  1. Congratulations you lovely beast. I have very much enjoyed many of your posts and comments. Thank you for all you do and looking forward to more *muah*
  2. Hello and welcome. While you are in your 5 post moderated period, all your posts will be delayed while they are approved. After this point, you will see no delay. It is also fine to discuss medications both prescription and natural here. Information sharing is always welcome!
  3. Congratulations, you do make life more interesting. Keep it up!
  4. If it's someone I've met before and enjoyed, I'm usually excited to see them again. If it's someone new, while I'm still excited, I hope that they will be open to and with me and that it will be an exchange of energy even if it's a pleasure session.
  5. I think your target would be the 35 -50 demographic. These would be the people interested in the topic from whatever angle, have the interest in reading and be open to a new topic. In would think the younger demographic may have sine intetest but it would be hit or miss. If they were readers generally and had an interest. Most others are into other genres and interests. As was mentioned it also depends on the pov you took in the book. Good luck and excited to hear what happens. Publishing digitally is such a great option now.
  6. Perhaps a different perspective will help with this "two way street" debate. Couple questions: How many escorts or providers have been killed, stalked, threatened, beaten, blackmailed etc. from a client? That is to present time with no real names being utilized. How many clients have been in the same position from an escort? Some providing real names. If a providers real name is out there, . what do you think the increase rate for harassment or other negative behavior might be? A real name links to FB or an address, real phone number, info on kids, job, parents etc? How many other may be on the receiving end of negative behavior from being connected to someone now known to be doing this? How many may have an impact via schooling, another job, losing a job etc? Many ladies work from hotels or an Incall location. They keep business separate from personal usually for a number of reasons. MY point is that saying it is a two way street and that a client having a real name is the same as a provider having a real name and being NO big deal is absurd. If it was really no big deal, this would be a legitimate business, acceptable as any other form of work, fully accepted by society with no stigma attached, would receive rights and benefits afforded regular workers and not be the focus of so many people wanting to out, save, slam etc. This is the point, it IS a big deal to many of us. If it's not a big deal to you, great, find those who agree with you but at least acknowledge that it can and is a big deal to many.
  7. It is your opinion yes, and you have every right to stick with providers who do not require a name or any information from you whatsoever. I hope everything works out for you. However, fanning the flames on purpose is disrespectful especially after the numerous comments about risk and safety here. These ladies provide a service and as with ANY service, there are conditions and safeties in place. What you choose to do or not do is your business however your comment had no relevance except to create animosity. The situations are not comparable and it is NOT a two way street.
  8. Another point to this story is that as a client, you really lose nothing by providing your name to a reputable provider. However, if a reputable provider who has a website, advertises, puts her face out there etc. provides a real name they are then open to some VERY negative outcomes. Being judged, having their family and friends aware whether chosen or not, being open to restricted travel, having any business or school affiliations impacted, potentially having negative impacts on children whether in school, receiving some sort of assistance or just in general, having many personal things about you called into question and even potentially having your life or way of life put into jeopardy. As was mentioned, we build our reputations slowly and the right way to be known for discretion, trustworthiness and as a professional. We put in effort each and every day. We give based on what we are comfortable with and the risks we are willing to take. Clients have a world of information on us even if NOT our name. Asking for a real name from a client is part of a screening tool for our safety. I don't know many ladies who, right out of the gate, would feel secure providing their name to anyone with all the risks associated. The risk factor is minimal on the client side but maximum on the ladies. If a client is not willing to take a minimal risk but demands a maximum one, perhaps they should rethink their participation and also how they view risk.

  10. Quite frankly with what I've seen of governments lately, here and the US, I would be fearful of being licensed. While it may start out with good intentions, that licensing gives power to whatever collective holds the information. If it's government run and a shift occurs, that license information could end up being a "round up" list or a "monitor" list. Also, with this type of thing, the control of the information would be out of your hands. Would it be classified or public record. Would your real name be associated with it or could you use a 'screen name'. Until there is a great shift in the perception, stigma and reality surrounding sex work, I doubt I would feel safe and protected in a licensed situation. This on top of already mentioned issues associated with travel, leaving the industry, not being able to afford licensing etc.
  11. I have the note 3 chosen specifically for the ability to multi-task (dual windows), have office features loaded plus tonnes of great free apps and large screen. Would love to upgrade to the Note 4 for the better camera. The Samsung S6 is also great. I started with Samsung and have loved every phone I've had. Many places are offering $0 down now.
  12. I just wanted to add my two cents and say welcome to everyone new to LYLA. I hope you all find this a great place with lots of good information and open discussions.
  13. A couple busy but most wonderful days full of so many amazing and wonderful instances and experiences. Lots of laughter to boot!! Blessed indeed!
  14. Have an amazing birthday and may the next year be filled with blessings!
  15. I've found that there are two camps in relation to the magic wand. Those who love it and would never be without, and those who find it way to powerful or prefer a more "inner" experience. There are certain ways I love the wand and at times need it. There are other times I prefer something else. Definitely a great tool to have in the toy chest!
