Being the last day of my BC vacation, the day and week have been a highlight. Pouring rain this morning, but the sun has come out as I overlook the strait across to the mainland. Four killer whales swam right past me two days ago and watching the salmon jumping up and over falls in a river was incredible to see. Of course there was a great visit with a new friend as well. But, my highlight is that as much as I love to go away, tomorrow I get to go home.

Is being Horny seasonal?
mrrnice2 replied to castle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Another interesting question to ponder. Sexual interest is never far away at any time of the year, however the various seasons do seem to bring opportunities or variances that bring a fresh spirit of enjoyment. Coming now into fall and soon to be winter, one finds the shorter evenings bring opportunities to sit and cuddle and share a drink in front of the fire. This can lead to slow and intimate sexual sharing. The mood is set by the season. The spring and summer bring longer evenings. An opportunity to be productive after dinner and then enjoy that long bath together which leads to slow and intimate sexual sharing. The mood is set by the season. So for me the season does not change the desire but perhaps the mood and atmosphere. Desire is ever present. -
I enjoy HfxAndy for his part in the fat Bastards BBM group. He is also another member of the well respected Maritimers contingent now on Cerb. :)

I like Shymale because of his great avatar, and for his handle that I might have chosen for myself had he not already beaten me to the punch.

Congratulations Meg! The rep points are ever so well deserved. Keep posting for us.

Happy birthday Pete. Have a great day. -
Some of you have wondered just how I fared with my jet lag dilemma. Actually, pretty well I think. Here was the process, and I am not sure it would work for everyone but this did for me. I did indeed follow most of Emily Ruston's advice as she wrote in the very first reply here. I did not sleep on the plane. I did use melatonin, as I have been now for quite a while as a matter of routine. The bottom line is that I got up at 4 AM Atlantic time, flew to BC ( 4 hour time difference ), had a three hour walk on the Vancouver waterfront, and went to bed at 3 AM Atlantic time. I got up at 8 AM Pacific time and it has been my normal sleep routine since then. However, there is one flaw in all of this, as based on the scientific method. There was one extra variable. I met Samantha Evans in Vancouver for dinner and we spent an incredible evening together. Time zones and the clock became a non-issues. One wonders if Samantha might be the actual reason for success???? She is as amazing in person as the lady that I have come to know from her writing. The real jet lag solution?? Oh and thanks JuliasUndies for your advice here, but, not required. :)

Congratulations Old Dog. Keep it up as I always enjoy the entire variety of your posts. Well done! -
I am just passing on some information from Angel. I have had a visit with her and as of today she asked that I let her CERB friends know that she is doing OK. She is presently taking her own personal time and thanks everyone for caring.

I am afraid that I am the Scrooge of Hallowe'en. But Christmas, bring it on. :)

Thanks for the help with this. I have the melatonin on hand and the other suggestions will be heeded. I shall know tomorrow evening how it works!

As an inexperienced traveller I have had issues with jet lag. I realize that it is only a four hour difference from the east coast to the west, but on my last two trips there it took me days to adjust. Leaving from NB at 6 am AST and then arriving in BC at 10 AM sounds great but later on by 7 pm local time my body says it is bedtime! Any suggestions?

I am packed and ready for my next road trip. :) The house is clean to come home to, and all is well. Feel free to tell me how to adapt to a 4 hour time change from here to the west coast. :)

Congratulations Megan. Your posts are always ones that I read and I have come to appreciate your wisdom and your well thought out contributions. Thank you and keep posting.

Sleepovers. a good or bad idea?
mrrnice2 replied to castle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
The overnight encounter does indeed present a set of dynamics different from a short one hour encounter or even from that of a longer multi-hour liaison. I appreciate and truly understand everything that Castle has written here as I have had the identical questions and musings. I absolutely understand the sadness and loneliness that at night sometimes comes with the realization that there is not a special someone to curl up to, or just touch and hold. That is a feeling that cannot be replicated without having a special someone to share it with. The lines can easily be blurred, and it is important to keep in mind the context of CERB, how and why initial meetings happened, and that there are boundaries. That is not to say that in special circumstances those boundaries cannot be mutually crossed, but I would think that that would be the exceptionally rare circumstance. An overnight is potentially a very intimate sharing experience between two people. I have had overnight dates, and they were very special, not only to me, but I believe as well for the women who shared the experience with me. They were more than simply business transactions. Did they cause 'feelings' to develop? For me the answer is no, because those 'feelings' were already there prior to the overnight, otherwise the overnight would never have happened in the first place. So what are those `feelings.` For me it is not love as I have defined it for so many years. It is caring. It is connection. It is respect. It is having that extra comfort level with another person. It is mutual pleasure. It is a meeting of minds. It is the ability to relax and share things about oneself and with each other. It is learning new things and perspectives. It is in whatever context, a special friendship. Without those things already being present I would not seek out an overnight. The overnight can enhance these things beyond my ability to express, but with care, communication, truth, honesty and sincerity, it can be something that both parties can enjoy as special without assuming anything more. If you can do that, and yes, it is an emotional rollercoaster, then an overnight is a truly special thing. -

What a cliet want wants is ...

