I completely support male4female sex workers, and while there is very little demand now, I really think over time this type of service will become more and more popular and acceptable. However, the same as female for male escorts, it's about a lot more than "stimulating their #* and getting them off". And much more so when servicing women. Here is a great article with some insight about being a male escort for women: http://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/the-business-of-pleasure-20140127-31hjs.html All things considered, it's a lot more difficult to be successful as a male escort for women. It's about more than just looks & penis size, however those DO matter, but standards for men are different for men in this industry, since it's no secret that that women often have some different needs and desires than men when it comes to intimacy. To just callously throw up an ad with a client escort forum account profile, without any sort of thought or planning, will not likely result in any positive result. It's a bit transparent too.

The government wants people's opinions - a fill in the blank survey
Sweet Emily J replied to CMJ's topic in In the news
Here are a couple good resources in regards to this government survey. They provide some background info, ideas and guidelines for folks to use to form their own unique responses to the survey. These helpful guidelines were prepared by sex workers and their allies from all across the country, and are designed to inspire you to create your own personal answers. Motion to legalize prostitution pulled from Liberal conveniton
Sweet Emily J replied to cyclo's topic in In the news
You may have read the article wrong. Don MacDonald is pro-decriminalization. And he is not in any sort of major position of political power. He is just a BC liberal delegate, likely a political activist, and he is somehow tied to the Young Liberals, who are a youth wing of the Liberal Party and a progressive political organization. They are pro-decriminalization and support sex-workers rights: http://ylc-jlc.liberal.ca/2013/12/16/protecting-rights-sex-trade-workers/. Don MacD is all good. :) The Young Liberals said they decided that they weren't ready to present the motion at the Liberal Convention, but it's probably pretty likely that instead, it was the mainstream mofos in the Liberal Party who said no. Too "controversial" for them. You should write Justin Trudeau instead of Don Macdonald. A few weeks ago he said "prostitution itself is a form of violence against women." :aggressif025: -

Chris Goodwin, manager of Vapor Central in Toronto, has sold more than $500 worth of Trudeau-stamped rolling papers in a little more than a day since they hit the shelves in his marijuana-smoking lounge. He says he got the idea from reading a story last week in the Toronto Star, featuring leaked Conservative plans to disrupt the Liberalsâ?? convention in Montreal this weekend. One of the â??gimmickyâ? tactics discussed by the Conservatives in the memo was a plan to ridicule Trudeauâ??s pro-legalization policies on marijuana by handing out Zig Zag brand rolling papers at the convention, embossed with Trudeauâ??s face. But one personâ??s attack ad can be another personâ??s entrepreneurial inspiration â?? not to mention a financial windfall. It's because she is using Wix, as a website building platform, and not actually hosting her own site. So it's all their rules, and Wix does not allow video uploading, only third party embedding. Summer, without getting too complicated, the easiest suggestion I have is Tumblr. It's free, and they are definitely adult friendly, but they do have a daily upload limit. I'm also not sure about embedding there, but you could create a nice little page there with your videos and link to it from your current site. There is some more info on this thread from last year: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=118559 As someone who previously had major issues with Blogger/Blogspot, I vehemently recommend against them.

The Sex Professionals of Canada has a public bad date client list here: http://www.spoc.ca/bad.html. And SPOC public "undesirables" list": http://www.spoc.ca/undesirable.html All providers are welcome to view those lists, and all providers can report a bad/undesirable date to SPOC, if they have something to share, and feel comfortable doing so. Providers can also report issues they have with CERB members directly to mod, and he can take action with the member's account if he deems it necessary. But if someone is really "dangerous", they should be reported to the police above and before anything else. Otherwise, I think it's obvious why we have private areas for trusted & vetted independent providers to share dicey info about lesser offences like no-shows, time-wasters, rudeness, bad hygiene, hagglers, bbfs requests, etc. It's sensitive information and public knowledge of it is potentially problematic on many levels. I do understand what you're saying, but there is so many things to take into consideration, and it's a delicate issue.

Peyton said women were advertised on the internet, as well as by word of mouth at hotels, motels and events surrounding the Gem and Mineral show. Approaching a lady about a "retainer"
Sweet Emily J replied to Wolf Knight's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I agree! It's all about it being "mutually beneficial". :) Haggling is just when one side gets more without giving anything back. In this agreement, both people come out winning. I really like this idea, and have entered into agreements like this before and they worked out quite well. I continue to welcome such arrangements that will make us both happy as provider and client. :) Ongoing relationships can lead to some very fun and intimate times. Every lady is entitled to operate however they please, but IMO, this in this line of work, this is a good way to do business, and hopefully she will not feel offended. I personally think the terms you mentioned are fair, but maybe she will have something else in mind. -
This is a really great article about male escorts, but I think it applies to escorts of all genders, as I could relate to a lot of what was discussed. :) The Business of Pleasure By Benjamin Law http://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/the-business-of-pleasure-20140127-31hjs.html
Some jobs you never see advertised. Since there was no actual evidence provided in this article, citations, or links to any actual research done, last week I e-mailed both the author of the piece in the Ottawa Sun, and the the anti-prostitution group who makes the "150 women forced in Ottawa" claim, to inquire about this apparent research. I have not received so such as an acknowledgement. I don't expect to. The group who made this claim, imPACT Ottawa, has posted on Backpage today. They linked to a survey asking clients basic questions about their involvement in the sex industry. I encourage all clients to take part in this anonymous survey, to have your voice heard. It's only a few questions. These are the sort of groups who are influencing any sort of future legislation. Take the survey:: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5H67FYX As well.. here is a response to that article from Frederique Chabot, of POWER Ottawa: http://www.ottawacitizen.com/touch/story.html?id=9488711

who do you think will win the superbowl?
Sweet Emily J replied to shymale's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Eli the orangutan picks the Seahawks. :) "SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah ape that has correctly picked the Super Bowl winner for six straight years is predicting the Seattle Seahawks will be the next NFL champion. Erica Hansen of Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City says Eli the ape ran into an enclosure Thursday and swiftly knocked down a papier-mache helmet bearing the Seahawks logo, signaling his pick. She says there was no hesitation. That could mean bad news for Broncos fans. The 13-year-old primate hasn't been wrong since 2006.." heheh :) -
Natural/Hairy women fetish
Sweet Emily J replied to imachi's topic in Ottawa Discussion - BDSM, Fetish etc.
I know there has been polls before on CERB about this, but I recently conducted another one on my blog about my readers' preferences on pubic hair. I've had a feeling for a while now that the "bare" trend is leaving us and that hair is becoming more and more popular with both men and women. I think that in general, as a society we are going back to more "natural" beauty and aesthetic practices. The results as it stands right now are that a combined 142 people voted that they either preferred some sort of hair (ranging from a patch to fully natural) or did not have a preference, and 100 preferred fully bare. Interesting! :) (I can't link it here due to CERB rules, but it's easy to find, if you want to check it out yourself, and vote too!). -
