I think if we are honest there has to be some attraction before we start to look beyond the physical. Unless you are in a position to spend time with someone (say a friend of a friend) how would you get to discover these deeper qualities? That being said we do ourselves a disservice if we stick only to a narrow physical ideal. As the previous posters have said there is some much beyond looks that becomes important if you are to see someone again. Fortunately for people like myself who don't make a great first physical impression it is the nature of the buisness that SPs are more tolerant.

Berlin, Your point is well made ... nothing emails get no response. Assuming this is not the case, it sounds like 24-48 hours before trying again is appropriate and if you don't hear back the second time you are not going to.

A question to the SPs. If an email or PM is sent, how long should the sender wait before he should assume no response will be coming? I know there are always exceptions and extenuating circumstances but as a general rule "An contact not answered in X days will not likely be answered" Thoughts?

One of the things I value in an SP is the ability to talk. A duo is an interesting fantasy but it would seem to be something that is all about sex. I just seems that it would be a very different experience. Thoughts?
