I have not had the opportunity yet to indulge, but Montreal is a fun city to spend a weekend in. So much good food. I have heard good things about the ladies at Indycompanion and chatted with a few, so that would be my first choice if I were on Montreal and looking for some company. I know some of them visit here on occasion if you wanted to meet one before your trip.

I would suggest reading through the ads to find someone who's personality/demeanor appeal to you and then get in touch to see if they are free that evening. +1 for the indy mechanic, but do shop around\getreferences from people you trust. The first one i ever used (2 repairs) dismissively refused to do some preventative measures while doing some other work, which ended up costing me more $ 2-3 months later when the part i had asked to be replaced broke down. I got one for a friend years ago and they was thrilled to be able to change the air filter for the cost of the part and 10 minutes of their time vs the $60+ the dealership had been charging. There are plenty of things that can be done with a few simple tools and not a lot of mess. When buying, do not be afraid to visit multiple dealers of the same brand. The experience will vary between the dealers, and some are more flexible when it comes to negotiation.

This would have been my suggestion after the first time you had problems. You know you have sizing issues but the lady may not, so you can save some lost time/frustration by being proactive. When booking you can mention that you have had issues in the past and ask if she would like you to bring your own or if she will make sure to have some on hand. Not recommendations per se. ATasteofEve and Sugarland both advertise as having locations in the west. Sweet Emily J is a bit further east, near Algonquin. There are usually a few ads on BP indicating Bells Corners or Kanata locations. Not as many as last summer/fall though.

I think most are open to discussing them privately as long as you ask them in a polite and respectful fashion. If it is out of your price range you can simply thank them and say that you do not have that much saved up at this time.
