Wow. Just when I thought that I was coming to terms with the industry and my role in it as it relates to the women who are in it, I read all of this and I am back to questioning again. First of all, and again it may be a stereotype, but when I think of international sex tourism, I think of Thailand in particular and stories of underage girls, girls and women in poverty being forced by others to participate, and abuse by "western" men. When I read of these sorts of things, it actually sickens me and just because of me being me, I cannot understand how any man could treat any woman in that manner. So internationally, if that is what it is to be involved, then no thank you, and I want no part or association with it. If by internationally one is simply describing activity similar to what I have experienced through Cerb members, then I really do not see any distinction between other countries and what is available in Canada. My questioning again. This, like many threads has overlaps, but if we look back at the stereotype thread of a few months back, I wrote that I would feel terrible if I were "taking advantage," of a woman because of her economic circumstance. I would like to think, that the women in the industry here are here because of personal preference, their desire to have their own business, their interest in meeting a variety of people, and their enjoyment of sex to whatever level they are comfortable with. Now again after reading so much above, I ask myself if I am being totally naive and just rationalizing away my concerns. Like I say, the threads overlap, but here I am wondering again. Just my thoughts.

This is interesting because as an East coast guy, I have remarked to myself numerous times about the predominance of men and women from the Ottawa area. I did not realize however that there are similar sites to Cerb that cover other specific areas of the country, and as I wrote on one other thread, I have no intention of seeking them out. Atlantic Canada is well represented with some amazing SP's and perhaps because of Cerb is also visited by other equally great SP's. For me I am pretty happy where I am and though Cerb may be Ottawa centered/based, it does seem to meet the needs for Atlantic Canada as well as other regions all across the country. Ottawa - over-sexed? No such thing, and whatever that is defined as, we Eastern Canadians are right there with you. :)

As a relatively new person to the scene, I stepped into this with no prior knowledge or experience with donations or expectations. For me financially, it was what it was, and initially I thought that it was indeed rather pricey. I have always in all things been a believer in the "you get what you pay for" cliche. I knew that I wanted classy, personal, relaxed, unrushed and new experiences and I have had no disappointments at all. Truthfully, I find it especially hard to see how travelling SP's make it financially successful when one looks at the cost of travel (often by air), the use of upscale hotels, clothing and lingerie, and then food on the road is never inexpensive. Combine that with some of the references to no shows that I have seen, then I believe that the costs to me are well within what could be termed as a fair and reasonable range. If we want to have the quality experiences that I believe most are having, then we must support those who work in it. That being said, would I support lower donation rates? Of course, but I understand the impact that would ultimately have on both the women who are developing a business and the men who want the quality experiences that we are so fortunate to be able to have. All I have to do is learn how to budget appropriately and work on my self-control. :)

Ah man, here we go again. Which political party will deny up and down the release of something like this? Let me guess, let me guess.......Yup, Mr underhanded control freak. But of more interest to me may be a potential backlash. Perhaps this will be one more thing that may cause voters to say that at least here is a candidate who is real, and not simply manufactured and packaged as the others seem to be. It will be interesting to follow the reaction.

Well I guess they say that time will tell regarding any skin cancers, but for me, a day or two of sun and I am brown. I rarely burn, use SPF infrequently, but have gone to a hat alot in the past few years. Once the good weather arrives I am most often found clad only in a pair of shorts and working aroiund outside. Seems to me that with the numbers who use tanning beds and spary ons that if I could bottle my genetics I would make a fortune. :) And I know, I don't have to concern myself with it, but what IS the story on those tanning beds. Are they worth the risk? My wife was unable to tan, ever, and her physical attraction level to me was simply beyond.

Imagine having had a fantasy of almost 40 years, and then after all of that time, having it realized. The thing is that not only was it realized, but it surpassed any prior expectation and anticipation. It helped a lot that it happened with two women that I have come to know previously, two women who I happen to really like a lot and two women who obviously really like each other. I teased them that in fact the time donation should have come from them to me for giving them the opportunity to get together again! As much enjoyment as they got from each other, it was always clear that I was their focus. Oh Oh. Last place in the pool this morning, and I could potentially lose all 10 of my players tonight. This is very stressful! :)

Wow, we DO have a lot of quirks don't we! I always have to have the bedroom door closed to sleep, regardless or not if anyone else is in the house. I drink my beer at room temperature other than on wicked hot summer days when a cold one is amazing. And, never from the bottle - only in a beer glass or mug. I wash dishes as I dirty them. I hate having dirty dishes on the counter or in the sink. I always like to set the table for supper with a tablecloth, nice place setting, and sometimes even with an extra place set, even when I am alone. I love my PVR for watching sports. Start watching a half hour to an hour after the game starts and then forward through commercials. I have to step outside in the morning first thing if it is a sunny day, winter or summer. I am a compulsive list maker and even will add to the list after I have done something so that I can check it off. :) I love to go for drives even without a purpose. This could be a long list! Additional Comments: And I love fishing. A quiet spot, a bobber and if I get a bite, thats a bonus.

I used to enjoy those times when I would have a day or two or even three of being alone and now that it has become the norm, it is not the same at all. I used to think that I could function alone but now realize just how much contact with others is so important. I am a new person to texting over the past 7 months and those constant texts from my daughters who are spread across the country have become incredibly important things for me. All of those little "nothing" texts are not meaningless, they are showing me that I am not alone, and that means more than I could ever express here. Likewise for short emails from friends or quick calls. They are connections to remind me that others are with me, even if not present in my space at the time. I DO enjoy quiet reflective time outside, walking, working on my property, in my gardens, but other people are so important. As with so many things in life - balance.

Hey Erin. I want to say good luck with this and I wish that I had the magic solution to give you. Perseverance and determination. I am afraid that I cannot be the role model for you, but on those times when I have stopped for any significant amounts of time, it has been fresh air, walking and exercise, and lots and lots of orange juice in lieu of coffee that helped the most. I am thinking that what you have done here by letting people know and letting them help you as well may be a really good thing. You said that you hoped that you did not yell at anyone...:) Well, yell in here all that you want. As one who wished so deeply that he could do what you are doing......good luck and keep in mind how good you feel about yourself.

I think that Pete and I must think alike! I would love to know the answers or opinions regarding his questions. I know, I know, this is just me, and not most guys, but know what, there would be a lot of sleeping too. I miss sleeping beside a woman and curling around her a LOT.
