Hi! I am thrilled to announce my very first visit to Calgary! I will be available from Aug 10th-12 (relative to check-in/check-out times) I have not yet booked my hotel as I am open to suggestion of which area of Calgary is most convenient to you (ie Downtown vs Airport vs some area Ive never heard of :-P) One thing's for sure, I always book upscale locations that are discreet, smoke-free with ample parking available. During my visit, both day time and evening sessions are available. Urgh good Gawd! Last night I watched Cop Car and it was just...embarrassing! I want my life back! Over an hour was stolen from me! I figured if Kevin Bacon was in it, itd be of a certain level... when I saw he was executive producer, I was excited... I kept waiting for something to happen. I'm still exhausted. Terrible! The ending was fittingly exasperating!

Do the haunted walk and check what the museum of nature has going on right now. The Byward Market is always worth walking around in summer, you can grab a beaver tail (an amazing sweet treat that is served out of a kiosk of the same name) and munch it as you check stuff out. Parliament is beautiful at night when they do the light show. There are various festivals depending when you are here. If u are mobile I would definitely recommend taking a short road trip to Chelsea (on the Quebec side) to Nordic Spa. For the price of a simple massage downtown you will have not only a great massage but access to their incredible outdoor baths, steam rooms and saunas. And for just a bit more I highly recommend their underground salt bath..i think they call it kala. Nordic spa is by far the best spa Ive ever been to and the price is definitely right for what you get. I suggest booking an early morning massage so that you have the entire day to enjoy the spa. Its open until 10pm and is located beautifully in a mountainous, wooded area. I would also advise bringing a lunch and snacks with you as the food their isn't everyones cup of tea and is quite over-priced. Don't bring the food in, just eat it in your car. Selection is very limited and the options are very bohemian-kumbaya. One of those you'll either love it or ate it. Theres also Calypso waterpark a 30min drive east of Ottawa. Oh thre is also a zip-line obstacle course thing somewhere nearby (sorry I cant recall where exactly as it was a few years ago) and the same site also has bat cave tours. No matter how hot it is, you'll want to bring a jacket along bcuz those caves get cold. Hope this helps, sorry if I repeated anything others said. Have fun!

There was a different site that asked for photo verification holding a piece of paper with a specific thing written on it along with your SP name... what I did was I held the paper in front of my face and I wore the same outfit I had on in some of my pix. I sent it to them along with a msg saying I am not willing to show my face and I'm certainly not willing to send a pic of my drivers license. I also offer to send more pix of me wearing other things I have on in pix... They accepted it. It wasn't eros as I find them to be a rip off..Im sorry Id have to check my records to see which site it was. I'm with you, I would never do that as even if the site never uses it against you, a hacker can! To each their own but I feel its better safe than sorry. Good luck hon.

Hi Calgarians! Doesn't seem too active here so I'm wondering if anyone will read this... none-the-less; I am going to be visiting your fine city for the very first time and I find myself loaded with questions lol. I am going to be available for about 2 days of my visit and I don't mind changing locations to best accommodate those who wish to visit me. I am wondering what the best area of Calgary is most convenient for you. Downtown? Near the Airport? Either is very convenient because I of course will be heading to the airport when I'm ready to go home but I'm spending my personal time downtown. So either area works for me. Perhaps is there another location that is better? Parking is of course important. In terms of my personal time in Calgary, what would u as residence say are the must-sees of Calgary (I'm visiting in early Aug so I will miss the stampede and its also not really my thing). I know that I'm visiting your local zoo and also taking a nice drive to Banff which is one of the few parts of AL that Ive been to before. I cant wait! Any and all pointers are welcome. Have u noticed the curse of the 3rd sequel? Great series where th 3rd was awful and ones that continued to 4 often improved from three.. heres a short list Halloween 3 (had nothing to do with the series at all. First off, I am so sorry you have had to deal with this. It sounds like you now know but ALWAYS keep any bad msgs. For one thing if its a private message sent to you here, you can forward just one of these to mod and the person will be disciplined or blocked depending what it is. Furthermore, if you choose to press charges, (I don't know the details of this but) the more evidence u have, the better. The easiest way to contact mod is to go to click on USER CP at the top left corner of any lyla page. Look to the panel on the left and find 'Send Message' Then in the box where you write the recipient's name, simply type the word mod and write your msg. It will get to him and only him. He is very very trustworthy and loyal. I encourage you to PM me too and I will tell you a few more things. Stay safe hon. xoxo

As usual a great post by Meaghan! This is so tragic. My heart breaks for this guy and I applaud him for over-coming all his fear and facing the backlash that would surely follow his coming forward. I bet this wasn't the first time this bitch has dealt with problems in this manner. What a reprehensible human! Who knows how many victims she has who haven't come forward! I hope they find the courage to do so now that another has. Its often the way. And the OP is right, this sort of thing causes irrevocable harm to all of us, SPs and hobbyists alike. I really hope the victim is ok and that his friends, co-workers/partners and family show him empathy, compassion and support rather than focus on how horrible it was for him to be in there... in other words, for being a normal human. The entire audience CRACKED UP LAUGHING and the heckling commenced LOL Both the worse and best movie Ive ever seen! I'm sorry but I blocked the title from memory. Also I cant believe I didn't say this one yet. Harry Potter 3 Prisoner of Azkaban!!! Simply horrible slap stick humor and decided to omit crucial plot points of the book and replacing it with the stupidest low brow jokes known to mankind! HORRIBLE!
