  1. I agree that a deposit should be mandatory in atypical situations such as GBs where a minimum number of individuals are required. Thus if the event is canceled, the deposit would be fully refundable or carried forward to a future event.
  2. Then the best way I assume would be to have interested members make a deposit then when you have your target you can proceed with your event that way you can be assured the number of turn outs on target.
  3. My first real job was as a nanny for a friend of my mother. I looked after three very young children, one I practically raised from six months old to age three. I spent ten hours a day with these kids 5 days a week-cooking for them and cleaning up after them, and walking the the five year old to the bus stop and making sure she got on and then meeting her when the bus dropped her off to see that she made it home safely. The littlest one, truly stole my heart when she asked me if I was her other mommy. Someone had the nerve to tell me that was not a real job. When I pointed out how many hours a week I spent with these kids plus cleaning the house they lived in because their parents were complete slobs and left dishes in the sink long enough for mold to grow...it shut them up. Just a little FYI for those who like to treat food workers poorly...these people are alone with your drinks and food...think about that. I was a waitress for five years-and I saw some pretty gross stuff-one waitress spit in this guys drink because he called her a stupid b**ch because she asked him to repeat his order. I don't condone that at all....but you know it happens everywhere. So....mind your manners or drink some spit, lol.
  4. hosting a GB event is easier said than done. Not everyone is comfortable with a group setting which means one would have to target the "lifestyle community " which based on experience they would seldom pay for such an event. The 2nd point I would like to stress is that the "no show" which is very common and anyone who has hosted one such event would know that 100 persons say they will attend and on the day for the event one or 2 shows up.Which means one would have collect the fees way before the event and have a minimum of 6 to hold such an event. So to make a long story short hosting such an event by an SP is stress..
  5. I cannot stand it when people say things like, "He's such an idiot...he probably works at such and such fast food place who sells Burgers." Now I don't work at that particular Fast Food Place, (instead I chose to be an SP) and I never have, but you can bet your rear end that if I were in a tight spot and I had a family to support that I wouldn't look down my nose at a job like that. People in service jobs don't get enough credit, and it's like some people feel the need to make others with those kinds of job feel shame and that isn't fair. A job is a job, and if that person shows up every day and performs at that job, then that deserves respect. Working at a fast food restaurant or being a waitress or cashier or even a SP as I am - may not be as glamorous as being a doctor or a lawyer, but a doctor's money is no better than the money of a blue collar worker. There may be more of it in a doctor's pocket, but it's the value of each dollar is still the same. It irks me when I am in the checkout line at a store, standing behind someone who feels they can treat the cashier like garbage just because they can. I am on of those people who will say something, because I can't be fired for telling off the Moran and I am sure the poor girl behind the register appreciates it since she is unable to say anything in her defense at the risk of becoming unemployed. Yesterday, while waiting in line, I watched as the cashier greeted a man with a smile and he didn't even look at her or say anything, just literally tossed his items on the counter in front of her. She rung him up, he paid and grabbed his items and snatched another plastic bag from the rack as if he was irritated-if had liked something double bagged all he had to do was ask-and when the girl said, "Thanks, have a good evening." he just turned and walked off. I said, "You're welcome!" real loud and obnoxiously and he turned around and glared at me as I smiled all bright. He didn't say anything...I guess his evil stare was supposed to frighten me or something...hardly, I could have so taken him
  6. Has this happen to you? While having sex, dirty talking going back and forth and then somebody goes too far, says something that ruins the mood and its OVER!
  7. We actually have a Very Preggo Sp at Secret Silhouettes :-)
  8. I am still giddy from yesterday. It's nice to be around men... who enjoy being around a curvy woman. I do however have a REALLY hard time taking compliments. I always say yeah yeah, or hush, or what ever. I have been getting better (since I became an SP two months ago) to where I can say "thank you" and not follow it up with a snarky comment. However..... Do compliments have less meaning to you if they are just silly things like.. "I want to motorboat you" translates to nice boobs You have beautiful eyes. (really? you havent looked at them once dude) on the other hand... You are amazing You are stunning things like that just make me melt. While they are all compliments, some feel more heartfelt.... have more meaning behind them. is it just me? What do you like to hear?

  10. I listen to a podcast. I'm not mentioning which one. But one of the women on the podcast mentioned in one episode that she never masturbates and that she never has. What do you think about that? Do you think it's normal? I believe in her case, it's mostly religious programming. :butt: Why else would not not once try to rub one out?
