  1. That sounds way too much like an ad and nothing like anything any guy I know would write.
  2. We celebrate mediocrity at the expense of celebrating the outstanding. At schools we have athletic contests where everyone gets a medal, everyone is a winner. Kids now expect applause for "good enough" or "trying". They are shielded from failure. Until the Vancouver games, Canadians (as a group, especially the CBC) were almost embarrased or ashamed if our athletes were too competitive. The phrase "Own The Podium" was controversial, people said we should not be too greedy for wanting to win. Bollocks to all that. Real life is all about competition! I work in a VERY competitive industry, my competitors are courting my customers constantly, if I screw up or my employees screw up my customers will walk away. Good enough is NOT good enough. We have to be better than the other guys in price, service, efficiency. That is real life. Canadian companies compete in a worldwide marketplace. I think events like the Olympics and Olympic success are desperately needed to get Canadians out of their comfort zone. If you are going to school, don't just pass, excel. If you work, don't just do what you can get away with, do your best. Even SPs are in constant competition, I am not paying for mediocrity when I can get excellence. If you are a fat slob lying on the sofa, don't wonder why your spouse is looking at other guys/girls. Get off the sofa and hit the gym. Excel in everything you do. Achievement is it's own reward. You get out of life what you put into it. If you don't want to put any effort into it you cannot complain when you don't get much out of it. Go Canada Go!
  3. Training Academy for many of Winnipeg's best including Jessica Rabbit. Closed at least 15 years ago, that area was scummy and really went downhill. Some may remember the time some Indian Posse kids robbed the place and the guys in it. On second thought I am surprised anyone does remember it.
  4. If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth. Pretty basic mantra for politicians.
  5. Well said Rubin. I finished the sentence but edited it out. Seriously, don't any of you guys have daughters or wives? Would you want some guy hitting on them? Show some respect! This is like watching the cheapo Winnipeg version of "Indecent Proposal". Instead of a million dollars it's twenty plus a gift card from Robin's Donuts.
  6. Favourite: Meeting really gorgeous women who do everything they can to entertain me, and not just sexually, but can hold a good conversation. Some of them have very interesting stories of their own, and have travelled way more than I ever will. Hate: It has made me kind of lazy as far as pursuing relationships with civilians. But that doesn't matter too much since I have a couple of retired --but still smoking hot--ladies as best friends. One weird thing...I do get all the satisfaction I could ever want from professionals. So I never chase anyone at work. A couple of my co-workers, both male and female, have hinted that they think I am gay because they never see me chasing any women or looking at the Sunshine Girl. Additional Comments: I would not say I want to meet if I didn't. I think it is a lot more rude to make false promises than to make no promises. Additional Comments: Absolutely, especially if I know she is usually on top of her game. You don't hit it out of the park every time you are at bat. But if someone has a very good batting average then I stick with them.
  7. She has an ad on Escorts-Canada, it's all there.
  8. I'm sure a lot more people look at backpage than look at review boards! The same old scammers have been on backpage, using the same stolen pictures, for years. They only get away with it because of the lack of knowledge on customer's part.
  9. I've had a couple of Bait+Switch incidents. I always leave. If someone is dishonest about pics then I wonder if something else is going on as well. One time I went to a ladies incall and her friend said the lady was not there...when she was upstairs waiting for me. Her friend said I could have a session with her, I said no thank and left. Next thing I know the lady I went there to see is calling me out for a no show. I should have tried phoning her when I was still at the door. Too late now. I've only had two thefts, both were my own stupidity. Had a lady visit my hotel room in Vancouver and then later noticed my Canon SLR was missing. Obviously shouldn't have left it lying out in the open. Also in Vancouver had a double. One girl excused herself and stole my wallet while the other distracted me. Again, I should have been more careful. Additional Comments: I honestly do not know. For now I think I could stick with the SPs that I know and feel I can trust. I might be very reluctant to see anyone new for a long time. I'd avoid anyone young or new like the plague. Too much chance of them rolling over.
