Likely true (though I meant looking not staring as that may be rude even at strip bars lol), but in my childhood I heard so much about how open minded and free the swedish society is and now this came as a total shock to me that laws like this are not in a backward middle eastern country but rather a (most) progressive European country. And worse they are now acting as a model for other socially progressive countries like Canada and likely may drag down others into a police state too where freedom of choice and lifestyle does not exist. What is next, the introduction of mandatory hejad in sweden lol!!!, Really!!!!.

Apparently there are still a few strip bars open in Sweden but but the strippers are not allowed to take off their bikinis lol:shock:. I wonder why should anyone pay to go to these strip bars when they can go to the beach and watch ladies in bikinis for free!!!. May be strip bars are for winter time!!!. What a backward country sweden has become. My impression of that country has changed completely over that past few weeks lol.

I am very much like you Jim, except that I like girls between 19 to 25 maximum and I have been like that for over 20 years (and likely I would remain so for another 20 years). I thought that this is a problem too but no it is not and in the attached thread a number of cerbites kindly commented that there is no problem and most are like me too. I have physical attraction to that age range and strangely enough I have also emotional compatibility to that age range too and not my own!!. One suggestion, if you would, keep your weight down (by combination of diet and exercise). Yes undercover police operation will become one problem and the con artists posing as prostitutes to empty your wallets is another. It will destroy lives and families and will make our land a police state comparable to most backward regimes in middle east. It will push many thousands of ladies into poverty and forced to live off social and welfare programs. Yes it has many benefits too (it will cut down on prostitution (both forced and voluntary), pimpimg and human trafficking) but the negative aspects of this law by far outweights the positive. And what will be the definition of selling sex. Some would consider even touching or kissing sexual act too. So will they shut down strip bars too? or stop contact dancing in SCs. So how all those many thousands of nude dancers are going to make ends meat. start collecting welfare? This is kind of failure on the part of the successive governments unable to address the problems associated with prostitution (human trafficking, force prostitution, pimping ..) in the past and therefore now their only solution to cut off the head entirely in order to get rid off the century old headache lol.

Well, if there are no buyers out there (if no demand) then why there are so many sellers (supply)?. You know, I am tired of some (religious) people trying to impose their moral standards and beliefs upon others. They think they are right no matter what because they represent God or whatever and have the right to do so!!!. I mean I do agree that something should be done to combat violence against sex workers, underage prostitution, pimps, human traffickers but six month jail sentence against those who see those escorts who willingly would like to have a date and likely have a good time too as much as their clients in a socially progressive country is totally unbelievable, unacceptable and I go as far as saying disgusting to completely ruin a citizen's life (six month jail, disgraced among family and friends and since it will be criminal, then losing prospects of job at present or future) for dating a consenting adult is both ridiculous and stupid and more so when it is in a socially progressive land. Btw, I googled "escort Sweden" and I came across so many escorts advertising in sweden. They likely pushed down the demand but doubt it they can eliminate it ever. Not even in those (backward) countries where prostitution is dealt with very harshly, it exits but since it is a serious crime, it exists in the dark sense (not voluntary and may be even not between consenting adults and drugs and violence often involves).

Thanks for the link Doc Odd. There are also many other links which would argue completely the opposite. It appears only logical that unreasonably harsh punishments (only justfied for the dark side of prostitution) when applied to voluntary prostitution (sex between consenting adults) would deter many (including myself and likely many others too) from hobbying and will push down the demand and so I for one tend to believe those statistics (or links) which indicate a significant decrease, but I am certainly not fanatic in my belief. In fact I hope that this full of flaws model will never even come close to our borders as I see it ridiculous for reasons I mentioned in my earlier posts.

Doc Odd, I am certainly not an advocate of Swedish model (making all form of buying sex illegal) but very supportive of effectively combating the dark sides of prostitution (underage prostitution, violence against sex workers, human trafficking,....) and I am neither a swedish citizen or have I ever been to sweden and my source of information is the material that I have read on the internet which almost all claim that the model has been effective to combat human trafficking in that country. I do not attach links as they are plenty related links out there (on swedish model of prostitution law). I quoted what I read on the net followed by my own view on the model with reasons as why I thought the law was full of flaws lol.

Then it would be a complete tragedy for the industry lol. The problem is that the law was introduced in a (likely most) socially advanced country in Europe and not in some banana republic in middle east and therefore hard to convince people that it is a backward law unless battle is shifted to the dark sides of prostitution (which I support) rather than banning buying of sex as a whole. Still, I can't imagine how they can enforce it for outcall escorts though. Unless they install a hidden camera in my house or employ undercover police officers (a complete police state of the worst kind), there is no way I can think of that they can enforce the would be law on outcall escorting. The fear of six month jail though is bad enough for me at least to stop even outcalls though lol. I anticipate the business would move to strip bars, unless they close them down too. I knew the blue will bring about backward changes lol.

The swedish model: makes it illegal to buy or attempt to buy sex either on the street or in a business such as a brothel or massage parlour. Not sure I understand above in full. Would it be only buying sex on the street and in a brothel or massage parlour which would become illegal or any form of buying sex like escorts would become illegal too?. If the latter, then yes it will significantly affect the industry adversely. However, if (assuming) the former, then current law says solicitation in public (street) is illegal already and so is running a brothel or massage parlour (if sex is offered). So I am confused what would be different if Swedish model is adopted in Canada (except that the actual buying of sex rather than solicitation would become illegal but in practice not much would change, unless the law extends to escorts too). The part on selling sex not being illegal makes me wonder how many con artists would pose as prostitutes to attract unwary customers to their place and demand for cash without services unless the clients hand over theirs wallets in full or they would call the cops on them lol as they are not the ones who are breaking the law in this case(and always hard to prove blackmail committed in court since they would not make credible witnessess). In spite of its critics, Swedish model has been reported to have combated human trafficking effectively as published statistics shows criminals seeking easy targets are shying away from that country (so they just displaced the problem to another country). In fact during its first years, prostitution reportedly diminished significanlty in sweden as in my view, likely no one in his right mind would risk a six month jail for sixty minutes of pleasure. In my view, it is fundamentally flawed though as it does not distinguish between voluntary and forced prostitution and also if it is based on equality of gendre (where sweden is so proud of) then why only one side of equation is being punished in this case. It has also driven prostitution into dark quiet dangerous street corners which means prostitutes and clients alike are being in much greater risk. The best strategy in my view would be to combat the dark aspects of prostitution like human trafficking, underage prostitution or forced prostitution more effectively rather than making the whole industry (buying of sex) illegal. The proper manner to address a headache is not to cut off the head lol but to find what is causing the pain and address the problem area effectively lol.

I think that the result would be very SP-specific. While for escorts services providers (likely a good majority of cerb SPs) the percent is likely very low, however, it is likely higher for masseuse service providers and would be much higher for nude dancer service providers (very few on cerb to respond to the poll). Very interesting thread though, OutForFun. I can't help wondering what would be the result if the same question was asked of hobbyists lol!!! (likely very very low as overwhelming majority of those frequenting SCs and MPs are not on cerb to respond to a similar poll).

No wonder I nicknamed her the cutie princess lol. Everything about her is so very cute even her very cute puppy and even her new apartment is so very cute:).
