  7. Well I got 86 which is average for my family members who never smoked. The smokers never made it past their early sixties unfortunately. So barring any early altzheimer onset I should be good for another 29 years.

  12. I never really had much respect for the pennie. As kids we used to put them on the railroad tracks so the passing traing would flatten them out. I will still stoop to pick up a pennie on the ground although I usually just put it in a spot where someone can see it and take it. It would be 'bad luck' to not pick it up.
  13. Better sleep with a sober cannibal than a drunken Christian. --MOBY DICK, Chapter III Herman Melville
  14. I just had one of those false memories as I thought Third Rate Romance was a Jesse Winchester song. Alas, it was a cover he did. But while we are on the subject of Jesse Winchester, maybe this song of his will allude to my frequently occurring misrememberings. Twigs and Seeds
  15. Exshaw. Located just inside the eastern entrance to the Rockies about 100 km west of Calgary on the T Can. I remember it because I stood at the exit off the highway for 3 hours in November once, hitching a ride to Banff. Also skated on Lac des Arc, just by the highway and limestone plant, a few times.
