  1. If you're not comfortable with the direct approach (ie. just telling her you don't want to spend time with her that evening, or letting her know via text before your arrival if you know she'll be working) and assuming you have a good idea of when this dancer works, I think your best bet is to just go to the club when she's not around. I suppose you could also message her asking for her schedule or call the club and ask when she's working, and then just purposefully go in when she's not there to avoid things getting ugly. Unfortunately, other than being direct, I don't think there's any better way to deal with a dancer like this. It's just inevitable that it will be uncomfortable for a while if you're both in the club at the same time.
  2. She was in last Tuesday and went up on stage after me, so you may have seen her. She has shoulder length strawberry blonde hair, porcelain skin, wears glasses, and has truly fantastic boobs!
  3. This is true. I know quite a few dancers who are very possessive about their regulars, and get angry when they so much as talk to other dancers. Given how this dancer is acting towards you now, I wouldn't be surprised if things took a catty turn if you started seeing other dancers in that club in lieu of spending money on her as you usually do. That said, it's your money and you have the right to spend it however you please, so don't feel like you owe her anything just because you've visited her in the past. It's not like she exclusively dances for you, so you aren't obligated to get dances exclusively from her. You could certainly go the route of being direct: next time you're at the club and are interested in getting dances from someone other than her but she approaches you, tell her you're happy to see her but are waiting on someone else this time. Be prepared for her to not take this well, but it's not like she is going to get violent or have you thrown out, so the worst that'll happen is that she'll make a few bitchy comments and shoot death glares your way during the rest of your time in the club. Otherwise, short of switching clubs - which would be a shame if you like this club because of its location or roster of girls - you could just pick a different day or time to visit. I imagine you know this dancer's schedule, so by avoiding when she works, you could avoid a messy situation. There's still the chance that you'll run into her anyway, but that's sort of inevitable if you keep going to this club. I hope this works out for you and you can keep visiting this club and seeing a variety of girls without any drama though!
  4. I hear they can melt in the heat/sun, though the Bank of Canada denies that claim. Overall, I like how vibrant the new colours are but I get annoyed with folding them since they neither stay fully folded nor do they go back to straight like paper bills can. Nothing is perfect!
  5. In some clubs, like the Den and Barb's, kissing is against the rules. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but you should be careful about trying to get the dancer to kiss you. Like Il Re said, if the lady doesn't initiate, your best bet is to simply ask. If you just go for it and are with a dancer who has no interest in kissing her clients, it could lead to an unpleasant experience. It's fine to not get more dances if she doesn't offer kissing, but please be respectful and don't insult her or get huffy because of it. As for extra work outside the club, the most important thing to keep in mind is to, again, be respectful. While it's certainly not uncommon to be solicited for extracurricular activities, it doesn't happen --that-- often, so some dancers do get offended by these requests. As long as you aren't pushy or get angry if she rejects your request, you should be fine.
  6. For those of you who I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Bridgette and I'm an exotic dancer at Barbarella's. The Champagne Room is my favourite playground, and intimate dances with me are a playdate you'll never forget. We can start off by getting to know each other or reconnecting while watching some beauties grace the stage. I've just completed my undergraduate degree, but am an avid hockey fan and also love swapping travel stories. When you're ready, we can move into the Champagne Room: while you sit back and make yourself comfortable, I'll heat things up by getting close and sensual. My long auburn hair will brush up against your face and the rest of the room will simply disappear. For those who would prefer to enjoy an unrushed experience without having to count songs, I can offer you my undivided attention for one hour at $300. You can find me at Barbarella's on Tuesday afternoons from 12:00-19:00 and Saturday afternoons from 14:00-19:00. My schedule is fairly flexible, so if you'd like me to stay later so we can spend some time together, don't be shy about shooting me a PM. In case there are any changes, I keep my schedule updated on my profile. Please note: I am a club dancer only. I neither offer "extra" services in the club, nor do I partake in extracurricular activities outside of it.
  7. The ever useful 'Hide' option! I think I have half of my friends list on 'Hide' because they either post too much and/or post things that are of no interest to me. I believe you can also block all incoming requests from individuals if they're constantly inviting you to groups/events you have no interest in. It's definitely the best option if it's just their requests and posts that are annoying. To 'Hide' someone, next time they pop up on your newsfeed, hover over the top right corner of their post and a downward arrow will appear. Click it, select Hide, and that post will be erased and turn into 3 options; select the middle one, 'Change what updates you get from x' and select Unsubscribe. Problem solved!
  8. ^Very good point! I've heard some pretty horrific stories about angry wives storming into clubs.
  9. You'd think that! I think the main reasons are that management is worried that (1) they would take attention away from the dancers and (2) the ladies are prostitutes who might solicit the male patrons. Certainly not the best reasons, but the reasoning behind a lot of club rules isn't always the best - kind of like how some clubs don't allow patrons to wear any hats whatsoever (even one as harmless as a fedora) to prevent gang issues.
