Good point, amazing how the human brain works when someone advertises a product at 69.99 and we somehow perceive that as cheaper than 70.00. Of course technically it is but over the years advertisers have used the .99 to make us think we were getting a better deal than we were.

Well, it's the end of the line for the penny. In some ways a sad day but you could also say it's about time. http://www.theprovince.com/news/Canada+penny+heads+into+retirement/7912245/story.html

Ethics - Outing a fellow hobbyist
fredsmith replied to theoldguy's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
As others have said, you took the job you should do what you were contracted to do. The fact that your part time job is electronic surveillance and it never crossed your mind that this might happen makes me question your question. Did you think it might be an interesting topic to discuss or are you really having this dilemma. -
Well I'm not sure what you base your opinion on with regards to the author of the post. I don't know either or your credentials. Either way I think everyone is saying that blowing into a woman's vagina is not a life threatening thing to do.
-
Interesting you would call it BS yet say it is technically possible. The Q&A he referenced was from the Cosmopolitan website. The part he omitted from his post was the fact that it was extremely unlikely ever to happen. For those who care to read the entire post. http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/advice/blow-air-in-vagina

Unless there was some kind of odor I wouldn't say anything :icon_wink:

I can't see why it would be in bad taste. It's a physical feature like all the others men prefer. Spinner, BBW, large breasts, small breasts, etc.

Exactly, I think pussy farts are awesome.

I was just trying to help too, if this is the best resource for NB then it makes sense to use it. I have read some information about BP ladies on this site too so maybe the OP should stick with CERB.
-
CERB is a great resource with lots of great ladies, but I would never recommend someone limit their interests to 1 website.

I understand what you're getting at. I will say I think WW2 is different than anything that happened after it. It was after all a world war, it had the horrible Holocaust and Hitler's attempt to take over the world. I think it was an American named Tom Brokaw who called them the "Greatest Generation". It's sad how war today doesn't really affect the average citizen, we see and hear about it but it doesn't really affect "us". Those of us who do not serve in the military or have a loved one who does serve are not affected by war today. So yes there have been wars and conflicts since WW2 but in my mind WW2 is in its own category.
-
I guess it's all a matter of opinion. When I think of the 40's I don't think of Cary Grant I think of the WW2 and the heroics of the many Canadians and other soldiers that fought in that war. My parents lived through the depression years and my father served during WW2. I'm not trying to be overly dramatic, hope it's not coming off that way.

Where do fetishes come from?

Although I totally agree with you, many would not. -
If I were you I would stay away from CL, period.

I never thought of a fetish as a negative term before. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_fetishism -
I don't want to jump on the bandwagon MC, but being a person who never likes to discuss my salary with ANYONE, if someone asked me this question I wouldn't like it. Unless you're in a union or the type of business where you know what a person makes based on their title or position in a company it isn't a question you should ask. You say you're a computer programmer, have you asked all your co-workers their take home pay? That you're new (as am I) and curious is totally understandable but this isn't something you should be learning now or here.

I appreciate your response Phaedrus, I would just add a couple of points. Yes, we're all adults here, we all have our preferences (maybe fetishes) what have you but I still think there are some of us that would like to keep somewhat anonymous. It's not about being embarrassed about what we like it's about keeping it private, yes in a public forum. To my knowledge I don't have any "weird fetishes" if there is such a thing, I just like to keep my stuff to myself. Also, maybe I don't want SP X to know that I've seen SP Y. Maybe or probably they don't care that I see both of them but I care that they know. I'm only trying to point out that there are a variety of reasons why guys don't post reco's. Of course some of us/them might just be too lazy to post them as well. All that said I thank the gentlemen who do post reco's, they are helpful to everyone.

Why do I not feel bad about this?
fredsmith replied to mister_crufty's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
I agree with CH one thing I would add to his list is when you pay for a date as long as you do your research you take the guesswork/stress out of the date, you should know what to expect as long as you are a gentleman. -
Fair comment, I will say like some ladies don't like to be reviewed/reco'd some guys don't like to write them, for different reasons. There are some very eloquent writers out there and I think it intimidates some guys because they don't think they are very good writers. But more so I think, and I could be wrong, some of us just don't like to have others know our "business", we'd like to see ladies but not advertise when or who we see. True it isn't fair to read and benefit from reco's and not write them but I confess I don't usually write them. Maybe to be fair I and others should think about contributing from time to time.

Why do you not feel bad about it? Because you're a Man baby yeaaa! Seriously, we need sex, it's in our DNA. Also, variety is the spice of life. As long as you control your hobby and your hobby does not control you I think you'll be ok. -
It seems the Winnipeg section has lots of interesting questions/discussions.
