With the news that Sweden is well on its way to a cashless society, is this our destiny as well? What ramifications would it have for this industry? But with plastic I need a bank account and all the associated fees, plus the retailer has to pay extra charges for accepting plastic too. If Canada goes cashless someday, I'm going to start a class action lawsuit to make it as free to use plastic as it is to use cash: totally feeless debit transactions. And what happens if there's a huge storm someday and the grid goes down for weeks at a time (remember the Quebec ice storm)? Or a huge EM pulse from the sun (remember the last huge solar storm which fried telegraph networks 100 or so years ago)? I've been noticing an abundance of ads on BP lately which seem too good to be true, and I'm wondering if it might be LE gearing up for the future? There could also be an opposite of a reference system: a 'collaborator list'. LE would have more successful prosecutions with the cooperation of SPs. If a SP gives you up to LE, post that SP on the Collaborator List as a warning to others. Seems kind of East German Stasi-ish though. It didn't occur to me that so many guys here could be affected by a criminal record. I suppose there are many jobs which a person could lose with a criminal record: lawyer, doctor, accountant, police (and yes, we know some of you coppers are just as guilty as us :P ). I'm lucky in a way because I am in charge of every aspect of my life (no wife, no boss, no professional association bullshit), with the CRA being the only people I might, 'might', listen to. lol

I'm a perpetual loner so I do not have issues with emotional intimacy, that and I have a really short attention span lol, so I can't offer any advice regarding that. But get over the idea that you are 'using' the provider.
