workers? 1 - The Federal government would sit idle and do nothing about it and let municipalies decide or legalize it. 2 - Would go ahead and pass laws to legalize prostitution in Canada 3 - Would pass laws to pass tough anti-prostitution laws in Canada 4 - would push through parliament, the Nordic model in Canada 5 - Other My gut feeling (and I hope I am wrong) is either 3 or 4!!!.

Gentleman11, I thought for long and hard whether to post anything as I believe this is your personal decision. At the end I decided to post briefly. Mod is fair and neutral and there are certain rules he has to enforce. That is his job. For cerb to remain what it is, that is a civil respectful friendly society with large number of members and a variety of views and ideas to coexist, he has to remain fair and neutral and enforce those rules strickly. In doing so, sometimes he may become unpopular with some members but that is the price that he gladly pays. You will never find another board so civil and caring. I quit terb 1.5 years ago because the mods there were not in my view enforcing the rules. I found that board distasteful. I was hurt to read hurtful reviews against some ladies who were trying to make a living in these difficult times (remember I said hurtful reviews on terb and plenty not fair reviews or even negative reviews) and personal attacks and pimp-like lies and attacks by certain agencies and members on other members. I am sure that I speak for the majority to say that WE DO NOT WISH TO SEE CERB LIKE THAT. And we accept the rules and do our best to obey by them and if we break them we will be suspended or even banned as we have seen recently very popular members have been suspended. It is a fair board and rules applies equally to everyone. I have been suspended too and on one occasion I was exactly where you are now. I emailed mod asking him to remove my handle from cerb. In his fairness and integrity he did not do that. He suspended me for two weeks and told me if after two weeks I still wanted out he will grant my wish. In those two weeks my mind cooled off and I realize what I said above that he was right to suspend me and he is doing his job (and he is doing a great job in my view) to keep cerb the place that it is now. A very friendly family like, caring, respectful civil society. I hope you reconsider your decision. Ask mod for a couple of weeks to think about it instead of making a rush decision but the decision is entirely yours and if my comments in any way offends you, I apologize in advance. I can fully understand if you have an SO, a callback is NOT at all welcomed. In my case I am planning to see her soon (I love tall brunettes) and a call back is not a deal with me (in fact I receive calls from ladies all the time). If this is her only fault that is okay but if there are others that I should know please PM me before I arrange a date with her.

Thanks for the comments goose2ca and mistert. When I was in Europe I was underage so I don't know but you may be correct. So the reason is to stop illegal activities? Why not checking in on occassions by a someone rather than someone constantly sitting there with paper towel. Yes humour is nice and it is nice of you to look at it so positively but the fact remains that this thread has been clearly hijacked as this thread was about ladies's bums not monkeys and bears!!!!. Decided to head to Pigale this evening (first time out nighttime lol as I am usually daytime person). Started great with a hot brunette on the stage. I sat next to stage since I wanted to watch the ladies first and have dances later but this strategy did not work as I was approached God knows how many times and funny thing is that only I was being approached lol not others also sitting next to stage!!!!!!. The other strange thing that I was mainly approached by blondes and I was deeply in brunette mood tonight. Eventually a very cute brunette by the name of Sarah approached me so I take her to CR. I agree too with what you say. Status quo is just fine and is the best comprise law that we could have. In those countries where prostitution has become legal human trafficking is thriving as criminals choose easy targets and avoid those places with tough laws. Most of the prostitutes in those countries are foreign workers. Not tomention the large number of very unsafe red light districts. I do not wish to see a Canada like this myself. It is not my imagination. It is a real probability and anyone who tries to deny this likely scenario is closing his or her eyes and lives in an imaginary world. Denying this scenario or lessening its probability (what you called doomsday scenario) is not going to do anyone any good or help to prevent its implementation. Telling it outright as is on the other hand may help to convince sex workers, in particular escorts to drop it or drop their support for it before it is too late as the end result (government imposing the Swedish model) will mean a significantly less safe working environment for everyone and not just for street walkers. Bacause by making it illegal, they push the trade underground even further and also a big portion of safe hobbyists would stop hobbying (likely only the unsafe ones would continue as they don't care about breaking what would be a criminal law).

I thought I read somewhere that pimping law has been challenged too, but yes if it clearly re-defines so that to target pimps only, I have no problem with that (I still have problems with the challenge of public solicitation law). However, my point from the beginning has been that the timing for court challenge is not right and that if the supreme court votes in favor of sexworkers and strikes down the existing prostitution laws, it won't be long before this very right wing conservative government to use its majority to push through very strong anti-prostitution laws which may include the Swedish model where prostitution is totally illegal and hobbyists (even for outcall dates) may be subjected to six months in jail and disgraced in public. CAN ANYONE GUARANTEE THAT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN???

Yes and I saying that anti-pimping laws must continue to exist (showing my opposition to the court challenge as I have been doing so) and more importantly they should be enforced.

Anyone who lives wholly or in part on the avails of prostitution of another person extends to pimps too, does it not??. Pimping may not necessarily involve any of above (for example it could be just psychological intimidation or psychological exploitation), though I agree that if it involves physical violence the punishment must be much harsher and I don't mean just a few years in jail. when violence against the defenceless is involved the punisment must fit the crime.

People may still do stuff but would be far less numberwise and far less frequent if we have harsh laws against what they do but more importantly if they are properly enforced (they will think twice and those who do will will in prison lol......). Drunk driving is a good example of that. The number of drunk drivers has come down significantly since harsh laws were passed and more importantly after they were enforced. That is why we need some kind of prostitution laws in Canada that would extend to pimps (not body guards, drivers or family, friends) and public solicitation laws as well. I am not sure what you mean by social initiative but if you mean education I don't believe those ruthless heartless pimps can be educated. They know what they do is evil (no need to tell them lol) they just don't care period. We need a punishment that fits the crime and that is called justice.

That is why we need very harsh enforced anti-pimping laws to combat this kind of slavery of the weak. Throw away the keys on these animals. When I call for someone on the internet how do I know if she is doing it out of her own will or if she is forced by a ruthless pimp? when we have modest laws against pimping and even those laws are not enforced :icon_frown:.
