Happy Birthday Isabella. :) Early or not, have a great day! Enjoy the cake. -
Gabriella and T-Girl Kay are correct I believe. That does not mean that I always pay attention to my intuition, but usually first vibes are pretty accurate. There is a book called "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking," by Malcolm Gladwell" in which this is addressed. Very interesting reading.

Thinking of changeing my name.
mrrnice2 replied to TGirl-Kay's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I for one really like the name November. It appears as if you are getting relatively equal input regarding change/don't change, so as with any decision it ultimately comes to your preference. At the end of the day, regardless of your handle, you are who you are as a person and I will continue to admire the person behind whichever name you choose. -
Happy Birthday Katherine. I hope that you have a wonderful day and that this next year brings all that you wish for.

Yesterdays highlight actually. I host an annual bonfire which seems to grow in size every ear. I have never once had a rainout. Yesterday was heavy rain prior to it, and rain began after it was done, but we had the perfect window of opportunity and we made the best of it. An absolutely perfect evening and almost 20 degrees, even away from the fire. Great food and even better company. :)

Thanks Jabba, and it was an awesome evening. The mussels are really simple. Broth is white wine and a touch of water, chopped onion, celery and garlic, parsley and pepper. Add mussels to the boiling liquid, and when they are open (usually 2 - 3 minutes) they are ready to eat. You only use maybe 1/2 to 1 inch of liquid in the bottom of the pot. Bon appetit.

Well, this is the night of my annual mega-bonfire which seems to grow in size every year, both the fire and the number of people, so I am expecting 50+ this evening. All you can eat corn and mussels are on the menu. AND, it really looks like I got my break in the weather! The sun is now out and I am looking forward to one of my favorite evenings of the year. Keep your fingers crossed!

Happy birthday traducteur. I hope that you have a great day! -
Destiny or Coincidence? I have a friend who believes that as we go through life that we meet people and run into situations that are all determined by some 'force' of nature or of the universe. That is not something that I ever believed before or I guess truthfully that I ever really considered or thought about. Now at this point in my life it has given me cause to wonder. I am open minded enough to take that idea under advisement but I would not be able to accept pre-destiny. Even if I accept that the premise that meetings and circumstances are determined by some higher power, I do like to think that once they occur it is my own nature and free will that will influence future events. I am not particularly religious but do believe that there is 'something'. I am absolutely committed to personal choice and responsibility. Are the ideas of personal responsibility and some higher intervention contradictory? Just one more of life's little mysteries.

I like Meg because she was all that I expected when we finally met last summer and more! This also gives me a chance to send her a hug, and no Meg, I did not tell you, but I had (and still have) visions of skinny dipping with you in that pool. :)

A welcome to you. I love your handle and despite the name there is no rubicon here. :) This is a pretty unique community and as you take part you will learn lots and meet some beautiful people along the way. Welcome.

Aubrey (Aka: Aubreyxxx - Aubrey Elizabeth)
mrrnice2 replied to parkershellby45's topic in PEI Recommendations
I have seen Aubrey several times now and am only belatedly writing the recommendation that she deserves. She is a very personable young woman who is easy to talk with, makes you feel welcome immediately, is relaxed in the encounter and certainly does not rush things in any way. I have met with Aubrey both in a GFE situation and as a massage client. Very different situations understandably but both very enjoyable. She now has a lovely incall location and even though she has just moved in, her separate massage area is perfect and makes one feel very comfortable. As always I will refrain from very personal details but she is a very sensual person who combines the girl next door appeal with an unbridled sexuality. What a nice combination. Best of luck Aubrey in this new endeavour and I am confident that with your permission we shall meet again. Gentlemen, feel free to call Aubrey. She is a welcome addition to CERB. -
I like bigdawg because he writes on such a variety of topics and not only that, makes good points. :) And he must be Old Dog's little brother. The genes are showing.

This is really a group hug. :) To Angela, Aubrey, Gabriella L., Emily R. and anyone else who may enjoy it. Just jump right on in there Lee. This would be a pretty awesome hug group. I think that's you right there in the middle. :)

This hug is for Nathalie Lefebvre as she balances her studies with ever so much more. :) Additional Comments: This hug goes out to Sophia V as she embarks on her new adventures. :) Additional Comments: And this hug to Katherine as she is visiting Ottawa so very far from home.

I have a few hugs to send out through the day for no particular reasons. One can never have too many hugs. :)

Wishing you a Happy Birthday Julia. Have a great day! -
I just finished making two large pans of lasagna, and all the tomatos, onions and peppers in the sauce are fresh from my garden. One tray will be for dinner with company tonight and the other for the freezer for 'instant' meals as needed. Dinner prep is all done and that means that I can settle in for some football. :)

Good to hear all of this Old Dog. I heard that you had ventured out to the social, so that was excellent news too. You take it easy and enjoy being pampered while you can. :) MN2
