  1. Wish I'd been there too - today was the Leafs jersey giveaway! ;)
  2. She left for her extended vacation maybe a week or so ago, so we're Jenny-less for the next few months. :(
  3. She is indeed, though usually just Friday-Sunday.
  4. Haven't seen her in a while. I think she only does shots on busy nights like Fridays now. :(
  5. Hello! My name is Bridgette and I am an exotic dancer at Barbarella's. I'm an avid hockey fan and love swapping travel stories. The Champagne Room is my favourite playground, and intimate dances with me are a playdate you'll never forget. While I am currently engaged in an internship, and generally only at Barb's on Saturday afternoons from 1:30pm until 7:00pm, I'll be popping into Barb's for a cheeky evening tomorrow, Wednesday January 16th from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Let's unwind from a long day at the office together. ;)
  6. The same thing happened to me once, and one of our bartenders said we have two different sizes of wine glasses, so sometimes it looks like you have less because you have the larger glass. It's pretty silly since it leads to people feeling like they're getting ripped off, so I just thought I'd pass that on so you (or anyone else who has experienced that) don't feel like you were. It'd certainly make more sense if they just used one glass for red and one for white, but what can you do!
  7. For those of you who I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Bridgette and I'm an exotic dancer at Barbarella's. While I am certainly not a big fan of the cold winter days ahead, I sure know how to heat things up and turn the Champagne Room into our very own winter getaway. We can get to know each other or reconnect over drinks and sexy stage shows before ducking into our winter hideout. While you sit back and make yourself comfortable in a plush leather seat, I'll heat things up by getting close and sensual. My soft porcelain skin may be as white as snow, but it will be warm under your fingertips as you caress me. As I curl up in your lap and we share eskimo kisses under the cover of my long auburn hair, you'll forget all about the cold outdoors. Then, when my long auburn hair brushes up against your face, the rest of the room will simply disappear. I am currently engaged in an internship, so you can only find me at Barbarella's on Saturday afternoons from 1:30PM until 7:00PM. I'm rarely in a rush to leave, so if you'd like to see me a bit later in the evening, don't be shy about shooting me a PM. If you prefer to enjoy an unrushed experience without having to count songs, I can offer you my undivided attention for one hour at $300, with other blocks of time also possible. Please note that I am strictly a club dancer and do not offer encounters outside the club.
  8. Last I heard, Jenny was going to be away for the next couple of months. :(
  9. Showcase takes places on Thursdays as well, though sometimes if there's a big crowd and many girls, they'll even run one on a Wednesday afternoon!

This coming week, you will be able to find me at Barbarella's on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00-18:00 or so, and Saturday from 14:00-19:00. My schedule is fairly flexible, so if you'd like to see me later in the evening, don't be shy about shooting me a PM. Saturday the 22nd will be my last time at Barbarella's in 2012, but don't worry - I'll return come January 15th and every subsequent Saturday 14:00-19:00. For those who would prefer to enjoy an unrushed experience without having to count songs, I can offer you my undivided attention for one hour at $300, with other blocks of time also possible. 11. If the CRs weren't as open but there was to be more enforcement of the existing club regulations, that would mean a much more obvious bouncer presence with them having to get much closer to each couple to see if anything extra is going on. As it stands, they can just do a quick walkthrough of the CR while glancing around the booths, resulting in their presence barely being noticed. Personally, I think that's much less invasive. For what it's worth, the 'cattle pen' set-up is really only noticeable late at night when it's very busy. During the afternoon and even early evening, it's not rare to be the only couple in the CR, giving you complete privacy. Whenever another couple comes in, they generally take a booth on the other side of the CR - never right nearby another couple. While I did enjoy working at the Barefax and their more private CRs, they had a lot more 'funny business' going on. In my summer there, I had exponentially more attempts of sexually related abuses than I have ever had in my 2 years at Barb's. I had even less during my few months at the NuDen, and at the time they had very open dance booths. As a dancer, feeling safe is important to me and lets me enjoy what I do. While attempts of sexually related abuses are rare at Barb's, it's still reassuring to know that it wouldn't be hard for the bouncer to notice and help me put a stop to it if someone was getting particularly forceful. Just to give a perspective from the dancer end.
