Your Input is Appreciated Re: Hosting?
Brad replied to Lexy Grace's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
Another proud "darksider" here. :) Lived in Dartmouth much of my life and am happy to do so. It is funny how many people from across the harbour act like crossing the bridge is entering a different country. You can get to downtown Halifax from Dartmouth faster than you can many places within Halifax itself! And yes, there are good and less reputable streets on both sides of the bridge. But as others have said, I put much more stock into the reputation and communication of a lady than any worries about location. -

Miss Lacey Grey's posts and website--equal parts intelligence, confidence, and evocative sensuality--all drew me to her. After a bit of friendly chat back and forth we had our plan to spend some time together. And rarely has time gone by so quickly or enjoyably! At a location both clean and convenient, Lacey proved an imaginative and engaging companion who eagerly and skillfully ensured our time was memorable. Undeniably attractive and with an equally engaging wit, I would certainly welcome the opportunity to enjoy her company again.

CristyCurves and Christina4u both have pages in the recommendations section you can read. Athletic Blonde does as well, both under that name and as Sky.

Contoversy. Should PM rethink refugee promise?
Brad replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
If we wait until there is no suffering in Canada and we're all 100% happy then we'd never help anyone else. It's not an either/or option, in any event. It's similar to people saying we shouldn't fund science or the arts because that money could be spent on something else. Besides, humanity and morality aside, it's in our own interests to help the rest of the world and those at need. We don't live in isolation and chaos and suffering elsewhere will still affect us. Throughout our history people have been resistant to immigrants or those in need coming here for one concern or another, concerns that almost always turned out to be invalid. At one point we despised the Irish coming over. At another point we argued against taking in fleeing Jews. I don't want the next generation to look back at us and shake their heads at how we could callously ignore people in such desperate situations. The word terrorist has "terror" in it for a reason. They win by making you too scared to act humanely and rationally. I know I couldn't look any of these refugees in the eye--suffering in very real ways I can't even imagine--and turn them away because of some hypothetical fear that I'd be risking my own comfort and safety. There will always be dangers and risks--hell, I've a better chance of being shot by some young white man shooting up a school or a theater than a bombing!--we can't let that rule our humanity. -

Man gifts for Christmas ?
Brad replied to Studio 110 by Sophia's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My extended family decided that we'd give gifts to any children but that the rest of us would just enjoy time and meals together. I have to admit it's made things much less stressful for everyone and we actually enjoy the holidays more because of it. Yes, watching people open gifts is fun but it had started to seem an obligation and chore that outweighed the enjoyment (plus there's a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins in my family!). Getting together for a couple big meals with everyone, and watching the nieces and nephews go through their gifts has been the best of both worlds. But that said, if we are talking gifts... I'm also not insulted by gift cards when it's for a place I enjoy; still shows the person is thinking about my interests. There's also nothing wrong with baked goods. Make me a big meal, a plate of cookies, or just a giant brownie and I'm one happy guy. If you can think of something you can give that you would enjoy together, that's always extra nice too. Could be a board game, a day out, a tv series you think you'd both enjoy... Good luck! -

I had good fortune to spend some time with Lady Sophia during her recent trip to Halifax. Arranging the rendezvous was straightforward and friendly, and from the moment I arrived to a smile and warm greeting I knew that this was going to be a good day! Sophia is easy to talk with, even better looking in person than her already enticing photos would lead you to expect, and undeniably talented and eager to please. She has great instincts for her work and offers many small but professional touches make time with her feel like a true date and ensures a happy memory. Hopefully Halifax continues to treat her well and is lucky enough to see many return visits.

Should marijuana be legalized and regulated?
Brad replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm not a user of it myself, but I'm all for legalizing it. All the evidence certainly points that it's no more--and likely less--damaging them tobacco or alcohol. I don't have much new to add but agree it's going to be used regardless and it makes a lot more sense for it to be somewhat controlled and the tax dollars going towards useful measures rather than funneling the money to crime. Whatever you think of the government's ability to handle it, I don't think people realize how much $$$ ends up in organized crime from having it illegal. Most of the stories I've read out of Colorado and other areas that have tried it seem positive.
