This way I don't have to worry about how they are being treated by agencies, how much of their donation they have to give away, if they provide the services willingly or not, and many other things. Also indies likely provide better services because they wish to retain good clients as some of those working for agencies may not have this incentive. I have had two no shows in my entire three years of hobbying and in both cases it was agencies. Indies are also safer and more discrete to have them in my private home (I am outcall only). I don't wish to discuss this one in any details lol!!!. I do call for agencies when I don't have enough time to hunt for indies.It is an advantage to find a quick date as someone is always available with short notice. Also I call a particular oriental agency as they have ladies of my type (natural). Cheers.

I guess what I was asking was if in other countries for which the term bail out was used, billions of dollars were just given as handouts (without any expectations of being paid back at any time) rather than loans to be repaid over a specified period of years.

So, in other countries billions of dollars were just handed out unconditionally without any return guarantees? May be I should open up business in those countries lol.....

Personal income taxes were cut significantly in late 90's and early 21 century (Paul Martin introduced those fairly huge personal tax cuts in 1998 to take affect gradually over several years) and because of the economic growth, some provincial governments (especially in Ontario) were in a position to cut taxes too (quite substantially I may add) during that period. Interest rates during those years were HIGHER than what they are now, so I don't think that low interest rate alone though a factor being mainly responsible for growth in late 90's and first 6 years of 21 century. Infrastructure spending creates specific jobs (construction) and spin off jobs (other industries) true but not as much as stimulating consumer spending (spread evenly over all industries) by tax cuts and low interest rate and resulting job growth which increases consumer confidence RESPONSIBLE FOR 2/3 OF the entire GDP. Especially wrong to spend on borrowed money. Paul Martin created the environment for the good economy to roll on for years by addressing the deficit head on (something that conservatives failed miserably), therefore bank of Canada was able to lower interest rate, and raising consumer confidence (by cutting personal taxes and lower rates) created spending and jobs and hence the longest and most solid economic growth between 1998 to 2006.

Then I guess, here in Canada, when Tories were in Power, we didn't hand out multi-billion dollar bail out packages (bailing out GM (4 billion dollars) and Banks (many billions of dollars). It was just a passing bad dream lol. Additional Comments: Tories adopted what traditionally is a liberal/NDP strategy to spend their way out of the recession and again thanks to Paul Martin (the LIBERAL finance minister and PM) who produced a surplus, they were in the position to do so without completely bankcrupting the country (though created a 56 billion dollar deficit which means many painful years ahead. Putting money in the pockets of consumers will enhance consumer spending where two-third of Canada's Gross Domestic Product is coming from. It is the best way (economically feasible) and humane way of stimulating growth. The infrastructure program spending doesn't produce as many jobs. That was why we lost so many jobs in 2009. Deficit reduction doesn't produce jobs either but could possibly enhance business investment (no guarantees) and likely stronger dollar and lower interest rates but interest rates can't go any lower lol!!. Canada enjoyed the best economic growth when Paul Martin was around and that was because he cut consumer taxes and put more money in the hands of consumers, stimulating growth and hence lower deficit and eventually multiple years of surplus!!. I may not agree with everything that liberals stand for but for myself like many others it is the less of two evils and conservatives are by far a winner in this evil game. Just see the way they campaign lol. The Prime Minister of Canada (Harper) is acting like the dictators in the banana republics around the world lol. Not to mention all the scandals and deceives and cover ups they have been responsible for. Do we want a Canada like that. My answer is NO. This is NOT my vision of Canada.

Corporate tax cuts by conservatives has cost our treasury many billions of dollars every year since 2006 and there are more tax cuts for the corporations to come next year if these heartless tories win, especially if they win a majority. Private sector has not created jobs it was anticipated to create. This huge money can be best used to help out our seniors, our students, our health service and that is what Michael Ignatieff has promised to do. He wants to roll back corporate taxes to 2010 levels (and still it will remain one of the lowest among G8 countries) and use the 9 billion money to take care of needy Canadians as well reduce deficit faster. Less fighter jets and more money in the pockets of needy Canadians. Tax the rich and help the poor.That is my opinion.

I am not a lawyer either however I reviewed the prostitution laws in Canada and oversea extensively before deciding to hobby and WIT is correct. The current prostitution law is under Federal jurisdiction and it is only legal for clients if they receive the sex worker (outcalls). As far as agency, it would likely violate the Procurement law mentioned by WIT and if it offers incall services (i.e. booking a hotel room for the client to visit) it also likely violates the Bawdy house law. That said, in my view (and again I am not a lawyer) if an agency operates professionally, that is to represent the lady rather than rule over them and treat them right and be careful about public solicitation and lady's age, then it could be very low risk to run such agency, but still likely not legal anywhere in Canada as the law stands now.

As opposed to you, I am outcall only. I receive ladies at my home though, however, in summer months I receive a visitor which means sometimes I have to check into a hotel to take outcalls. Have no problem with bills as I am obviously single but I remember about 10 years ago when I moved to Ottawa I checked into a motel (plenty on the Gatineau side) near Pigale and I paid cash. I know a motel is not as good as a hotel to invite a lady for outcall, but I don't think there are many hotels that accept cash in Ottawa (if any). I thought I make a suggestion.

