From one day to another my car's exhaust pipe produces metallic rattles and does a big noise when I push on the accelerator! How did this happen as I barely drive more than 20 kilometers a day, and nothing happened to the car?!? Mystery to me... Anyway, car is set for a "doctor's" appointment first time in the morning on Tuesday.

A cake but it was not the one I wanted. I just realized when I arrived home that it was the wrong one. The packages were too similar. Well, I ate it anyway!

It would be interesting if some of us had stories of supernatural nature to share that could lead us to think that, maybe, something does exist after and before life. Amazing stories, but not experienced under the influence of drugs, of course ;-) That would be no scientific proof, but still interesting to hear and open our mind to this possibility. Anybody has any?

Ah ah Robotgoose! I don't know who you are, but you like keeping mysteries, don't you? Anyway, you know what? I came to the conclusion today that my location is perfectly fine, and decided to stay where I am. I thought about moving for several reasons, mostly related to work. Some people have biases about my neighborhood - although it is not even the neighborhood they think it is! They should check on a map! - and I sometimes lose potential clients because of this. I mean that they do not even want to go in my neighborhood - so we are talking about people who have never been to my place - which does not make sense. Even if my neighborhood is residential, nice, clean, quiet, and so is my building, biases can still stick to people and places for a long time, even when there is no reason for that. But at the end of the day, those people miss the occasion to meet a sweet lady who will welcome them in a very clean and cozy apartment. And I don't even talk about my peculiar mischievous bathroom that is always very much appreciated by the gentlemen who visit me ;-) So, Robotgoose, if you feel like writing nice comments/feedback about my place, do not hesitate to do so! I am the same. I wear contact lenses pretty much all the time, and my glasses only before going to bed and in the morning. I would not be able to do anything or go anywhere without any of these anyway! I don't feel the same when I wear my glasses though, and was wondering if wearing my glasses when I host would "work" for me, but I don't think it would. Although I have had the request sometimes to wear my glasses for some fantasy. Funny how the "secretary look" is still so popular ;-)

It has never happened to me... so far. But I have reviewed in my mind a few scenarios regarding how to react/respond if this were to happen. One thing is sure, as I am proud of what I do, of course, I would not feel embarrassed at all. And as everybody in this kind of situation would want to protect their privacy, it would certainly lead to a very mature and friendly conversation, and an agreement regarding which attitude to keep if, for example, I had to work with this person. Although the idea that this situation can potentially happen is a bit stressful, I have decided not to fear it. And it surely can make for very special encounters and memorable stories like Summer's. Totally worth it! ;-)

Hello Gentlemen, I am bringing back this very useful thread started by Anna Sweets as I am thinking of moving from my current location. My turn to ask you if you would prefer a private host location downtown or a private host location midtown. I am not talking about any hotel, but a private placein a medium rise building having a visitor parking. Which would be the pros and cons to be located downtown or midtown? I wonder if men are really attracted to women who wear glasses or not. Of course there are the classic "secretary" or "teacher" looks that can include glasses or not, but I wonder if, in general, a woman wearing glasses has an effect on you gentlemen? Power of attraction or repellent?

Here is how I see it as a person who became a Canadian Citizen several years ago: I do not have any tie with my country of origin (France) except for visits to my family and friends. I do not pay taxes there, I pay taxes here. As I have been living in Canada for many years now, I have decided not to vote in my country of origin where I still have the right to vote because I find it unfair to vote for people or governments who will make laws that will affect people living in France, while I do not live there. Now, an interesting thing happened many years ago when an extremist right-wing candidate happened to be in the last round of election for presidency against Jacques Chirac. I can tell you that we, the French expatriates living in Canada, went to vote in mass in the Consulates of France where special measures had been put in place so that we could avoid the worst. So, I am shared regarding this. I am glad that adding my vote that day participated to avoid France to have an extremist right-wing president, but on a daily basis, why would I impose on French people the government and laws under which they should live... even if I don't live there anymore?

Had a very enjoyable Paddle Boarding lesson today with a great instructor. Going back next week... on my own this time! YAY! OK, I don't do that yet:

Funny (sometimes in a silly way); deep (I am talking about conversations); curious mind; very creative (take it the way you want); calm; very sensual (touch me and I literally melt like sugar. True); enjoy a sporty look as much as a sophisticated one; very intelligent (of course); warm and empathetic; strong personality who will not hesitate to give her point of view; have the odd and stupid conviction that if a 6'5 guy messes with me I will beat him up easily in one second (I am only 5'1 and I really believe this!!!)
