As usual a great post by Meaghan! This is so tragic. My heart breaks for this guy and I applaud him for over-coming all his fear and facing the backlash that would surely follow his coming forward. I bet this wasn't the first time this bitch has dealt with problems in this manner. What a reprehensible human! Who knows how many victims she has who haven't come forward! I hope they find the courage to do so now that another has. Its often the way. And the OP is right, this sort of thing causes irrevocable harm to all of us, SPs and hobbyists alike. I really hope the victim is ok and that his friends, co-workers/partners and family show him empathy, compassion and support rather than focus on how horrible it was for him to be in there... in other words, for being a normal human. I really hope he gets through this trauma, stronger than ever. Often, when women rape, they are far more brutal and sadistic than male rapes. Esp as objects are used. :-( Be safe everyone! xoxo

Horrible Movies Let's Save Eachother Time!

No flak here, its in the rules, u r entitled to your opinion. Besides I agree! lol Except (good) Funny People (a serious role he played in a Drama/Comedy) and I did like Happy Gilmore. The rest is total tripe IMO Though I didn't see the one you mentioned. I also must 3rd the submitting of Cell. So Dumb! Oh oh oh and Alexander with Angelina Jolie was insanely bad! I didn't make it through. There was another movie I saw in theatre that was so bad the audience started to actually HECKLE! The best was the first one..in the movie a wizard is speaking to a knight and says, "I can see the future and what I see is..." and during the pause a guy yelled out "A FUCKING REFUND!!!" The entire audience CRACKED UP LAUGHING and the heckling commenced LOL Both the worse and best movie Ive ever seen! I'm sorry but I blocked the title from memory. Also I cant believe I didn't say this one yet. Harry Potter 3 Prisoner of Azkaban!!! Simply horrible slap stick humor and decided to omit crucial plot points of the book and replacing it with the stupidest low brow jokes known to mankind! HORRIBLE! -
despite nonsensical sentences :-P

Correction: In my OP I said 'Ottawa was a section on the T-board' but it should read, 'Ottawa HAS a section'...stupid fingers! Yeah I know lyla is nationwide while others are more focused on specific areas, but I don't know, if I were a client Id want nationwide access given that so many girls travel. I also get the fact that they are review boards whereas this is strictly recommendation (plus I know the censors resulted in many users ditching lyla all together which is unfortunate) but from what Ive noticed of Ottawa gents is that they use both. The T-board has an Ottawa section allowing the a spot to report unhappy times but they use lyla to see who are the best. Sort of a both extremes of the spectrum to take in on who is who. I just don't understand why TO seems so much more inactive than other areas that have their own boards. (Montreal as well, although this maybe due to language.) Not that I travel all that much yet, but from what I see it seems areas with their own boards still have active lyla sections... Maybe because the P-board isn't specific to just one city but several and that's the dif? Same with M-board covering the maritimes as well but is specific to Mtl, and the T-board covering Ottawa but is specific to TO. *shrug* personally I would use both in selecting an SP. Oh well. C'est la vie. Thanks for your input beautiful! Additional Comments: I totally agree with u about the spirit of this board. I recon the best way to encourage activity is for those of us who are still on it, to continue using it. When I was in GTA I was posting here too and I didn't have to renew my ad because there were so few for GTA. I think its reciprocal to an extent. Newcomer hobbyists visit and see that there are barely any ads and very few posts of any kind and eventually don't return. Maybe if the few of us around were more active, it would attract new comers and may win back those who left? I'm going to always post on lyla for any city I'm in, active or not. Not only in hopes that it will help revive it but also because it is well worth it. When I was in GtA I was staying by the airport. I got contacted by someone from out east who only knows lyla and had never heard of the T-board. Had I 'not bothered' (sounds so harsh, hence the quotes lol) to post, I would've never met a wonderful person. I'm really hoping the more who use it the more will and I think it starts with the SPs. If there are no ads, the gents don't have much cause to check it out or post reccos.. they'd be posting reccos of ladies who don't advertise here or aren't even members. Thanks for your insight! Additional Comments: Perhaps its up to us to not only post in these regions but even go as far as to mention this board to those we meet? Meaning gents we book when in these cities as well as fellow SPs we speak to on twitter or the other boards... I think I'll start doing that. Every bit helps right? The point about lyla having a free advertising option is a good one! The other boards are ridiculously expensive for short periods of time (actually..in fairness many sites are far worse) The fact that its free should have SPs from EVERY city posting here.. which is why I was so surprised to see barely any ads for TO on here. I don't know if SPs just don't know about it or if they see its inactive and don't bother...making the inactivity reciprocal as u say, around it goes again. Le Sigh... Additional Comments: I'm glad u mentioned this as it confirms what I thought of above in reply to another's post. I think u r right. I think its up to the SPs to make the section more active mention it to those they meet or talk to (hobbyists and other SPs alike) and the gents would follow. The other areas do have sections on the T, M and P boards and they are very active as well as lyla.. well the Ottawa section in T board is at least, I don't know about the others. Hmmm seems we may have found a solution here by putting our heads together! Thanks everyone! Hopefully, we can change this and make lyla truly be nationwide. :-) So I guess the lesson here is we SPs need to bump up Lyla's prevalence in these cities by posting in their sections and telling locals about this fantastic place we know of. Thanks to all of u who contributed. U all had great insight and If theres any more, pls keep sharing. We need all the help we can get! lol