Yes you are right. May be she is back by popular demand?. At least her pictures are back with OSH!!!! and likely her too. Good for them (OSH). As I said every agency would be lucky to represent her (they must have read this part lol :-) ). Also, as I said in my OP there is a learning curve for the agency (OSH, and Katie too). I am glad everything is back to normal. Who knows, I may call them again:-)!!.

It depends on the agency. I agree that they are some agencies out there very legit and treating their ladies right and as agent to represent but I have come across few behaving also very pimp-wise. Treating badly their ladies, pressuring them to provide services they don't wish, or ripping them off their earnings, threatening their girls if they try to leave or even retaliating against the reviewer if reviewed negatively..... I see lots of girls as you know and sometimes they open up and talk about the agency they used to work with. Whenever I call an agency I always ask the visiting lady if she is treated well and fairly (because this is very important to me) and sometimes after a couple of visits, they open up too. But yes I do agree it may not be right to equate some agencies and pimps in this thread, but not all as the word is true for the other some.

I usually write up a second/third..... recommendations for the same lady if I have something new to say about her or our encounter/date, or have discovered something new about her or if I have had a better time than previous, for specific reasons.. On the shilling question, not sure.. My understanding of a shill post is that if the reviewer is somehow (financially or otherwise) profiting from the lady's promotion or if he is somehow associated with her (like a BF or p**p or agency or biased in her favor for any other reason. But for a unbiased hobbyist to give a lady multiple recommendations for rightful reasons, in my book, I do not consider that as shilling at all.

It may come as a surprise to those who may have badly mis-read or misunderstood my earlier comments but I totally agree with your comments above. SP's private lives is no one's business, least of all mine. No one should feel the need to discuss their private life or justify decisions they make in their lives. In fact I do strongly believe in the separation of work and social/private life (and if you have read my posts about the dreadful night in the strip bar 12 years ago, you realize that I was/am a victim of this (mixture of work and private life) myself when I had to quit a great teaching position in a university). All I was saying was that it is also my right to have a choice who not to see for any reason if I don't feel comfortable about it, again for any reason. The very important part of your comment is this part and I quote what you said- "provided it doesn't have any impact on me". Now seeing a married woman knowingly (SP or otherwise) does have an impact on me emotionally (likely the way I was raised, I feel guilty). So this justifies my choice.

My first post responded to the question in the thread (OP) and I was asked this question in another thread too. And my response to Megan was a general response not related to SPs but public at large. I made it crystal clear that if anyone wants to be in other relationships while married it is their choice and that if they are happy (SP or not) and their partner don't mind then good for them and not my business (but I stated also my right of choice not to see those in relationships) and I also made it clear that I will never impose my (likely conservative) views upon others. Now where did I say anywhere or even hinted that SP's lives are not their personal/private lives or not theirs alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I thought for long whether I should respond to this thread as I was concerned that my response may offend someone or two. But I was asked this question (in another thread) and I am sure I am expected to give my honest response, no matter how unpopular it may be. Speaking only for myself and those who know me I am a very safe and cautious hobbyist (outcall only for legal reasons, No BBB whatever for safety reasons, no cim, no greek, no GB, no ...... for personal/moral reasons .... no drugs, no alcohol (recent), going for emotional GFE rather than list of services, preference for hugging and kissing rather than sex, which may appear strange to many .... and in many cases my views are in minority (like strong preference for natural kitties, preference for younger SPs, preferences for pale skin, very tall ladies, blue eyes, inner beauties....), so very likely my views below, like above, are in small minority too, but they are mine :-), and since I was asked I am going to comment as honestly as I can..... To me the sanctity of marriage is too important to be broken. Regardless of whether it is with the full knowledge of the husband and his approval, a marriage is a marriage. In my view, people marry to commit to each other and to each other only. Married people belong to each other and I don't wish to borrow or rent someone else's love for a short time as I would know for sure that while she is with me, she will be thinking about her real love (her husband) not to mention that I do not wish to be the one breaking the sanctity of marriage. That is why the word adultery applies only to married people in relationship with a person other than spouse and to my knowledge the definition even extends to cases where the spouse is fully aware of it. Beside I don't know for sure how the husband may really feel in his heart about this. May be it is a situation that severe financial needs forces him to agree to it and his heart may be bleeding because of that (have you seen indecent proposal movie). If I am in a relationship I will not hobby or see anyone else and expect the same from my spouse or GF, otherwise I would be a total hypocrite if I am in a relationship and see other ladies and expect my wife or GF stays in a monogamous relationship with me. ps - This post reflect my personal views and may not be shared by many.

Still nobody there and today is Friday!!. I called their number today to see who will be available for tomorrow and I got a message that "the person I am calling is not available"!!!!. Very strange.I haven't called them in 3 weeks so I don't know for how long they have been closed!!. I hope they are still around!!!. They are the only Ottawa asian agency who to my knowledge don't practice B & S. I hope they haven't quit Ottawa. Additional Info: To all asian lovers/natural kitty lovers: candyland is still around in Ottawa and elsewhere. I just received a call from gent who is in charge of Ottawa branch of Candyland and the good news is that, the gent is on vacation for a couple of weeks. I agree and can relate to your sentiments OutForFun and even extend it further to say in my case, I don't feel right in seeing ladies in relationships, especially if married. But definitely will not see knowingly someone that you described in your post.
