  1. Chat I was wondering if any women would be interested in congregating in the chat room at some given time. I'm hoping that you might feel inclined to talk about lifestyle and well being as it pertains to the trade. It would be awesome if we could even hook up regularly to discuss this stuff, just to connect and share ideas and support - but even once would be helpful for me, and maybe even all of you! Also, some have approached me in private requesting a chat and I said that I never use chat rooms under any circumstances. Up until now that has been true, but in the case of get togethers of a group to exchange ideas and support, I'm breaking my rule. Private Messages Just a general note to let you know that absolutely nothing that is shared with me will be shared with anyone else, unless you wish it. I am fanatically true blue and honesty is my religion. So rest easy. :)
  2. Hi Meghan, thanks for the words of support. The investment is pretty much the same whether I set up in town or not. But one definitely wants it to pay off. I guess my biggest concerns are economy and discretion, safety, and my cats. It just seems much easier to pull all this off in a much more private locale in a great big house. If I set up in the city, I will need two places. My cats are used to having me around all the time. If I'm working 10 hours a day, they're going to be alone all the time. How do women with children, or cats for that matter do it? For those doing a high volume business, I guess there are often hours that are free? You can tell I'm such a noob. Thanks Meghan, and have a wonderful weekend.
  3. I'm glad you're being honest. I need a good reading, because this would be quite an investment. Also, it will help me get clear about what clients really want. Hope for more responses. I'll wait. And thanks for weighing in. I really appreciate it.
  4. Hi everyone. I plan on offering the very best "executive massage" service this side of Ottawa, Toronto, and Winnipeg. That must be darn near 2,000 miles or thereabouts. I have found some gorgeous properties - some of which are about 40 minutes outside of Thunder Bay. I would love to set up shop in these locales but I would like to get a reading on how likely it is that clients are willing to commute. There are some delightful surprises in store that I want to keep under my hat, and I would like to inquire of the gentlemen here, if the idea of a mini vacation in beautiful surroundings would be enticing enough to make the commute. Well, beautiful surroundings, and a beautiful woman who will treat her clients royally during their visit. Hope everyone is having a great day, and hope to hear from you.
  5. Hi, I can't seem to find a link that will take me to messages I've sent other members. Does anyone know if records of sent messages are kept and how to access that? Thanks!
  6. I can't make this one, but I would LOVE to read all about it, and hopefully help to coordinate or attend future get togethers. This is a great idea!
  7. Hi Sugar, good to see ya!! As always you are so generous with your insights and tips and I am in your debt. I have been doing my homework over the last 12 hours, and probably in my sleep because I woke up grinding out solutions in the early morning grey fog clinging to the gray matter between my ears. I can actually say that I am now excited and inspired, and that is in no small part due to what you have offered in your response in this thread. Hope to meet you when I finally get there and thanks again. :)
  8. Hi Raven, I guess MA is massage attendant? If so, that's exactly what I was going for, only independent. I'm not sure on rates though and can't seem to find the info here. Any advice? Thanks!
  9. Just kidding. I'm not a troll. Some of you may remember me from earlier this year. I have not yet entered the biz. I have been mulling and mulling and mulling. After all this time of mulling I have arrived at a possible plan. I wanted to give it a test run here. Thing is, I don't want to fuck. The farthest I'd go is manual stimulation. Only the rare exception might get oral. So I've been wondering how to go about it. I was figuring that if this is going to work, I'd probably need to charge pretty low rates. I have been trying to find out what the average courtesan here determines as her fee, and set mine accordingly - a discounted version. Do you think this would be doable? I'm pretty enough. I'm slim enough. I'm often told I look like Nicole Kidman. Your advice and insights are eagerly anticipated!
  10. Hi Sugar, I don't know what benefits an association could realistically provide at this time. I have only inspiration and ideas. I'm going to research an association in Toronto and get back to you on what they are actually accomplishing, besides finding an audience for their rhetoric from time to time. I can tell you that I'm sick and tired of people who make a big production of how helpful/useful they/they're organizations are, and it turns out, in the end, they've taken more for you while they've managed to be absolutely no help whatsover. It leaves me feeling an outraged combination of fuming comtempt and preverse admiration at their sheer genius for running this scam - and to add insult to injury, often under 'respectabe' auspices. Anyway, I'm going to research my own question a little more than come back with some more ideas on how an association could actually do some real good for all its members, and not be some kind of "feel good do nothing, but get everything" scam that everyone else seems to be running.
