How open minded are you?
mrrnice2 replied to Meaghan McLeod's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Wow Meaghan. What an amazing thread. It raises so many things that I don't know where to start. I generally am very politically correct in what I say or present to others. That does not mean that I feel that way in my heart in many circumstances. There have been a couple of very recent threads on Cerb that I have not replied to because I would present a point of view that is quite different from what is "expected." If I can get my words together I may do so yet. Being open to new experiences for oneself is one thing and respecting others and their choices can be an altogether different thing. I am very confident that over these many years when I heard of, "this or that," I thought to myself, "Nope, that's not for me," I don't think I would ever have judged others or felt that what someone else did was any of my concern. That is said of course with the understanding that the obvious no no's are not included in that statement - violence, pedophilia, etc. For things of that nature I have no tolerance. With regards to the sample comments that Meagan made I know that I would respond or try to educate whomever said them in whatever minimal way I could if it were a private conversation with someone that I know. If it were in a group situation then I would do the easy thing and say nothing and walk away. Probably not right, but that would be me. For the vast majority of my life I would certainly be called vanilla. As I have written about here several years ago, I was one of the lucky ones, with an amazing wife, having a true best friend in her and with her being my one and only soul mate. We talked, and we fantasized but beyond that it never went anywhere with others or outside the very traditional norms and social boundaries, primarily because she was concerned that it would mess things up between she and I. Who knows as she may have very well been correct. She was a really intelligent woman. Following her death I discovered escorts through Cerb and again as I have written about previously, the myths and the stereotypes were very quickly blown out of the water. I have used this previously unavailable opportunity (by choice) to, "explore," and still on a very basic level I have had amazing involvements with various women, of all ages, sizes, shapes and most interestingly, of such varied opinions and experiences. I have learned about, through conversation, lesbianism, bisexuality, polyamourous relationships, open relationships, sex workers rights, and many other things that I knew little or nothing about. I have consciously sought out some women that are in many ways the exact opposite of me and certainly of my experience over the years. Tattoos have even become a drawing card! I have had several MFF encounters which were amazing. I have had a date where I chose to be totally submissive. That is not one that I would choose to repeat, but, I absolutely am glad that I tried it. I have been told that I am open minded, and even though I never really thought that I was, perhaps that is correct. My boundaries have been expanded and there are several more areas that I still wish to explore. I will at some point book time with a T-Girl, and I am quite looking forward to it. There is no doubt in my mind at all that I am way into women more than men, so when this happens it will be with a person with very feminine features. Maybe that is not being open minded? On the topic of open mindedness, one of the things that I am most pleased about is that my daughters know about my occasional involvement with sex workers and it's pretty awesome that they are not only OK with it for me, but also are not judgmental of me at all. Needless to say there has been an teaching opportunity for me to enlighten them as they also had all the same stereotypes that I used to have. Great thread Meaghan. -

Mr. Excaliber, Thank you so much for your interest. In the interest of privacy, my client list cannot be posted publicly as I am certain that you will understand. I do however have incredible interest from our ladies on the East coast. I am developing this proposal not only as a personal enrichment opportunity but as well as a response to the weak economic situation here on the East coast. I have already received much local interest from our male escorts and in fact they were in for interviews last fall. That being said, please do not despair and should those from west of here wish to interview, then please let me know and submit your CV's. I believe that the best person should get the job. Thanks again. MN2

Best wishes and Happy Birthday Lilly. -
To the CEO and Board of Directors of BBM. Slightly more than a year ago I determined that I might develop a proposal for creating a second BBM Lodge, based on its extraordinary success. I totally disappeared from the world and devoted my time to exploring options and putting together a portfolio for your consideration. It is entitled : BBM East At this time I wish to submit a preliminary inquiry as to its feasibility. In order to assure you of my commitment to this enterprise I am including at this point only two small sections of the overall document. Part One: Business Plan I have developed what I believe will be the secret to success, and as you will note, the first document is the basic plan and the second document shows the more detailed operating procedure. - Part Two: Marketing and Advertising All successful businesses and all successful franchises require a solid advertising plan and I determined that it would be best to seek out employees who have a proven track record. One of the most successful franchises in history is of course McDonalds, and I have believe that I have pulled off a coup by bringing their creative advertising agency on board. I shall include a few samples of their work. - - - - Phaedrus, Lee Richards, Old Dog and other BBM executives, I respectfully submit this preliminary inquiry for your perusal. Should this strike your interest I have additional work completed on other aspects such as but not restricted to, a location and property, travel arrangements to the new resort, security, dining and other criteria that would make this a unique and successful addition to your BBM Lodge. I await your response. Respectfully Submitted. MN2

