So should I see Mad Max: Fury Road in the theatre or wait it out for Netflix? Does Tom Hardy hold a candle to batshit crazy, alcoholic, chainsmoking Mel Gibson?

Screeching histrionics is such a turn off. I like science girls; mocking is so much more fun! -
Anything with a Mossberg 500 and a Lab with a duck in his mouth is a winner in my book.

Wow, Patrick's the bravest son of a bitch here! He puts us all to shame, that's for sure. Patrick, if anybody in Canada stands a chance going to court to fight for your right to party, and winning, it's you! Any offers coming in from constitutional lawyers yet? -
I'm tired of the growing anti-hetero male climate in Canada. There are the stupid little things like complaints about man-spreading and the vicious cries of 'sexist micro-aggressions' for things like holding doors open for women. Then there are the big things, like Bill C-36, which as we all know singularly criminalizes the hetero male, forcing us to pony up into committed relationshits in order to get some legal pussy, which often leads to cohabitation or marriage, which is a sure path to financial ruin via divorce court. I don't have a criminal record, and I don't see why I should risk getting one just because the government believes two consenting adults can't do what they want. I'm posting this so that policy makers, or at least policy enforcers, realize the effects of their actions. You are not going to stop me. I'll simply take my dollars to other countries which welcome and even cater to the hetero male. I'll be contributing to their economies, not yours. You may say, "fine, you're one person, who cares," but the fact is that western men are flocking to these places, and their numbers are growing. Short of taking away our passports, there is nothing you can do to stop us. Now, wouldn't it have been wiser to decriminalize prostitution and tax it? Your loss, Canada.

The Chebucto Inn has a fair nightly rate...it's up to you how long you stay. I think it's like $79 or something; its decor is dated but not half-bad. The resto there has great meals at great prices. As was mentioned, if you do find a place which charges by the hour, expect free bedbugs. You could try offering a $50 bill to an owner/operator or a crooked manager and they might accept and put it in their pocket; the Wedgewood Motel in Bedford comes to mind. I can't see why they would though, because they would have to clean up after you leave and why bother for $50 when they can get $80+ for an overnighter? $50 is nothin. Halifax isn't Montreal. lol I just checked out the Commons Inn. Looks cool. Was that the King Edward Inn at one time? An hourly suite might be a great business idea for Halifax. Anybody got a bachelor suite we can put on airbnb? lol

Cams can be great fun! I've got a couple offers to meet up with camgirls in Medellin. Gotta die sometime I guess. -
Try pan-toasting some sesame seeds and tossing them into the processor with your fave hummus recipe....you'll never buy again. Have you tried baba ganoush? I can't decide which is my fave dip, but it's one or the other. BG takes more time to make as you have to roast the eggplant.

Wow indeed. lol Good for him if it makes him happier.

"Only know you love her when you let her go." Ha ha, it should be, "I respect myself so I let her go. Ddo I miss her? NO HELL NO!" Speaking of passenger, Siouxsie & The Banshees - The Passenger -
I don't think anybody who's addicted to their smartphone 24/7 is happy. If they don't get an IM, a tweet, a like, or whatever every 30 seconds, they're wondering, "what's wrong with me?!". Some people are addicted to selfies and, jesus christ, how many damn pics of yourself can you take each day?! Yet they post them hoping the "likes" and "shares" and "retweets" roll in. At least with computers you step away from them for periods of time, but smartphones are with you 24/7. I've been eating/drinking with people who get a fucking message and say, "I have to reply to this!" "UMMM, NO YOU DON'T! Sorry to say it, but you're not that fucking important." The next time somebody does this to me, if I'm drunk enough, I'm grabbing their phone from their hand and stomping it into digital mulch. The sad truth is that if your phone went dead, if your social media posts stopped, it would make no real difference to anybody's life. Actually, it's not a sad truth at all; it's a happy truth! The world will keep turning without you. The net will keep blinking without you. That's a hard thing for the selfie narcissists to grasp. I have a feeling that the people who are living life are much happier than the people who are posting life. I shan't be posting pics of the lobster I'm about to boil.

Women are buying more sex than ever before, new research claims The more women who buy sex, the less stigma for us all. Makes me wonder though, will women be charged as well as men if caught, or will they get off on their PP?

Ewwww, chainstore hummus? A food processor and 15 minutes and you'll never eat store-bought again!

N.S. men charged with u drag Prostitution after investigation
oldblueeyez replied to Meaghan McLeod's topic in In the news
Good to see police devote their resources to the festering, ugly, inhuman underbelly of this industry, which gives us all a bad rap. Human traffickers, especially of the underaged, should receive penalties similar to murder, for they indeed deaden the lives of many. Fuckers should be hanged to rot at Hangman's Beach on McNab's Island. No better than crow's feed they are. Maggots to be squashed without a second thought. -
Fuck. I am so sorry.

Consent in the Industry
oldblueeyez replied to Midnite-Energies's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
As far as client consent goes, I've pretty well let the ladies do anything they want with me and most of it was frickin' awesome! Who knew I liked my Butter Finger battered? As for consent in the civilian world? I pity the young men out there. It's part of the reason MGTOW is rising fast. Video games and porn is much safer. Any man in his right mind won't pick up at a bar or engage in any scenario where a female has indulged in alcohol or drugs; what's mutual passion at night is sexual assault the next day, seemingly fueled by a desire for social media sympathy and attention. Talk about Munchausen. -
Sometimes the castles we build imprison us. If you think the people in your social circles would judge you harshly then maybe it's time to make some new friends. Yet I wouldn't doubt each and every one of them has been affected by 'mental illness' in some way or another. At the very least, should you tell them, you'd find out who your true friends are, and you should consider the rest of them unworthy of your friendship. I sincerely hope your loss wasn't a son or daughter; I don't have many fears in life anymore but that is my greatest one. I'd be crushed and it would take a long, long time to start feeling myself again, if ever. After the end of a relationship years ago I was in a deep funk. Anti-depressants were all the rage (moreso now I guess) and my doc gave me a scrip for one. I've been on a moderate dose ever since and I've been satisfied with the results. I come from a long line of hillbillies-at-heart who buck the system every chance we get and even manage to make some money while doing so. I am very far removed from prim'n'proper networking and schmoozing and I congratulate anybody who can tolerate it. But keeping up false appearances can wear upon a man's soul: the false smiles; the mindless chitchat; the absurd bragging. I find that the realest, the most genuine people are the ones at the lower tiers of society. Maybe volunteering at a place that provides meals for the homeless would help? Volunteering to work at a Salvation Army Thrift Shop? I'm thinking about volunteering at a Sally Anne Thriftshop, partly for social reasons. I lost a person who was dear to me a long, long time ago. This person asked me to join in on a pubcrawl but I decined. I would never have left this person's side while partying, but others did and death was the result (this person was quite a nerd and very inexperienced in getting loaded drunk). I blamed myself for a long time, but it was not my fault. I still remember being begged to join the pubcrawl. It was a lovely and sunny Friday afternoon in downtown Halifax. At any other time I'd have been up for it, but I had a train to catch, a train back home. Life is a runaway train, picking up speed as we race the rails. It can't be stopped. All we can do is switch tracks; left, right; it doesn't matter. Sooner or later we run out of track, and the length of that track is in the hands of The Layer.