  16. It's Friday. Time to take off your pants, do a little dance and come see what I have waiting for you... It's worth finding! Happy Friday Everyone http://midnite-energies.tumblr.com/
  17. Perhaps the problem was how you approached this lady. MANY texts says that perhaps it ended up on the more nagging/annoying side. Asking for pics (as was discussed in another thread) is also not accruals and will not get you a positive reaction. There is a lot of Good information on this site. I suggest some time is invested in learning how to aproach a lady to get better results for a meeting. I'm not saying that there wasn't an issue but from what youve shared it sounds more like the way she was approached by you that elicited the reaction.
  18. I think that if you asked her to do an out call when perhaps all she does is In (not knowing just going by your comment) she has every right to be upset because you did not respect her enough to accept her boundaries and continued to push by offering more money.
  19. Hello and welcome and thank you for your kind words. I can only speak for myself and reference many other threads I have read here but no, I have never seen an upper limit either expressed or commented on. Age is just a number and it's more about the person. This industry is based around more important concepts like respect, connection, hygiene etc. The only part age plays in that is in the maturity of the person as some have set lower age limits due to past history of no shows, time wasting, rudeness, negotiating and disrespect. Age does impact so things from time to time so this may be a good thing to discuss with your lady to have the best experience possible but in no way should age limit your participation or enjoyment. The only limits you should have are the ones you personal feel uncomfortable with.
  20. I don't think any of us ignore the truth of things. There is a very real and very serious issue in this country and it seems that our government is set on pushing it's own agenda and weakening us as opposed to being dedicated to making this country a great place. It seems everything coming out lately is designed to remove rights and freedoms, make people more reliant upon government and also more fearful. Thomas Jefferson said "when the government fears the people, there is liberty, when the people fear the government, there is tyranny." We speak, guardedly, about what is close to home, in this case, C36. I say guardedly because the law was designed to silence voices. It was designed to push a point, remove rights and freedoms and shove us all into a hole. It's not about saving us or protecting us, its about control. I am still on the fence about the impact LE will be having and as such, continue to be wary and vigilant. As mrrnice2 pointed out, there doesn't seem to be a lot of initiatives about creating, supporting or making viable. It seems to be more about handing out so you are more reliant on someone/thing, pigeonholing and bringing into line and gaining more control. So many initiatives to protect us from ourselves which only seem to give someone else the job of protecting us however way they deem fit. Legalizing of this industry is a good thing PROVIDED that there are also plans put into place to not only deal with but deter the behaviors we know are present. We need a shift from consensual punishment to punishment for those seeking to lure, abuse, control, harm etc. and those rules need to be firm and unwavering in their execution. I've said this before and will again, that what we've been dealing with is only part of the equation, only a line in a larger drawing. What is written into the law that impacts us has the ability to impact others as it seems many laws being passed these days are. That is a scary thought. I suppose it starts with each one of us governing ourselves according and working to be better than we were. Respect, support, tolerance. If we can't have it for ourselves and those around is, it leeches out into society at large. Change always starts small, with one person and grows from there. It does seem our country is broken and where it goes from here is anyone's guess.

  23. I think "society" in general falls into two camps. The first are those who were taught that this industry is wrong and hurtful to people and those involved are sick or drug riddled or whatever. They had the stigma attached to their thinking and they never questioned it nor looked any further into it but will react with it when required. The other camp doesn't really think about it or care. They are mostly focused on themselves and their lives and what others do doesn't have any real impact. This is the group that as an industry we need to reach because some of the new laws, ours included, could have actual impact on them even though it's not specifically about them. If the government feels taking away our rights and freedoms is okay and they do so unchallenged, who is to say they won't try it with the rest of the people in some capacity. It's like the anti-bullying law they have that gives access to private records and conversations via cell and email. How many people pay attention to the fact that police can charge you if you don't give over your phone password even without a warrant. The first camp has the loudest voices and aren't afraid to use them and can influence others because of this. They paint us with the ugliest brushes, client and worker alike. Most, no matter what we say or what we show them, will probably still continue to believe what they want. The other camp I believe, can be swayed or at least remain neutral. They are usually impacted by whatever personally touches them. This is when it could be important for them to know someone. I would love to see a positive wave of impact it's just difficult to stand up and be heard when you are unsure of the impact.
  24. Just seeing this thread now. Sending warm healing energy to you and more to ease your mind and keep you focused on complete healing! !
  25. I believe what tempted Monk was trying to say is that there is inspiration in what has already been accomplished. I believe everyone, no matter what business they are in, gains insight, knowledge and inspiration from others. The good take this and build around it with their own flair and style and turn it into a unique presentation. Photographers may see lighting, posing or places that inspire something in them and they then use those ideas as a jumping point to something else. Online business may look at what other like businesses are doing in advertising and web presence. This does NOT mean anyone is coping anyone's content, it simply means they are drawing inspiration to begin their own design and development. Yes, there are people with no insight or imagination who steal ideas, thoughts, words, concepts but this is not the majority of people. I learn and gain from those around me all the time. I don't steal but I gather ideas and use them to create something unique to me. There are standards that most companion websites have to give the necessary information. Each of the headers means something different to everyone or provides a different vision. Using the same header with personalized content is not stealing, it's utilizing an industry standard. Every website has a donation page or a gallery page. There are only so many names to call this before people get confused as to the content. I think this was mainly a perception issue. When I read it, I read it as an idea jumping point. Those who have had previous issues saw it as something else and of course, everyone in between. It is NOT okay to steal content, copyrighted images or taglines, styling or whatever. I do believe ideas can be gained from research.
