Tom was definitely a character here. The was something about his presence here on this board that made everything seem mellow. While I have never negotiated with a lady as I do agree with Christy that this hobby is a "privileged" one in the sense that it is not financially feasible for everyone, I can understand why some feel the need to negotiate. Financial hardship. But by the same token, if it is just not doable for you, then why put yourself under more strain? A suggestion that is a win win for all parties is, instead of booking for this amount of time that you cannot afford, book for an alotted time frame that you can afford.