what are you doing at this very minute?
mrrnice2 replied to Exotic Touch Danielle's topic in Fun Threads
All cleaned up and ready to settle in to watch some March Madness. Tonight I am going for UConn and Michigan. Probably the kiss of death. :) -
It's almost April and normally at this time I start counting days until April 15th, the start of trout season on PEI. Those first few times out are always so very much anticipated. This year there is not a hope in hell that I will be able to get to my favorite streams on April 15th unless many feet of snow miraculously disappears. And well, the worms are no doubt still hunkered down deep. :) I am not sure of seasonal regulations across the country but are there others who are looking ahead to that first opportunity to get out by your favorite stream or brook. What a peaceful way to spend a few hours. I am ready.

I "think" that I can write this now without jinxing myself. We have had a crazy snow and windstorm here now for over 24 hours, with 50+ cm of snow and winds approaching hurricane strength. The winds are still presently howling and no plows are anywhere out in the countryside where I live and I don't expect them until late tonight or until tomorrow. However, unlike some who were and still are less fortunate, my power stayed on. I had all of the necessities - ample food and of course beer. :) With power on the pump worked so I had water. Heat and light in abundance. On Wednesday I bought some fresh tulips and they are in vase in the window, opening with all of that snow out there as a background. Yesterday I planted multiple flats of seeds for my flower and vegetable garden because I am reasonably sure, but not yet certain, that we will in fact have a spring and summer. Soon they will be in my outside greenhouse. I read books and had fun with a thread on Cerb. It's all good. :)

Snow Party on the Island.....
mrrnice2 replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
The morning after the night before and success stories all around. Thanks to Lee and his super shovel, a few scoops and the snow was gone. Lee being the early bird and workaholic was up early and prepared a delightful breakfast for all of us. Magician cast his spell and arrived as well. He may have to use his magic carpet to get everyone home as we are still not moving on roads in PEI until tonight. He dropped business cards all around. If he can't handle the volume of travelers I have my alternative travel arrangements made. Only problem is that with our 100 km winds all these lovely ladies may end up in Newfoundland. Hey, that's not so bad though is it. Before the ladies leave though they decided to soak up a few rays from that big old PEI sun. I was able to assist Meaghan with a few techie questions. Glad for the big old farmhouse. All beds were full, and some overfull. :) I always underestimate that Lee fella. I thought, "What the hell. A snorkel," but he's smarter than the average guy from Manitoba! That's Lee in there right smack in the middle! Well he's in there somewhere. I can imagine what he's up to! So thanks everyone for the help with the digging out. Just so you know, we have another big snow storm forecast for Sunday if anyone wants to drop by. My free B&B is always available. Ha, still really wondering about a summer bonfire though. :) MN2 -
How do you put pics in your posts???
mrrnice2 replied to LadyTY2Uall's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I was just asked by someone how to insert a picture in a thread. I can do it, but it involves a multi multi multi step process. I know I use the method that WIT outlined in his post in this thread using a web based photo hosting site. That means I copy a pic onto my computer, then upload it to another hosting website, then from there copy the link and then insert that link into a thread. Is there a simpler, quicker and faster way to do this? -
Well unfortunately I guess I really do eat quite poorly. I certainly eat to live and not the other way around. The exception is if I have company at which time eating and cooking become fun again. And, I am at least a decent cook when I do it.

