I agree that snowboarder's use of the word coloured is a bit bold and off putting...but it might not be ment as disrespectful, I have several friend of to use the PC term African descent... However they dislike that term or other terms to discribe their ethnicity. They infact prefer the term coloured. It maybe that snowbounder has friends that prefer the same term. However yes it is a bold use of a term that can be misconstrued and should not be Used outside of a social group where you know it to be their preference.