  11. Why is it so hard to look at your own body in an objective way? Most people always apply a certain standard when their look in the mirror. This standard is influenced by the media. But I don't think this fact can fully explain our behavior. Even without the media telling us to loose weight or be ultra-slim, we would still create standards for ourselves. We would use the mental image of a woman or man we once saw at the beach and turn it into our comparison standard. I guess it's a person's way of expressing him- or herself. It's in our nature to be ambitious. And it's our unconscious way of improving our self, because we hardly ever choose an unwanted and unhealthy lifestyle as our goal. It's an ongoing spiral, though. People have plastic surgery, get a body part fixed, build up muscle mass, or loose body fat... but only very few people can see and accept their improved selves afterwards. It's not right to blame everything on the media. Individuals usually want to belong to a crowd of other people. It looks like nature has given us the burden of constantly being unsatisfied as a way to improve ourselves.
  12. This is not a post about who does "sexting and camming". This is a serious discussion regarding ownership of photos/video from it. When one person sends the sexy picture over to the next person, is there a transfer of ownership? Does the other person now have the right to distribute that photo? When a person is "camming" to another person, does that person have the right to record it and then distribute it as they please? It is something that has always been nagging on my mind lately. I keep seeing these "my girlfriend/ my wife" pictures from men but I really wonder if it is just a person they are sexting/camming with. For me this is the main reason why I don't sext or cam- because of the ownership liability. Ideas? Thoughts?
  13. Why do we live in a society where we pay more attention and give more notoriety to the people who commit crimes of murder and other unspeakable acts more than the people they have done it against? Look at the news or read the paper...it's all about book deals or movies of the week or whatever publicity these people get. Very sad that if I chose for instance to do something for example...in the end people would remember me more than the person I did it to. Where are the CBC specials for the victims...where are their book deals or movie scripts...where is their publicity? Maybe if we spent more time punishing the perpetrator and not glamourizing them ....then maybe criminals would be held more accountable for their actions...not given a book deal for it.
  14. ..but what the heck... I find a man much sexier if I can see his face and look into his eyes, his bits are nothing compared to what he's got on top... Am I the only one who really ain't too fussed about seeing a guy's tackle in photos? I always prefer a hint of what is to come than the whole shebang (until I can see his pleasure is for me alone, if you know what I mean:bddog: Pictures dont turn me on half as much as words... What do you think?
  15. So I was talking to one of my best friends the other day.. she has a PHD in some stuff I dn't care much about so she figured we are all morons to her. lol... She's into that Brain Surgeon/Rocket Scientist type. Like with actual Intelligence and stuff. ANYWAY! She was curious about dating a guy with slightly above average to average intelligence...so, I told her it's more about being able to hold a conversation with him, for me personally it's not about building a rocket out of household appliances that's capable of making it to the moon, or curing aids with the mold growing on your cheese in the refrigerator. I like guys who have a few brain cells to spare, so if you're that type of guy, I'm going to be attracted to that. 2 guys can have the same IQ, but have a different ability to carry on a conversation that goes beyond Hockey and micro brews. She wasn't with it though, How about you?
  16. Ok, This is the scenario, I usually walk to my "regular" day time Job - not too far from where I live. I'd stopped at a set of lights and a hot athletic looking guy popped up from around the corner....He was looking really fine this morning let me tell you! Now I have on a sunglasses, so I think I don't look very approachable:cooter: As soon as he came round the corner I wanted to tell him how hot he was looking with no intention of flirting or chatting him up.....but 200meters down the road I was kicking myself for not just blurting it out! What is the best way of stopping someone on the street and saying " hello, may I tell you, you look hot!" without sounding desperate (or that is the impression I think I'd give off)? I am not looking for "chatup" lines or anything like that, just trying to avoid that "are you that desperate kinna stare"
  17. I was reading one of these university journals which said that If you sleep less than 5 hours a day or less, you have a 50% likelihood of being obese. Sounds very weird, though. Somebody who sleeps less than 5 hours a day is probably a very busy and therefore active person. Do you sleep less than the average? Do you see it being connected to being overweight?
  18. Why do men like to hear measurements like weights, bra sizes etc.? What is it that turns them on about it? I mean, I can understand a guy hearing me say 42 G and getting excited, but when I throw out my hip and waist measurements in inches (if I even knew them!)...what does that do for y'all? (Wendy)
  19. Kimberly there is no way at all that a photographer can shoot a BBW and A spinner the same way - The body is different and in trying to do so the results would be different. As I said in the Original Post I am not a photographer i am merely speaking based on years of doing BBW modeling and any Plus Size woman who have done a few photo shoots would know that posing and body placement including having confidence makes a big difference.
