  1. Honestly, spending time with an SP is a very open, honest, non judgmental way to explore, learn and enjoy. You don't have to worry about many of the things associated with meeting a "real" person. By this I mean, you go into the relationship knowing boundaries and knowing that they are there to keep you safe and comfortable. You don't have to worry about someone thinking the wrong thing, seeing something that's not there, expecting too much etc. This could be looked at as therapy because if you choose the right person, they will help you with whatever it is you need and want, the focus is on you within whatever limits are discussed. There is no need to "perform" or live up to any sort of expectation. It's wonderful you have a friend you can be so open with and who cares about your well being. However, YOU are the one on CERB and seeing the true identity of the industry. Seeing what it can give you as opposed to all the fallacies attached. In the end, it boils down to what you want, desire, need, the risk you're willing to take and what is in your best interest. Listen to your inner voice as it will provide the right answers.
  2. Carlosage, I most definitely believe it can but it honestly depends on how YOU approach the situation. If you're up front, honest and willing to put yourself in the moment, learn and be open to suggestions then you will most definitely gain confidence and experience for dealing with women. There are a number of threads on CERB discussing this exact thing and there have been many men who have gained so much from their interactions with an SP which is a safe open environment to do so. Like anything in life, what you put in you can potentially get out. You have nothing to lose by trying and potentially everything to gain! Good Luck!
  3. In the case of an independent, I wonder if you send a note to say hello and the person, for whatever reason, is not open to it, if this would be considered "spam"? Could make for some interesting suits and fines.
  4. I love mutual masturbation especially when there is kissing involved and it's reverse mutual; so deliciously hot! Enjoy when a man strokes himself while I lick his thighs, balls or wherever else tickles my fancy. Have received the most enticing pics/videos so love watching that. In a masturbation regard, I'm much more a voyeur than an exhibitionist. In person though, I can only take so much before I crave touch or taste.
  5. This is my favorite "[Prostitutes'] lived experiences tell us that most men buy sex because it is about power. And sometimes that's violent power, sometimes that's aggressive power, but sometimes it's just the sense that for this time period, I have the social, economic and sexual power over this other person," says the policy analyst from the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, an umbrella group of evangelical Christians in Canada" At least they stopped using "always" or "for the majority". Focus on why this is for those people and stop blanketing everyone.
  6. Just to clarify, there was a vote on C36 today. 137 Yays FOR the bill and 117 Nays AGAINST. Therefore, it is still moving forward. My apologies for those who may have gotten excited.
  7. So according to the parliamentary website C-36 was not on the agenda today however Elizabeth May just tweeted that they are voting on it now and that the Conservatives are ramming it through. Guess we wait to see what happens next. 137 Yays, 177 Nays
  8. Personally, I love to write about sex and talk about sex however this is one of those questions that to me, is more about the titillation than the actual pleasure. I enjoy such a variety of sensations that vary depending on the day of the week and the person I'm with. I don't always like the same speed, pressure, laps or licks. I also find that everyone has something special they bring to the table so it really IS about connection and chemistry. You can direct 5 people to do the same motion and they will all interpret it differently. I've been blown away by what someone has done and found myself craving it afterwards (both with and without orgasm). Pussy licking is about enthusiasm, cues, enjoyment and going with the flow, the same as cock sucking. Give yourself over to the moment, be fully present and pay attention to your partners cues, give and take but most of all ENJOY!
  9. Yesterday was a difficult day. I received a text early that someone very close to me had a friend pass away. Then later, I found out someone who was an angel to my family when we needed it, who shared a birthday with me, who had also been suffering from cancer and fighting like a trooper, passed away at way too young an age. Now a real angel.
  10. Not bad for a Rambling Man right RG? Congrats and thanks for all your words!
  11. Pete, you are a man of many words, many descriptors, supportive of this community and all the lovely ladies plus you have a playful sense of fun and a heart of gold. Thanks for all your posts and I for one, look forward to much more from the world of Pete! *muah*
  12. This may be the time where the rubber meets the road. There are industry standard labels and acronyms now so if things were to change drastically, so would that verbiage. Then it becomes a matter of both sides paying attention and respecting the other. By this I mean, coming up with new ways of saying old things. Instead of a BJ or HJ it could be verbal or non verbal communication (depending on whether your mouth is full or not). There will always be advertising so unless they're going to rewrite the laws every time a new innocuous term to describe a sexual act comes into play there are always ways. New comers on the SP side will have to do their homework to understand how the laws impact them and terms that are acceptable. New clients will have to respect the SP's and their terms or risk being shut out. There are ways to reduce the risk but it will still be a risk so until everyone gets used to it, there will be a lot of tension and sensitivity. Those who don't listen, pay attention or offer respect will pay the price. Right now anyone can pop in and out of the industry with little to no problem. They don't need to be serious or long term. If the laws pass as is, this will be more difficult to do. I still see boards like CERB around, just in a different way unless they can be under the radar by being a "non public" place hosted outside Canada. I expect phone use as opposed to email and text will flourish once again. The one thing that those in favor of this bill have ignored and continue to ignore is the fact we are not ignorant, stupid, or victims and we will find a way to prevail and flourish. It won't be easy but it will be worth it and meanwhile, the fight for change will continue. Being pro-active not reactive will go a long way.