  10. Lots of ladies prefer texts because they aren't always able to talk. Texting is more discreet if they are around other people. Re that ad site, I'd rank it below back page.
  11. Not only that, Swan repeats all of Joy Smith's bullcrap almost word for word. All prostitutes are addicts with mental health issues? I did not know that.
  12. Yes. Took me awhile to finally meet up with VJ but kick myself for not having done it years ago. Additional Comments: Disappointing of course but life goes on, there's always next time. And there are no guarantees in life. If you can't afford the odd mismatch or misfire you shoul;dn't be doing this. Additional Comments: Never. But I know a lot of guys who would benefit from it. I've seen lots of marriages fall apart because the sex wasn't happening, both end up angry at each other. If they could get satisfaction outside of their relationship they would stay together longer.
  13. Let's compare this to drug trafficking. Drugs=buyer is a victim and vendor is a criminal. Sex=buyer is a criminal and vendor is a victim. Additional Comments: There you have it. I know guys who can tell you the life story of every guy on the Winnipeg Jets but don't know their own city councillor or their Provincial MLA. But they whine about taxes, they whine about "those guys in Ottawa", they whine about potholes. Meanwhile they won'y get off their butt to go to a community meeting. Can't go, might miss reality TV.
  14. Blackberry Protect: if your phone is lost or stolen you can do a security wipe remotely. Other systems have similar apps as well. And always keep your phone locked.
  15. Favourite lady is sick in bed! Went over with her favourite cereal, milk and some chocolate milk.
  16. Winnipeg has too many gangbangers to run the risk of giving anyone access to your home. One time I wrote a bad review on the other board and the girl knew who I was...she told me she was going to have my house burned down. Arson is routine in gangs here. Not something to joke about.

Agree with Rassilon. No need to go out and buy another remote if you already have too many. I already had the remote for the receiver and it does everything fine. Most systems come with a similar remote that can be programmed to control TVs and other devices.
  18. Hardcore scammer, still using pics of Wanda Milano. Anyone who stubbornly sticks to using stolen pics doesn't inspire trust. Here's the actual Wanda Milano for comparison. http://myporngalaxy.com/cwhpictures/wandabluez/01.jpg "Elizabeth" will be back with a new name, new pics, and different phone number. That's just the way it is on backpage Winnipeg sadly.
  19. There is a basic difference in the way men and women think about sex. Women like to primp and preen and enjoy the anticipation. Guys get horny and want it now. No amount of rationalisation will bridge that gulf. I call to see if someone is available on short notice about once or twice a week. If so, fine, if not, I will just go do something else. I'm not annoyed or anything. At the same time I find it VERY difficult to make an appointment days in advance. Too much can happen, rough day at work, fatigue, not horny, mind elsewhere, whatever. As an older guy the urge comes infrequently and passes quickly. One minute I'm chomping at the bit, a couple of hours later I'm not even remotely interested. Kind of ironic/frustrating that I am at a stage in my life where I literally have more money than I know what to do with but I am almost never horny.
  20. Goes to facebook login page. No facebook for me thank you very much.

I have a Sony receiver. The remote for it can be programmed easily, it controls my receiver, BluRay player and TV. It certainly simplifies things.
  22. Just heard an interview with Joy Smith on CBC Radio regarding this. It may be replayed, or it may be on the CBC website. She sounds totally insincere and doesn't sound as if she knows anything about the issue. She very carefully chooses her words to toe the Tory Party line. I don't think she cares what is good or bad for women, prostitutes or customers. All she cares about is sticking to her speaking points. When the Tories do that it really makes me think they are dishonest and just out to get votes. Additional Comments: Harper keeps his caucus on a very short leash. I cannot imagine any bill not being vetted by the PMO whether private or not. Private member's bills are often used as a way to test reaction to new legislation. If it looks bad the government can distance themselves from it at minimal cost. Just try talking to an MP on any wedge issue and try to get them to contradict the party line. I've done it with Shelley Glover and Stephen Fletcher, yopu can poke holes in their arguments but they stick to them no matter what.
