I am completely ignorant about this matter, but I think it will be appropriate to find a solution before it becomes a problem. Correct? I am referring to the new prostitution bill. And these are only ideas/questions/maybe solutions in case it becomes law With the new bill, criminalizing everything but independents SPs would it be accurate to say the advertisement of services will be ban in boards like this one? HOWEVER 1. Communication on CERB as a social medium still will be possible so the only thing that will affect and I am seeing it in a very broad spectrum with out having any knowledge of the way legislation works in Canada(so please excuse my lock of knowledge if I make wrong assumptions and please correct me). This means that advertisement will be prohibited and if CERB doesn't cooperated they could be shut down (something similar to CL)? BUT if instead of advertisement we rely completely in communicating as we do on the forums, and use it as a social network. Would CERB be respecting the regulations under the bill(law). Right? I imagine that paid advertisement supports the management and maintenance of the CERB website, and probably it would be necessary to create some type of membership fee in order to make up for the advertisement being removed off CERB to comply with the laws(in case this becomes one). 2. If CERB becomes a membership only forum and the members are screened to prove they are legit SPs or Hobbyists then Could CERB become A PRIVATE BOARD? Of course no to advertise but to "Socially Network" (something like Facebook). 3. Before the WWW came to revolutionize the industry where did SPs would advertise services? In the US there were weekly papers, and local papers where there were no pictures and no "menus" at less that was still happening 15 years ago. Some providers still rely on these mediums for additional advertisement. In reality you would not advertise specific services but advertise you number or email. Would this be a possibility? 4. If CERB is owned and operated by a different country then the governing laws and jurisdiction would be other than Canada, right? I am only giving a supposition, hoping for the bill not to make it at all, but I think it is best to be prepare for the worse case scenario. Just in case.... Any other ideas come to mind? and please feel free to correct me if any of my statements above are off. Thank you!

...has CERB been able to maintain such a positive and respectful vibe? I have been a member for very short time, but every time I come to the board and read ANY thread, it is always comforting and refreshing to know that there are a lot of good people in this industry (from both sides) who are genuine and caring. It is a breath of fresh air to get such a positive energy from people who I don't even know, and who are thousands of miles away from me. It is nice to see a lot of men have a deeper level of compassion and understanding for SPs; to see that tolerance and respect can really make a difference in the industry, it's truly inspiriting. Seeing the dynamics n this board make me see a bigger picture... If every human being could follow very simple and basic rules the world could be a better place, and that we don't always have to agree, but we can also agree to disagree respectfully. I have to say that this topic has always been very controversial in this side of the boarder. I will just share from my personal experiences and concerns, and situations that close friends have encountered with this type of sessions. I live in California; I've usually traveled from Southern California to Northern California and to other states. I have never offered 15 minutes sessions. If someone needed only 15 minutes, and he wanted to session with me; he had to pay for the half hour regardless if he stayed 10, 15, 20 minutes(they ended up staying longer than 15 minutes obviously). A few clients who have seen a close friend for quickies FS($60-$80); they have also visited me for $200Hh when I used to offer it. She thought many times because she was giving them a "good price" they will only see her. At the end, my friend ended up with bad reviews from the guys who once were her "quickie regulars" because they have felt rushed! WT...! what do they expect? It was damaging for her business because with bad reviews nobody would see her or they will ask for a discount or/and an explanation in why the bad reviews. 99% of the requests for 15 minutes here in Cali are men who are low-ballers and cheapskates who take advantage of the girls and manipulate them into lowering their rates and giving all FS for so little. Now, my concern is about the risks involved for every time a new person comes to their door. Here there have been girls killed, assaulted, raped, robbed by clients(or pimps), not including when they get busted by LE. They have to pay for hotel, advertisement, food, all the things needed it to run their business, beside their rent, bills, and personal and family expenses. Majority of the girls who do quickies don't check references at all because of the reasoning behind the quickie (the client just has a limited amount of time that's why he ONLY NEEDS 15 minutes). Let's not forget, the high volume of people who is coming and going, and she maybe getting unnecessary attention from hotel management. The health risks STDs/STIs, a broken C, a pregnancy. I believe this is a high risk profession and it should be treated accordingly! It is not really the time that one spends with a person that make it high risk, but the relationship between the high number of people you see and all the risks associated with SPs.