For me it is very simple. Please don't lie to me. Omission of detail and purposefully deciding not to share something is fair, genuine, and polite and will be respectfully received. It works both ways, for me.- 41 replies

A short while back a thread appeared entitled "Why Can Boys Do it, but We Can't." http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=66730 The thread sort of went in various directions, but one post caught my eye, referring to the way that things 'used to be', with regards to ads. The intimation seemed to be that at present most women do not put a lot of creativity into their ads because of whatever that change was that had been made in a previous time. However, I do see a number of women who obviously put extra time, extra effort, extra thought, humour, intelligence and so many other things in their ads, so that their ads do distinguish themselves from others. As well, their ads over time do vary and differ from each other and change significantly over time. A couple of examples that come to mind very quickly are ads from women such as ____, _______, as well as others. I also see women who post regularly for whom I have virtually never seen an ad posted, and I am presuming that it is their posts and contributions to forums that bring attention and interest? I am curious then from SP's and hobbyists alike, what role the ad plays for you. Note: I removed those two names as discretion is the better part of valour and I shall wait until I have their permission.

This shall perhaps be the most different of any recommendation that I have written, because for my own reasons I would prefer not to give too many details at all. Curious I expect? My most recent visit with Emily was an extended date that gave us a further opportunity to spend time together. Now that she is officially a resident of Atlantic Canada it was my great privilege to be able to introduce her to some of the delights of PEI, things that are probably pretty foreign to a long term resident of Toronto. We enjoyed the opportunity to share a bottle of wine while I tried my best to convince her to take one of my kittens home with her. I think that I was so so very close to being successful but her determination to resist won out. Emily is a young woman who is a treat to be with. Her honesty and sincerity are evident. For me at least she presents the girl next door appeal with such a sense of sexuality underlying her presence. It has been my great pleasure and honour to have been able to share my time with her, and should you be fortunate enough to have her visit your area, then she is a lady with whom you should make contact. Thanks Emily for a wonderful time.

I was ever so fortunate to have had an opportunity to meet with Gabriella on her first ever trip to New Brunswick. I have met Gabriella on previous occasions and just as they were different experiences then and unique and amazing experiences in their own way, so was what was to come in this encounter. As has become a favourite part of a date for me, a good portion of our time was of a social nature. She is a great conversationalist, very intelligent and knowledgeable, and with the ability to put one at ease instantly, especially after the two of us having already established a rapport previously. We caught up on things over a lovely unrushed dinner and I was caught a few times I believe just sort of staring at her and then breaking into a smile simply with the enjoyment of being able to see her again. We had a short walk through part of Saint John and eventually found our way to her beautiful suite in a lovely hotel. She knows just how much I enjoy sharing a bubble bath while we sip on a glass of wine, as it is something that always adds an erotic prelude to whatever might come to pass, and we did just that. Chocolate cake and raspberries added the final decadent touch. Gabriella has a wonderfully playful nature and possesses the ability to tease and prolong and she presents such an erotic nature. She is so totally at ease with herself and her body. Shy she is not and she explored with me my interest in voyeurism while making use of some of the fun toys that she brought with her. One day I might just surprise her by taking control, but for the moment she quite enjoys playing that role with me and I am quite willing to go along. My visit with Gabriella was delightful, with funny stories and anecdotes, serious conversation, and everything in between. It is a visit that I shall always recall for many reasons. I am delighted that we have developed this friendship and on parting I left with the anticipation of a future visit in my head. Thank you Gabriella for everything. You are an amazing woman with a zest for life that I shall try to learn from. Should you have an opportunity to meet Gabriella then I am confident that it will result in a meeting that you will look back on with fond recollections. Her present ad for Saint John as is always the case truly shows her class and accurately reflects the underlying nature of an encounter. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=66882

Do you have to be the Father of Invention to have become famous for such a cornucopia of crazy one liners? And if so, does that make Old Dog a Father of Invention?

Is necessity the mother of invention?

RG is one of the classiest voices of reason. That factor outweighs some of the bad jokes. :) And he is going to come tuna fishing in PEI one day I am sure!
