There is still a free (with purchase of a drink) lunch buffet, from noon until 2 or 2:30. They also have a free (with purchase of a drink) dinner buffet from 4:30-6, but the club is fairly quiet around this time as a lot of the day girls are leaving and the night girls haven't yet come in. It's not rare for there to only be one or two dancers! Private dances are $20/song. For two dancers, the signs posted state that it's supposed to be $50, but you may find girls charging $40. Since the club used to be under the same ownership as Pigale, you may encounter the offer of a VIP room price: $300/hour or $150/half hour. I believe there are actually still signs about the VIP upstairs.

Yes indeed! I'm so excited for this show to start up again and see how Deb tackles finding out. And fingers crossed for a villain worthy of Trinity, who was definitely my favourite. I recently picked up the books and was pretty amazed at how much the show diverged from them, but they're well worth a read too!

For those of you who I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Bridgette and I'm an exotic dancer at Barbarella's. The Champagne Room is my favourite playground, and intimate dances with me are a playdate you'll never forget. Just got back from seeing the Star Wars Identities exhibit and it was pretty darn cool! Today is the last day it's in Montreal, but it'll be in Edmonton soon.

x2. Expect to pay at least $40 a month (more like $50-60 though) if you upgrade to a smartphone. It's generally cheaper to go with a plan rather than pay as you go for data.

I have an iPhone and am with Koodo. They offer some of the cheaper plans in Ontario, and their service is wonderful since they're a subsidiary of Telus. I've been with Telus before and would recommend them as well, but Koodo is just cheaper. Customer service for both companies is great too, from my experience. Only Wind and Mobilicty offer cheaper alternatives, but their service isn't even great throughout the city or downtown - I tried Wind out but had no service in my neighbourhood when I was living in Sandy Hill. Also, forget using your phone outside major urban centres (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and Ottawa - London & Kingston with Wind as well) without roaming fees. Can't even go to Montreal with it!

I had my first shift back yesterday and only recognized one dancer too. Not sure what's up, but that's some high turnover!

Barefax as well has a wide couch area where couples or double dances are often done. Barb's has one wider couch that's doable as well, though it's a tight fit. OP - I know you already have the Den in mind, but in case others are looking for the best club for a couples dance, this could be useful, so I hope you don't mind the slight thread jack. :)

^He's participating by watching, so still expect to pay more than $20. The Den is quite nicely set up for this sort of dance because of the wide couches, so your husband will be able to sit next to you during the dance and have a great view. Have fun!

Expect to pay $40, though like Annessa points out, some girls may only charge $30. I'd be surprised if you were able to get a couples dance for only $20, though I suppose it could happen - I wouldn't recommend asking for it though. Just make sure to ask the dancer for the cost before starting the dance to avoid any nasty surprises.

It's actually 2:00 on Saturdays, though the doors are usually open from 1:30 and sometimes there is a customer or two waiting for the girls to stroll in!

I've never worked in Toronto, but have a few friends who do. From what they've told me, dances can tend to get quite a bit friendlier than up in Ottawa, so I'm sure you'll have a good time!