  11. One thing that comes up as a topic of universal service provider interest is the question of what would attract new clients, especially during slower times? I guess variety is the gleaming, holy grail of holding the interest of our hobbyist fans. Drawing upon your vast experience in the field, do think that's enough to attract out of towners? Do you think it's enough to keep the regulars always knocking on your door, rather than someone elses? I have two ideas. One idea I'm going to keep under my hat, because I haven't given up on the idea of meeting my elders in the business and to find new ways of servicing the market, through a collaboration of efforts and talents. The other idea is what about theme days? This way you can be a different person every day? Perhaps you have your own ideas of how to find a market, and/or drive it?
  12. And it seems my answer was not satisfactory, because everyone who responded after that, devoted a great deal of their responses to "addressing", in a lecturing tone, my use of the word upscale. Why do I need advice about my choice of words? I acknowledged the good advice I recieved, and thanked people for it several times. I know the difference between advice offered when it's asked for, and the "lecturing" kind of advice that's offered when it isn't asked for, or necessary. Plus, what with all the people nodding in agreement to these posts, it's like there was a REAL problem with my use of that word, and a REAL need to correct me. This evoked in me, a REAL need to indulge in sarcasm, and I'm not sorry. Sorry. Maybe you didn't set me up, I don't know. But my initial answer to your question should have more than settled it.
  13. I did not see Pistol Pete's post until after I had posted my response to Kaya. Pistol Pete - The "filthy rich" thing is just a fantasy. I'm completely against harvesting mohogany, it was just a way to tell the story of my life in an upscale parallel universe. In that world, the replicators would materialize a mohagany table out of thin air. For me, money is all about how it can be put to work for the greater good. I'm bored as fuck with material posessions, and that's the truth. Today I researched how to retrofit my house with straw bale. Luckily I can do that without pimping out my body. However I do wonder if it's possible to make a fortune so that I can do even more stuff for the environment as well as work to elevate the status of the service provider industry. My heart and soul are in the right place, and I wouldn't do anything in the world to change that. But back to service providing... At this point in time, it's just as much of a "fantasy" for me, as it is for the would be clients who would seek out my services. I want to believe the initial question was not a set up, but I have been set up exactly like that way too many times in the past, with streams of people lining up to put me in my place because my words give them disagreeable "fantasies" and they want to blame me for that somehow. I don't much enjoy that and if my being nice doesn't work then shifting gears is only natural. Walking away is also an option, but don't mistake that for quitting. Bunnies can disappear and reincarnate as other cute little playthings.
  14. Thanks for your levity and perspective. I won't comment on the histrionic direction this thread seems to have taken, but hopefully that can be righted now. I agree completely with everything you said. "Upscale" was a convenient and readily understood word, but I have a staggering aresenal of words at my disposal, so I can dispose of that word if it really doen't suit. There are many ways to convey upscaleness without using that word, even if those ways are less efficient. Ah well, Courtesaning is an art, after all... I think I'm going to switch my sights from TBay to another venue. it doesn't really matter which one. I can go anywhere, really. For sure I want to have fun at my new job. Fighting isn't fun for me. Bad for my delicate peaches and whipped cream complexion too.
  15. I was set up from the very first question. At any rate some "upscale" gents have approached me in PMs, so I'm doing something right. I think I have been super nice and gracious but that seems to have been completely overlooked as people persist in jumping all over my "upscale" statement, long after I have clarified my position, with the utmost deference and willingness to please and cooperate. I agree it's probably not going to be safe to communicate with very many of you guys, and if I do ply my trade, it will have to be without having made your acquaintance. It's too bad Madison. I think we could have become filthy rich. I have the brains, you have the looks, kind of deal. But it's OK, I have both so if I'm going to be brilliant, it will have to be without you. I have read many threads where service providers signed up but never stayed. The bitchiness is too corrosive and not condusive to happiness, health and wealth. This is Bunny FuFu over and out. I will keep in touch with the gents who "rang" though, but im PMs. :) Thanks Cerb. It was short and sweet.
  16. Well, I think I'll pay a visit to an upscale botique, in a upscale neighbourhood whereby I can surround myself with upscale poshness as I purchase upscale clothing, followed by a visit to an upscale spa for a message, facial, manny, pedi. After that it's off to an upscale coffee shop where I will order the most upscale coffee concoction on the menu. Cupping the cup in my delicate, porcelain hands I glide with upscale grace to a large window appointed with a gleaming mohagany table and plush leather arm chair. After imbibing in my hot, steamy, upscale treat, I take my shopping bags in hand, depart from the upscale establishment, amble back through the upscale neighbourhood back to my charming, unpretentious abode tucked away in the glorious boreal forrest. From there, I dream a little dream upscale experiences yet to be savoured with the upscale man of my dreams. Yup, I agree, that's good enough for me. The well meant advice has been great - the lectures, unecessary and boring. Thanks for playing!