Hi! Excited to be in Ottawa from tomorrow (Wed 22nd) until Saturday 25th at noon. The following week I will be available from the 28th-30th or 1st (according to check-in checkout times) I'll be staying at the foot of downtown and as always, it is a discreet, smoke-free location with ample street and lot parking available. During my visit, both day time and night sessions are available. (Late night visits by advance booking only, unless we already know each other.) Also, I'm an early bird so don't be shy if early mornings are a good time for you (some advance notice needed (2hrs if very early), unless PJs, bleary eyes and a teddy bear being dragged by his paw is your thing) It never hurts to ask though =-) For those of you I have yet the pleasure of meeting, here's a bit more about myself. I'm someone who is open-minded & enjoys romance as well as the wild loss of control where chemistry causes a lack of inhibitions and even for those who are more daring... the darker world of fetish, bdsm, role playing & domination etc. I'm a slim & athletic but curvy 5'7, (5'11 with heels) 36D 24 34 with long dark hair (Pls note my hair is now shorter than in the photos, although still long. I think versatility is the spice of life. So I can be soft and delicate, wild and eager to please, impish and Fun or assertive, domineering and nasty. I'm a passionate person and not afraid to dive deep into someone I am with.. So don't be shy to tell me what mood you are in and I can tap into that part of my psyche and have a great time doing it. =) I LOVE getting all dressed up and requests are more than welcome. I have a vast array of outfits, (school girl, sexy stripper, romantic lingerie & domina (PVC,Latex etc), regular/secretary) as well as tools for the more daring of adventurers. I aim to please because I want to see you again when I next visit. Chez moi $240h $160hh (multiple hours work on declining scale. For those who are interested in such ventures; I am very well versed in this world and have a great selection of equipment/toys/attire etc. As for fetishes, many have been surprised that I was the one girl who actually heard of "it" before. =) To see what others have to say about the time they've spent with me, please check out my recos via the link below. http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=53018 And don't forget you can check out my profile for pics and a bit more about me. Thank you OP for making this thread. From now on, when I travel I will use this as a ref to see whats nearby that one should check out! Places I've been I would say are must-sees. When I was a child I spent 3 weeks in the Canadian Rockies (AL side)... Castle mountain specifically, which earns its moniker by looking like a windowless castle. Everyone should have this experience! Of course Ottawa ON! Every Canadian NEEDS TO visit the nation's capital! There's way too much to list here. The people are incredible. It has everything you'd want in a big city, with a small town mentality, in terms of friendliness and common respect. Best of both worlds. Montreal QCfor its European flavor and its extreme sexual-liberation. It also has a TON of history, beautiful architecture, fire-work contests twice a week in the summer, the finalles of which literally light up the sky so it seems day-time for a few seconds while also making you feel like you are in a war-zone, and an amusement part 5min from downtown! Niagara Falls ON One of my favorite places to visit!!! Not only is the strip like a mini Las Vegas but the falls themselves are breath taking. Id recommend buying one of the packages that includes a ride of The Maid of The Mist (They changed the boat motors and get you extremely close to the falls. Not for the faint of heart! The Journey Behind the Falls (caves that are behind the falls themselves) The Niagara Rapids (Highest class of Rapids in the world. No one is allowed to navigate them and with between 5-18ft rapids, you can see why) which also includes a visit to the Niagara Whirlpool which is responsible for creating the falls a mere 6000 yrs ago! This is one of the many fascinating things you will learn if you are kind enough to yourself to read the little plaques. Its really incredible! On the strip go to Ripley's Believe It Or Not PS. When paying for ANYTHING in this region (and it often follows you to Mississuaga and even TO) beware of the 'Tourist's Bullsh*t Tax'!!! Not its official name but it should be. Its an optional tax that they tack on to everything whether its an activity, a hotel stay, a museum or a bloody ice cap at Tim's! They aren't allowed to point it out or volunteer the info that it IS in fact optional. Don't fall for it! You have to asked for it to be removed from the bill. Usually they will do so happily. If they fight you, ask for the manager. But most are aware it is optional and the person has every right not to pay it. Places I want to go. Someone I knew went to Fort MacMurry AL for work and told me about the amazing northern lights there. I am dying to go! I was actually planning a trip out there, you know via lyla, but given the recent tragedies I think I will give Fort Mac some healing time before I go to have my breath taken away. Cape Breton NS. A friend of mine moved out there and sent me photo after photo after photo of this amazing, naturally gorgeous part of our country. I am finally going to visit late Aug/early Sept. That's the aim anyway. Okanogan Valley. A couple I know went there for their anniversary. They said it was like being in the southern states. Desert, oasis, even rattle snakes. I can do without the snake bites, I'm just emphasizing how the climate there differs so much from the rest of Canada. Finally, I would love to visit the most northern part of Canada. Id love to witness the steep curve of the planet first hand by watching the sun skim humbly along the horizon. I'm a nut for astronomy so Id find the experience very interesting. Plus... those northern lights! I was actually lucky enough to see them once north of Saskatoon. There are no words! I can only imagine the intensity further north!!! I'm visiting Calgary this Aug so when I return, I'll (hopefully) add it to this list of must see. Additional Comments: Oh MAN! I second this!!! I should've included it! I would especially recommend paying the extra money to use the underground salt bath. Its filled with more salt than the Dead Sea (along with other minerals and oils.. the salt is Epsom rather than sea-salt and for those who don't know, Epsom is used by athletes, dancers, recommended by Sports-Medicine Drs, Physio-Therapists and RMTs to bathe in for sore muscles and its works like a charm!) as you float around (use the pillows provided for optimal comfort) your ears under the water, you hear wonderful relaxing music from the under-water speakers. As u float around, different vents you pass under provide a different breeze at different temps, taking you on this crazy physical/spiritual journey. (sorry to sound all Kumbaya but its true!) I can go on and on about the other great features but I actually don't have the time at the moment. TRUST ME!!! GO!!! I've been about 5 times and I'm always dying to go back! Simply amazing! Thanks for mentioning this Summer! Good call! Man am I ever over-due for a visit. I highly recommend going in winter for the full experience! Oh and definitely book a massage first. What incredible is the price. A package that includes the massage and all day access to the baths (until 10pm I believe) is the same price as a regular massage from a RMT in downtown Ottawa. It is WELL worth the trip!!!! The salt-bath is half price is you add it to the package. I recommend bringing your own food and eating it in the car though. The food was expensive and, well maybe I ordered the wrong thing but, I wasn't impressed with the meal. Groan! Thanks a lot Summer! Now I wont be happy til I'm there again! LOL

