Hi Summer, I am very new and a bit nervous. I think clean and tidy is most important. Then it needs to look like you live there. It should represent who you are. Smells, textures, colours all define who you are. I like candles and insense but your right, I'd go easy on the perfumes.. :-) Good luck with the new place.
