Carley how appropriate this thread is and I am sure not only for me but for many of us. I know that I have had a lot of down periods since last Thanksgiving, and it is friends and family that have brought me back, time and time again. One of the best things for me is to remind myself or to be reminded of what I had and what I have to be thankful for. A marriage that was made in heaven with incredible happy remembrances. A grown family that has become even closer since last Thanksgiving. True friends who have refused to let me become a loner despite my inclination to become one. Cerb men and women who have done the same for me and supported me with compasson and empathy, way outside of the bounds of Cerb itself.. I have met amazing people here who have persevered through their own tough times and have come out with such positive outlooks and live their lives now with vitality and enthusiasm. An incentive for me to know that attitude can and does influence what we are and who we will become. I sometimes am a slow learner. So thank you Carley for this reminder as I am truly thankful for so many things. May you all be as fortunate as I. Happy Thanksgiving :)

What a great anniversary to recall. A confirmed Bond film fan, I have to go with the original, Sean Connery as # 1 but our newest Bond, Daniel Craig is right there as # 2 in my opinion. May this unique series continue for a long time to come.

I am wondering if just in general any 3some, regardless of the makeup of the group, might be a more special experience if all or most of the participants had met previously. I would think that it would increase the level of connection, which to me is always important, and ease safty concerns for all parties. Would it be a requirement, probably not, but something that would improve the quality of the whole experience, I think so. I know that very recently I read the about the experience of Bucken with Gabriella Laurence and Lucy Biset, and it appears as if only two of the group may have met previously. Ah yes, tis the season. I for one am a firm and confirmed believer in Vitamin C. I do not take it regularly other than what comes in orange juice, however at the very very first thought that there may be a cold in the works I will take mega amounts of Vitamin C, numerous times through the day. Vitamin C is not stored in the body, so no fears of an overdose. Once the cold is settled in however, Vitamin C does not do much, so then you are into the get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids thing. My wife was a nutritionist and she did not accept that Vitamin C worked and said it was all in my head. Whatever the reason, for me it seems to be the thing.

I think that I would tend towards NOT wanting a template as it might result in very quick posts that do not contain the personal thoughts and feelings that might compliment that SP and as well help prospective clients make choices and decisions. I do read reccos, but not as a matter of routine. I also write reccos, and again, not as a matter of routine. I have said many times that I have never had a bad encounter and that is absolutely true. Neither though have I written a recco every time. For me, I take pride in writing reccos. As every single encounter that I have had has been different, so too have my reccos all been different. I believe that if I wrote every recco with the same format, the same words, and using the same pre-defined format, then at some point the reccos would become meaningless. Since reccos are obviously an important factor for many, and since the presence of a recco on the main page does draw attention to that SP, I wonder if Sara does have a point here. Inconsequential posts bring an SP to widespread attention without having anything new being added to existing reccos. Perhaps I am misunderstanding the context here, but I for one when I do want to look at reccos, that is what I would like to see.
