  1. Making my first post in a while (I think). :) Been a crazy few or so months.
  2. It's a problem with their CSS on the New Brunswick sub-domain they're using. It' been this way for a few days now. Definitely not a user/browser problem. :)
  3. It's been a busy, and somewhat difficult, summer with many personal things going on. But, it is what it is. :) That said, even though I relaxed for the most part this past weekend, a rainy day like today feels like the perfect time to kick back and spend sometime here, Twitter, and all my other online haunts, all with some good coffee. So, I guess my entire day will be the highlight. ;)
  4. Lounging in blue boxers as I have a coffee.
  5. Honestly? Just knowing I can relax and have a quiet day. I had a death of a close family member last week. So, a lot of travelling back and forth between cities to assist, and then the shootings here. Today, there's nothing on my plate. And, I'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. :)
  6. I'll be out of the game until things settle down and we all TRULY know how things are working. However, if the law goes through as is-- and it behaves as the wording would have us believe-- then, I'll be out.
  7. If anyone is interested, a regimental funeral will be held this Tuesday at the Moncton Coliseum: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/nb/news-nouvelles/releases-communiques/14-06-07-163717-eng.htm
  8. What a tragic situation here. Simply no words. Things like this aren't supposed to happen here, so I think everyone (myself included) are pretty emotional. I was supposed to travel again today to Saint John for family business, but for obvious reasons I'm staying put. Waiting for a press conference that's starting soon.
  9. Whoa...I'm way late (haven't been online much). Anyway...Happy birthday!!!
  10. Today (and the last few), crossing off a number of things on my To Do list that have been lingering for well over a year. I'm on a freakin' roll now....
  11. Deleted: my post wasn't in context.
  12. Guys, I explained my mindset when I made that "joke" (having my car keyed in the past). Let's just agree that it was most certainly not my best joke, move on, and keep the thread on topic. :) Thanks....
  13. When I made that "joke" (and yes, I'm using the term loosely), I was thinking back a few years ago when I caught a couple drunk teens doing that to my car one night. I don't get mad often, but I did that night. Grabbed them both as they started to run and pinned them to the car. Scared them enough that they stood right where I put them while I called the police...lol. Turns out my car wasn't the only one they had "fun" with. Anyway...some kids are just....
  14. And, you apparently didn't catch the satirical nature of the comment. :)
  15. LMAO...not what I meant!!
  16. I'm game! ohhh...and let's all scratch the cars with our keys and than run away! That. Would. Be. Aweeeeeesome!
  17. Ya just can't leave us hanging like that! :censored:
  18. She's a member here: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/member.php?u=91397 And advertises on BP as well. There's a few recommendations for her in the reco section, if you're interested in having a look.
  19. I think I've said this before--and I shouldn't find it amusing-- but when I think Savannah Lane, "gamer" isn't something that comes to mind. I chuckle...but, probably shouldn't! lol Anyway, these days I'll typically only play simple time-killer games: Angry Birds and crap like that. I've tried many of the big online (and console) games over the years, but always lose interest. The last one I put anytime into was Star Wars: The Old Republic...and, lost interest. lol
  20. It's most likely (99.9%) NOT a virus. Instead, it's an app you've installed throwing up "advertising" attempting to scare you into a purchase. Try to remember when you first started seeing this and what app(s) you may have installed around that time. Then, uninstall the app. Should fix it...
  21. Realizing that I've finally "grown up" and don't give a flying f__k what people think of the choices I've made and will continue to make. It's liberating.
  22. Yes. Exactly. And, as said already, there are few who will resemble their photos exactly when met. That's the nature of photos. So, I would never hold a woman up to whatever preconceived notion of her appearance I may get from a photo. Unless the photo was taken by one of the few masters in the game, there's a lot about the lady that just won't be captured.
  23. I mentioned this in another thread a week or so ago, but... I recently experienced a CBJ for this first time in a couple of decades and it was great. Felt just as good... to me. Realizing that everyone is going to be different with their likes, I think it's important to remember that sex is still very much all about what goes on in that grey matter between the ears. So, depending on the two people involved, the experience can be mind-blowing....covered or not.
  24. I agree. :) But, my point was that whether it's safe or not to post regularly is irrelevant. If someone perceives a threat to their privacy (and the fear of letting something "slip" would be enough), then that's what matters. Like I said, it's just the nature of the average hobbyist's mindset. In my opinion, anyway. Regardless, thanks for adding your recommendations and such! :)
  25. In the few months I've been active here, I've seen a fair amount of NB users pop in to ask the odd question, but they're not active on the boards otherwise. The issue then, is how to get them to become active? Honestly, I don't believe there is anything that can be done. As someone said, the reasons for not posting are many and I doubt one can be convinced to do otherwise once they've decided not to. It's the nature of the "hobby": a careful walk along the line between light and shadow. A small portion of hobbyists don't mind stepping into the light a little to participate. The majority of them, though, will always choose to remain in the shadows. And when you factor in our smaller population, it's not much of a surprise to me that things aren't hoppin' in here. So, yeah, I'd love more active users (and providers) here, but I just don't think it will ever happen to a large degree.
