  1. I like that baby, Ms. S. I just purchased 3 sheets of sexy 5/8" tongue and groove plywood but I don't get to keep it.
  2. Chicken thighs with onions and garlic and a jar of biryani paste. Diced in some green apples as we seem to have an overabundance. Yummy sauce for nan scooping.
  3. I see Lovely Lilly is out in Orleans now. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=399232#post399232 And she is a lovely lady to see.
  4. Every fall we would burn all the leaves, branches and tent caterpillar nests in an old metal garbage can. When I lived in Vancouver in the early 80's, they were down to one day of the year for burning yard waste and the whole valley would fill up with smoke. It smelled like..............Victory.
  5. I would say go as some city slicker dandy. Really the hat sells the look. Maybe don't wear brown shoes. I will be going tomorrow as well but was not planning to costumize myself but am now having second thoughts and may just dress up a bit. Have never been there but going with a lady friend who once worked there. :icon_biggrin:
  6. Well Friday night there was a faint wiff of something dead in the basement which I could not quite pinpoint. Figured maybe a mouse snuck in and expired somewhere behind all those boxes in storage. Hasn't happened since we renovated 7 years ago but it only takes a small opening for them to infiltrate. Long story short, by Saturday morning I could pinpoint the foul smell and it was most pungent when I opened up the dryer door. Shite! What a way to start my day. Flip the dryer around, pop off the duct at the back of the machine, get down on all fours to peak in and there it is..... A poor red sq squirrel who picked the wrong warm pipe to call home. There is now an extra grille over the vent outlet to prevent this from happening again.
  7. Place your large screen TV in the front window and play this video and sound track really loud. Edgar Varese - Poeme Electronique Some images from the original showings in 1958 at the Brussels World's Fair.
  8. Hop and Skip Run and Jump Trip and Fall Duck and Cover Ifs and Ands Pots and Pans Pepsi and Mae West
  9. Actually I find even Hallow'en to be also over the top commercialized. Gone are the days when a simple white bed sheet or Mum's fish net stockings and a tutu were a good costume.
  10. Twigs and seeds Sugar and spice and everything nice Me and you Sacco and Vanzetti You and the horse you rode in on.
  11. Speaking of intensity, If a centipede a pint, how much could a precipice?
  12. Always had my eye on Mary Magdalene but I should run this by on Tineye just to be sure.
  13. I was gonna jump all over Aero for Aerosmith but that would be too easy. Not that this is too complicated either, but how about Aeroplane or the more familiar Jefferson Airplane? Somebody to Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIkoSPqjaU4&feature=related
  14. Sorry I was in the shower. What is the topic here?
  15. I see using twitter as a link to your advertising. Rather then have to check your twitter account or be inundated with updates, just have a link to your main form of advertising. I am on twitter but just use it to follow some of the folk I have or hope to meet from here. Twitter seems more like friends connecting or staying in touch. In a random fashion for me. If I need some Peachy news then I would usually come here but I really should be getting it directly from the source.
  16. I could be all over the place with old songs that still hold up well for me. Taj Mahal's version of Statesboro Blues http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQMU1S8FhKg Hanks Williams I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry " the silence of a falling star, lights up the purple sky" Alison Krauss's version of Down To The River To Pray
  17. QUIET PLEASE, you're spoiling the movie. Bambi can't find his mother.
  18. Oh RG Now before you go making such a bold statement as having seen everything, you should watch this clip.....
  19. Melia Rae Beautiful Funny Natural I would include Erin and Megan but they are still easy to get a hold of, even here at Cerb on their profiles with their mail contact info. Just look in 'About Me'.
  20. Elgin area as in Elgin Street? If so then I would say Megan's Touch or Amelia MA, or 5 minutes away you have Jessica Massage or Bethany(Sweetest Massage). All independents, all unique and memorable.
  21. My history of cookies: Arrowroot. Easy on the gums and digestion. Have not had one 10 years. Dad's Oatmeal or Choclolate Chip. A highly refined but nicely packaged cookie, especially the chocolate chip. As kids, we could only have 2 at a time but I could actually palm 6. Cookies were the gateway snack to my sneaky ways. Chips Ahoy chocolate chip. Another retail item but they were the epitome of a decent store bought cookie for quite a while. President's Choice oatmeal raisin. Good cookies at a good price. Ikea Ginger Snaps. I was surprised to dicover the Swedes made these yummy cookies. OUr neighbour down the street back home made good ones too. My Kid's Cookies. They make a lot of them and even let me have some. I know I am leaving out many other cookies I hav ehad intimate pleasures with but that is for another entry. Cautionary note: When eating a cookie I also inhale so as not to lose any crumbs. This requires much focused attention so as not to suck any little bits into your lungs. Practice, practice, practice.
  22. T'ank you boys. Now Bobby and Sissy are going to dance to The Patek Family orchestra song "The Circling Pigeon Waltz" from the historic Texas-Czech-Bohemian-Moravian Band compilation album. Brought to you by Geritol Please enjoy.
