"Predestination" It is an Australian produced film starring Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. Probably one of the best time travel movies I have seen. As the title suggests, it is an exercise in circular paradoxes. The movie is taken from a short story by Robert A. Heinlein, "All You Zombies..." (there are no zombies, it is a figure of speech). It is superbly executed and the realization at the end is a stunner. Highly recommended. The movie was released in North America just recently but was released in OZ in 2014 so there are BR rips at the usual places.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great. So just focus , and keep aiming.

In my early teens my first serious crush was Joey Heatherton. Never missed the Dean Martin show because of her. The Golddiggers were great too. Right now it's Rosamund Pike. I saw her in Jack Reacher and she was amazing.

It's interesting how in these discussions about oil prices and the economy no one ever brings up federal transfer payments. These equalization payments come from federal taxes on corporations and individuals. With oil revenues plummeting there will be much less corporate taxes collected which eventually will affect provinces that depend upon equalization payments. As things get tighter in the western provinces it follows that it will get tighter in the rest of the country.

I kind of like Chris Evans reading of Captain America. Though when Black Widow suggests seeing a girl in accounting, I would suggest she get naked and teach me how to deal with "modern" girls.

Much of this discussion may become academic as the hactivist group "Anonymous" has their names and have declared they will publish them if the students are not expelled. Should that happen they will be vilified and their career path ended. Apparently the university has kept quiet because they were afraid one of the students was going to hurt himself. This may become tragic.
