There are some good hotels in the south side of the city (Fort Garry area). Airport has many good new hotels but is saturated with SPs and is a bit of a long drive for pooners living in the south. Also consider a condo in the Corydon area (no hotels there, but a pleasant area) St Boniface is pleasant, is just off the downtown, has one OK hotel, the Norwood. But condo is best, especially north of Provencher Blvd.
