My thought would be to go through yellow pages or even better Google search internet for "Ottawa Lawyers". It may be useful also to type in your problem to find lawyers experts in that area (criminal lawyer covers a lot but some are specific in certain areas. So type in your problem in the search like personal injury or wrongful dismissal....). Then the next step is to form a list and email those with a description of your problem. A certain percentage of lawyers (those with bigger hearts or more time to spare) will respond with legal advice. I have personal experience with this. I sent emails to 10 lawyers I found on the net about a legal issue I had some years ago and 3 responded with legal advice, free of charge. I know it may appear a long shot, but it worked for me and it won't cost you anything. Good luck.

I can see a list of people who are logged in right now (and they are many so that likely explains why it is fairly slow), but we also were able to see who is viewing what section or page (under each section or page). I still don't have that feature back.

My comments were of course about Ottawa SPs since this thread was posted in Ottawa section, I failed to clarify this point, my apology. It is quite understandable that SPs in small cerb communities may not have the chance to receive recommendations as their client based is very limited. I also think that less than 70% of hobbyists are from Ottawa and I expect that with recent developments it may soon change as with CL shut down, many SPs from all over Canada (and with them many hobbyists from all over Canada) will soon join the board in no time. I give recommendations to about half of the ladies that I see (I used to choose a large number of ladies from CL, before its closure last month) and those half that I do not recommend usually don't get recommendations from other members either. I usually received a number of PMs for any given recommendation from members asking for more details (not sure what percent of those inquiries actually results in action ), so yes recommendations definitely help the business for the lady. Recommendations also show the services provided and if I am looking for kissing or DFK and that is listed in the reco (the list in the top portion of every recommendation), though it can be ymmv, but it could mean there is a good chance that DFK may be on the menu (or at least it is not lady's restriction for all). On the other end if I wish to avoid someone who provides certain services, those are listed in the recommendations too. So, it helps in more ways than one and the help is mutual for the hobbyist as well as the SP. As for the OP's question, I suggest cerb-limited recommendation policy with the right to ask for edit within 48 hours of posting. My 2 cents.

Additional Comments: I have heard in rare cases when someone has the flu virus in his/her body already, the flu shot may push him/her over the edge and the person may come down with the flu. So, this may have been the reason for roamingguy to come down with a flu immediately after the shot. Also I believe 2 in every million (or 1 in 500,000) one may suddenly go into coma and develop paralysis (GBS). The benefits however, by far outweigh the risks. Many people actually DIE from flu each year (36000 deaths in the US and between 2000 to 8000 deaths in Canada EACH YEAR. That is approx. on average, 1 in every 10000 Canadian die from flu each year. Not a joke lol.), and though it is mostly elderly but it is NOT limited to elderly lol. Flu shots are about 70% to 80% effective in preventing the flu and has been and will be saving many lives and this is a fact and not a (conspiracy) theory.

To answer OP's question, to me personally recommendations are very important. In some cases I toftt and go where no man has gone before (calling for unknown SPs), and that is because I love variety but personally if I see a lady around for a while without a recommendation, I will not make that call. Cerb is great for reviews (in fact the use of word review is incorrect as they are none. They are recommendations as the board name stands for Canadian Escort Recommendation Board). Clients concentrate on positive aspects of the encounter and unlike the other -ERB board hurtful reviews are NOT allowed which in my view is a very good thing. I used to come down with flu 2 to 4 times a year, each lasting between 2 to as much as 5 days sometimes followed by coughing for days after for all my life. I started having flu shots about 7-8 years ago. Past 7-8 years, in some years I didn't get a flu at all and in a few years once or twice very mild flu lasting couple of days. Significant improvement since I started getting the shots. This year I got the flu shot in mid November (later than usual as I was busy with work) and I had a long horrible flu just before that.