Snow Party on the Island.....
mrrnice2 replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Hey Lee. Good to hear that you're on the way but it would be better perhaps not to snorkel across the Northumberland Strait. Not too many breaks in the ice to come up for air. That snow crawl might work however. The girls decided that when you get here a cold beer is probably not the proper thing, so they are going to simmer some mulled wine for you and feed you hot hors d'oevres while you bask in the whirlpool. That probably means I will have to go shovel by myself. :( -
Snow Party on the Island.....

Oh my. Chains. That just put a very unexpected image in my mind! Sure Meaghan, come on across. :) Hey, this party is growing all the time. The heck with shoveling as there are probably better things that we can do! Makes me think I should plan a party around the bonfire in July, and, well, I have serious bonfires here. :) Maybe the snow will be melted by then! Cerb PEI social around the fire has a certain appeal to it. -

Hey Mr Magician! This could work, you being a magician and all. Maybe you can just use that magic and cast a spell to get yourself here - see, I sort of live out in the country and unless you are my next door neighbor there's certainly no other way to get here! Some of the girls are already looking like a massage might be of use and holy geeze, the snow has just started and I only have two hands. They have only just begun the shovelling part!!!!! Oh, and when you come, bring beer and wine. I have the shrimp and lobster in already though. See you soon. :) MN2 PS. Lee did not get here yet. I am scared that he thought he was Harry Potter and tried to fly that shovel. He may have gotten off track in Ottawa. -
There's a silver lining to every cloud they say - well, every snow cloud it appears. Overnight I had so many ladies from Cerb contact me, knowing of the storm to come today and tonight, and offering their services out of the goodness of their hearts. I believe that many of the Maritime Cerb ladies may be on PEI today. Party time! Services you say? Well of course there has to be a warm up before the physical labor begins. And so the work begins. Always time though for a photoshoot. When we are done here they may head off to Charlottetown! Of course, I got a little note from Lee Richards. "Geeze MN2, it's only -2 there! Friggin Maritime wimps." When he sees my guest list I expect he will invite himself and I hope he brings his own shovel. Isn't it great to be Canadian and have such a close community. :)

Two weeks on the road, 5000 km logged, stayed ahead of all snow storms, had awesome visits with family and friends, and now I am back on the Island. Isn't it funny, a nice funny, how much we enjoy going away, but at the end of the day, there's no place like home. :) MN2 is glad to be in his comfort zone but I expect will soon be planning the next road trip.

I have not seen this thread recently and I am sure there are lots of people who could use a hug today. So if that's you, take this and savor it. :) Have a great day!

Ah Meg that is so unfortunate. It kind of boggles the mind when one hears a story such as that because something like that is so unnecessary and indicative of I really don't know what. I still am very much a believer however that the vast majority of people are good people and that your experience is the exception rather than the rule and that the universe simply surrounded you by idiots for a short period of time. One can "explain" it away as a big city "attitude" but I don't fully agree with that. Last week I was in Kingston, perhaps a small city by Ontario standards but a big city by my PEI standards. I was travelling with my wheelchair and when I use it I have crutches to get me to the back of my Jeep and then I stand on one leg to haul the char out. I am now very good at it but in Kingston at mall parking lots, each and every single time I needed to toss the chair back in, someone approached and asked if they could assist. That does not happen that much when I am in little PEI. So good on the kind people and those who pass by are only losing a part of themselves by not helping others. Have faith in people - Most deserve it. :)

Happy Birthday Savannah Lane

Have a wonderful birthday Savannah. -
Just came back from an appointment with my daughter and her husband where she had an ultrasound of her baby. It was pretty amazing! Baby apparently is the size of a large tomato, and you can see every feature of a human being! They even had what they called 4D images - 3D plus motion so we watched arms and legs and head and heart beating and lips moving. Ha ha. This future grandfather is pretty intrigued!

Actually, highlights of the week. I have been in Kingston since last Wednesday. I ended up driving a full 16 hours straight through and it was a good decision as I got here before a reasonably good snow storm. I have had a great visit with my daughter and since we love projects we have have primed and painted their newly gyprocked basement and have laid a laminate floor. Starting to look at weather for my trip home later in the week but who knows what we will end up in the middle of. :) Love getting away with my kids!