  12. Setting something up with the dancer for a block of time (or even a set number of dances) is a great alternative. Then there's no worries about overcharging or over-counting, and everyone can just relax and enjoy the time. Not to mention, us dancers have a lot more fun when we don't have to worry about counting either! We can lose track of time too, as evidenced by Ricco's dancer.
  13. Most clubs seem to be transitioning to different music systems playing in the back where dances are done, which has certainly helped alleviate this problem. I can only speak for Barb's, the NuDen, and Barefax, but transitions between songs are generally fairly obvious with a short silence and songs are cut to about 3.5-4 minutes each so there are no doubles to worry about.
  14. Yes, this is definitely the best course of action. It's generally against the rules in many clubs for dancers to overcharge, so management would not back up the bogus charge she demanded at the end. I bet it wouldn't even get that far though because she knows that and doesn't want to get in trouble, so as soon as you were to mention going to management, she'd quickly agree upon the appropriate amount.
  15. No worries! It is certainly understandable that a dancer would feel disappointed or hurt by a regular client preferring to spend time with a different dancer, but I just don't think it justifies her blowing up at him or making him feel bad about it. And while rejection is incredibly personal, dancing is an industry in which girls have to have a thick skin about it because it happens on a regular basis, ranging from patrons waving a girl off as she approaches their table, to clients cutting dances short due to a lack of chemistry, to a regular client spending time with a different dancer. It's part of the job, and a dancer simply can't take each rejection to heart or else it'll really mess with her.
  16. Agreed. The beauty of strip clubs is that there is a variety of dancers vying for your attention, and you have the option of spending time with any of them. While it's true that a dancer may be disappointed if a regular client gets dances with a different dancer, it's perfectly within his rights to do that. As a dancer, I agree. It's true that many dancers treat their regular clients differently than one-time clients (be it by sitting and chatting for longer, having less strict boundaries in the CR, or what have you) but it's neither an exclusive service to one client and that client alone nor a reason to feel bad about spending money on other dancers. I know I said it before, but unless an exclusive relationship is explicitly established between the dancer and the client, the dancer has no right to get anything more than disappointed over it - regardless of what added benefits she has offered to the client for his repeated visits.
  17. Redditors have a tendency of trying to find out who is behind the AMAs and they're quite good at it, so just be careful about what information you give out since you mentioned you want to maintain some anonymity.

  19. I've only ever seen one or two people actually put the bill in their mouths. Most just lay it over their lips, on their chest, or hand it to the girl as she approaches them on the stage.
  20. Don't ever put coins on the stage as that's considered very rude. Like Ricco said, a fun and interactive way to tip a dancer is to lie on the stage with your tip. I'd say the most fun way to do it is to get another dancer to give your tip to the lady on stage, as that results in a sexy duo. It's always appreciated if you tip the dancer who will be doing the tipping for you as well, but it's not always expected. Otherwise, if you don't want to get involved or make a big show of it, you can just slide the bill onto the stage while the dancer is up - be prepared for her to try and get you to come up on stage though. You can also just hand her a tip once she gets off stage to avoid that. $5 is the most common tip, though some people will tip $10, $20, or even "make it rain" by literally showering the dancer with a stack of bills. Tips of any size are much appreciated though - I'm sure you've noticed that it doesn't happen too often in our part of the world.
  21. She's back now (saw her last Saturday) and working in the late evenings.
  22. No one can hold a candle to Shakira, I'll give em that!
  23. I second Maude. That woman puts on an incredible stage show - so acrobatic and high energy, it's impossible to take your eyes off her when she's up there!
  24. I'm sorry you've been put in such a lame situation where being direct only makes things worse. In an ideal club, all of the dancers would be happy about customers spreading the wealth, so to speak.