  10. I should've clarified, but by female friendly, I mostly mean clubs that allow women to go in 'unescorted' by a male. This won't be an issue for the OP as she'll be going with her husband, but in case other ladies are reading and want to go solo or with other women, it's useful to know. Before I worked there, I tried to go to Barb's with two other female friends and we were turned away as it is a "gentlemen's" club.
  11. If you're getting a dance alone, it should only cost you $20 a song. It'd be quite unfair to charge a lady $30 instead of $20, so I'd be shocked if that happened. The dancer will likely quickly go over the rules with you before the dance, but if she doesn't, feel free to just ask what she's comfortable with. The most basic rule is that you can touch anywhere expect the kitty. Have fun! I'd say the Den is definitely one of the more female friendly clubs in Ottawa.
  12. I remember Angel from when I first started dancing. She's such a sweet girl! Hope she has a lovely birthday!!
  13. If you enjoy getting dances, the Champagne Rooms is often empty during the day when there aren't many girls, and it's always fun to have the place to yourself! ;) Barb's generally never has more than 3 break songs between girls, though it's not rare to see the same girls over and over - I've had to go up twice an hour on a couple of shifts where we were especially lacking dancers. From my experience, Barefax usually has more girls working during the day, so tere will likely be a bit more variety there. Of course, if you plan on attending on a Thursday or Friday day shift, most clubs will have quite a variety of ladies and no break songs.
  14. That's not a bad idea, as there's less to "compete" with, in a sense, so her schedule wouldn't be buried under thousands of other updates. The only issue with Facebook is that many strip club attendees want to maintain their anonymity, and wouldn't want to associate their Facebook (and full name) with a dancer, thus broadcasting their interest in strip clubs to all of their friends and family. I'm not sure if it's currently possible to "hide" your subscriptions from your friends list or not, but I'm not sure how much I'd trust that feature as Facebook is quite notorious for making sudden changes to their privacy settings. Social media is a tricky promotional tool for the sex industry where discretion and anonymity are so important, as most social media accounts are linked to real identities, and patrons and hobbyists don't necessarily want to broadcast that aspect of their lives to their social circles. Personally, I think CERB is a happy medium. Both dancers/providers and patrons/hobbyists are able to maintain their anonymity while staying in contact with each other!
  15. Very very true, especially if you're following news organizations or other accounts that tweet constantly!
  16. While I can't offer you a recommendation on where to go, I can tell you that a smile goes a long way. It's not rare for ladies to come to strip bars and sit around glaring at the dancers or simply wearing an expression that makes it seem like they don't want to be there, and acting accordingly. Sadly, this means that lots of dancers don't bother approaching couples/females. If you look like you actually want to be there (ie. smile), then the dancers won't be as intimidated by you, and therefore will be more likely to approach you. Of course, it never hurts to simply go up to a dancer you're interested in (maybe tip her on stage and ask her to come by after her show or approach her if she's just sitting/standing around), or ask a waitress to send her over. Also, be upfront about what you're looking for with your experience. Some couples just want to have a few drinks and watch the stage shows, while others want to have some dances. If you just want to sit around, watch, and enjoy the company of a dancer/dancers on the floor, I'm sure she'd appreciate knowing that you aren't interested in dances, and maybe a small tip for her time so she'll stick around for a while. Happy clubbing!
  17. You'd be surprised! I know some dancers whose smartphones are practically an extension of themselves, and quite a few of them are always checking Twitter or other social media websites. Of course, this is mainly during down times - though some girls will pop into the dressing room every so often just to check out what's happening online!
  18. It may not be Twitter, but myself and three other dancers, Jazy, Annessa, and LusciousLaceyxo, post our dancing schedules on here. I swear I've seen a handful of other girls do it as well, though I'm drawing a blank on their names and am unsure if they're currently doing that or not. FWIW, I tried using Twitter to promote my schedule but didn't find it to be a useful tool, so I'm not surprised there aren't really any other dancers doing it either. I don't think that says anything of their organizational skills though.
  19. Couldn't help but laugh while reading that article! It's a little funny how the local bylaws are so far from the truth in all those cities, and that Toronto of all places is 'loosening' them, when I'd say their clubs already have the loosest rules. In any case, at least our cities aren't run like many American ones, where local officials dig up these bylaws and organize raids to shut down clubs around election time to make the incumbent look good.

  21. As long as you don't start with inverts and work your way up instead, I don't see why that would be the case. Of course, it's always wise to have carpeting or some sort of mat on the floor just in case.
  22. Do you have your own pole? I can recommend some great YouTube links for tutorials!
  23. backrubman is right, they're probably just looking for drugs. However, where there are drugs there is sometimes a pimp as well, and there are certainly dancers who find themselves in situations with one. Not saying that your friends do, but if it's a "stripper residence," perhaps that's why it's being targeted specifically.