  17. Thanks Angela. By my last post, it's a safe bet that I got the gist of the respectful, courteous, requirement, but I suppose it never hurts to emphasize the point. I think "uber rich" was meant to be a jest, and in any case, rich is relative. I mean, have you ever found $20 in your pocket when you thought you were flat broke? I have, and you can bet I felt "uber rich". As for being too old, I mean too tired. I'm 50 and the though of embarking upon a brand new career is daunting and exhausting, and I'm not going to lie - a bit frightening. It's great that there's a forum here to explore these ideas and get some feed back from both sides of the business. I hope life is treating you well in beautiful Ottawa. Thanks for your response.
  18. "upscale" - uber rich!!! LOL!! Roaming, You're quite right. Class, respect, cleanliness, those are the qualities that seperate an "upscale" gentleman from the other kinds of non-gentlemanly males. Madison, what you said about marketing was not lost on me. I guess I'm the best of both worlds, old, AND inexeprienced!! I love the sample description you wrote about me. I just might nab it and make it my own! Or I might just chicken out of this enterprise altogether, but one thing is for sure - if the girls are still meeting, I will be there with bells on! Because if I'm not servicing clientele, that doesn't mean I can't provide services to the service providers. The first thing is to find out if there is a need, what the need is, and can I fill it?
  19. OP, You'd be more likely to find that what you're looking for in Toronto, or NYC. But that's a long way to go just for one hour. My suggestion is to look at websites of escorts in those cities who command those fees, and compare them to the escorts available in your location to see if there is a very big difference in terms of the standard of physical beauty you have in mind. My guess is if someone took a photo of a woman who matched your description of beauty from each location - with one at $300 per hour and the other at $1,000 per hour, but hid the info from you and only showed you the photos, you wouldn't be able to tell who's the super pricey fancy NYC date, and who's the lady offering her company at the going local rate. Remember a lot of what you see in photos has a lot to do with lighting, camera angles, and background setting. It's not hard to create an luxuious "money shot" in a photo, then slap a high sticker price on the model's time. Something to consider anyway. Have fun, whatever you decide.
  20. Thanks Miss Sparks. I might be just a little too old for this game, but maybe there are other ways I can play, who knows? One way or another, this business has always fascinated me, and if I can't work the front lines maybe I can do some good behind the scenes. We shall see, eh? xo
  21. Sugar said: "On the plus side, an association could be a great place to network, share ideas, and maybe even get new clients. I would like to see a 'passion party' type of business for escorts here in town. A private place to purchase work materials " There is so much untapped knowledge here. I just know it, reading these responses. I'm not in Tbay yet, but I've been communicating with another gold mine of beauty, experience, and insight in PMs. The Diva society is awesome. Inspiring. Jade, thanks for your willingness to initiate this. I'll be sending you a PM so that I can get on the bandwagon sometime today. These are great responses. Thanks everyone! xo
  22. I guess such an association would not help First Nations providers? I have this crazy fantasy about service providers making a difference in many disinfranchised groups if they were somehow able to come together, organize, and leverage some of that collective economic clout that would accrue as a result of coming together. But these views may be overly simplistic, as I am only gaining an introduction to all aspects of this lifestyle at this point. What happened to that young woman is a tragedy and like you, I hope the perp is brought to justice. I agree that it would be great if there were places that where service providers could get supplies and feel more comfortable doing it. I have been thinking that it might be interesting to get involved in the business from that angle. Thanks for your response. xo
  23. If there were a "perfect world" for a service provider, what would it be like? Are you constantly wishing products, services, or venues that would make your life easier were available? Is there a socio-political lobsidedness with respect to service providers that you believe can be righted? Is there an association for service providers in Thunder Bay? If so, how could it be better? If not, do you think there should be? Please be as detailed and imaginative as your heart desires and time permits. Can't wait to read the responses. xo.
  24. My next question as a trainee has to do with the demographics of clientele in the Thunder Bay area. My aim is to cater to an upscale market and I'm hoping to hear from those service workers who have knowlege and experience in this capacity.