I think these two should be 1 and 2, not because I am arrogant, has nothing to do with me, I just feel these two are the most important and are the two things I feel most grateful for. The third is also great. 104. Mod was mentioned but I wish to elaborate. For making this site and the INSANE amount of work he does to keep this place legit, clean, respectful, respectable and safe. For all the crap he has to eat daily from dumb-dumbs and the fact that he doesn't just say, 'F-it!' and tear it down. Any time I write to mod (which I try to avoid, given how busy he is) I always sign off with a 'thank you for everything you do'. I really think all of us should take a moment every now and then to show Mod how much we appreciate him and all he does. 105. For keeping us all (Hobbyists and SPs alike) SAFE! This site is an incredible resource for both sides of the industry. I'm not going to list how, we all know. The safety this site offers us via Mod's maintenance and constant vigilance and the info we can all exchange, is INVALUABLE! 106. Offering EVERYONE, SPs and Hobbyists alike, this amazing resource for FREE. If that weren't enough, there are options for indie SPs to advertise for free if they choose! I've been here a while but... it still boggles my mind. Free options dont have to exist. The norm is, you pay for everything.... yet none-the-less, Mod maintains this option. Thank you for everything you do Mod! Have a great day everyone! xoxo

What's the latest movie you saw that you wish you hadn't? Was it so bad it invoked the urge to sue the producers, director and screen-play writers for the time you lost in your life? The only rule is to be nice and respect each-others (umm is it each-others'? or each others'?) opinion. If someone lists a movie you love, sure, say so, but they are entitled to their opinion as you are to yours. So no bashing or shaming please. Although, we are all too classy here on Lyla for such non-sense anyway. ;-) I'll start it off with these two doozies; Bone Tomahawk and Monkey's Paw