  13. We've seen this exact thing in Halifax recently with the woman charged with pimping underage girls. There were many charges laid all from laws that are present to address many of these things. Anyone who says there are no laws or the laws we have don't work, should get their facts straight.
  14. That is it exactly! I posted on Twitter last week that even if you want something done and do not want to see prostitution legalized (or even if you don't care) that you have to stand up against this bill because of the bigger picture. Today it's prostitution, tomorrow it might be guns, porn or basic privacy. It all starts somewhere and once started, it's a slippery slope and more difficult to stop.
  15. Thank you for the links to those two articles. I really have to stop reading the comments though. The ignorance, hatred, venom and stupidity never fails to both gall and sadden me. We, as Canadians, shouldn't have to claw so much or scream so loud to have our basic rights and needs heard and protected or have people dismiss us as diseased victims who don't know any better. An old Chinese saying is "may you live in interesting times" We most certainly are.
  16. Congratulations! Not only do I love reading the things you write but I also love your name Conquistador. I love to roll it around in my mouth and savor every syllable as it languidly tantalizes me!
  17. Welcome to CERB. This board is much different as it's set up to be a more positive place where there is more of a community feel. There is a lot of information and discussions and then a lot just for fun. Many here are friends as well as business partners. Enjoy your stay!
  18. I'm sure I speak for many when I say that most of us fit the bill of what you're looking for. My advice is to find someone in the Halifax area that you are attracted to and then read their posts/website/blog to see if they become more or less attractive to you. At that point, get in touch via their requested mode of communication and ask them about HJ's and if that is something they do. Also include any restrictions you might have (IE: no kissing prior, covered HJ, Uncovered HJ, sensitivities). Hopefully at that point you will be good to have a wonderful experience that will leave you smiling. Good luck and enjoy!
  19. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day, let's make it a day about pleasure! Come play in my world and enjoy a little tease http://midnitemassage.tumblr.com/
  20. Have an entirely wonderful birthday filled with many pleasures and smiles. Enjoy!
  21. It is business as usual until such a time the bill goes to a vote. If it passes there, then it is law and in place potentially to be struck down by the SCC. At this point it is just another fight in the long line of fighting for rights. Carry as as you have been.
  22. This bill is so poor that deep down we all know it will fizzle out...eventually. Until that point it will be hanging over our heads and creating drama and angst and THAT is what it boils down to. It is THAT concept that I think everyone is upset about even if they haven't acknowledged it yet. It's more fighting and trying to get a voice heard. It's trying to convince people who won't listen that we are people who should have the same rights as anyone, that we matter. We are NOT all victims, some have chosen this. We make things safer for ourselves and those we share this industry with because no one seems to want to do it for us. Our government is trying to take away our safety, our livelihood and most importantly our voice. It IS politics, politics forsaking a large group of people and using them as a patsy for someone else's agenda. Even if it gets thrown out entirely, beaten down etc. It will be creating negativity and drama in our lives for the foreseeable future. It will impact our lives and our businesses and those of our clients. It will impact our society and the way we are perceived in the world. It will raise angry voices until the end, voices that are fighting on both sides for justice and to be heard. THAT is the reality of this legislature. What happens in the end matters but it's all the stuff between now and then that will have the greatest impact.
  23. Everyone is lonely at some point it's the cause that should be the important thing. There are those who aren't comfortable in their own skin or with who they are so lonely follows them. Other have picked the wrong people to be their friends so find themselves lonely in a crowd. Some find it a challenge, for whatever reason, to sustain a meaningful relationship. All these require personal change in order to change the circumstance. In these, an SP might make a very short term impact but in order to maintain it, it would cost a lot of money. It would be like an addiction, you crave to feel better even if for a short period so do anything to get that "hit". Definitely not healthy. Now for those who are between relationships or have a very healthy social life, content with who they are, adding an SP to their lives as a companion, then yes, very much a way to cope.
