I'm sure, though a camera doesn't make a photographer. From the pics I generally see posted, especially on sites like Leolist, a lot of these ladies could use quite a bit of help in marketing themselves.

Great idea - I'm in Marketing with a background in design, and can't emphasize enough the importance of good pics. I do some part time photography, mostly just for myself, and pics taken in decent lighting with a nice camera definitely make all the difference in the world with whatever you're selling, and likely 10 fold given what you ladies are selling is largely a fantasy. More SP need to have and update their pic portfolio. Not that I'm a professional, but I'm likely pretty easy to convince to help out if you're ever in PEI. 😉

great essay People in general need to get over the idea that what they want doesn't have to extend to everyone else. If someone feels this industry is not for them, they should look elsewhere for a career. If a man or woman either likes this line of work, or feels that the benefits out weight the distaste, then here's a viable option. There are plenty of jobs we do and the reality is, most people wouldn't do their job without the pay. Why is this treated so differently? There's no logical reasons, just fear and prejudice.

Charlottetown could so use one of these. 🙂
