Made any Good Movies....
Warped88 replied to Ice4fun's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Nope. Not yet. But, I'm just polishing up a script. Ladies? You'll be getting a PM shortly. ;) (Seriously, I'd love to do this at least once with someone, at some point.) EDIT: Of course, I was assuming "That" kind of movie. If not, well kick me out of this thread and carry on... -
Yep, I absolutely agree. While not screaming yet, my body is certainly talking to me. I do have plans within the next few weeks, actually, to get back to my "way" of a few years, or so, ago. I ate pretty well then and still indulged within reason. Oh: Good luck...Own it!

Dude, Where's My Car? (NO idea why I thought of that one...)

I'm both. Some days, one; some days, the other. Overall, though, I have pretty poor diet. There are days when I grab whatever I can whenever I can grab it. That doesn't lead to healthy choices. And, then I have the days when I don't eat anything until late at night just before bed. Externally, I'm not showing too many signs of a poor diet, but I sure as hell can feel it sometimes.

My order of preference for contacting a lady would be: 1) Email 2) Text 3) Carrier Pigeon 4) Phone I only put (3) there to point out how much I had speaking on the phone. Even my family knows that and will only email me. If it's urgent then, of course, phone. But, I'm a lot like RG here: I'm not a NOW guy, I'm thinking in advance. I prefer a little contact to get to know someone just a little better. Even a few sentences can go a long way in making an impression. Not really a fan of texting, either, except for quick info and such. All that said, if I want to meet someone, I'll do what they wish.

No, It's one of the books that's on my list, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Strangely, it's never held a lot of interest for me for some reason, even though I love LoTR.

Looking out my window and not being able see past the edge of my patio only feet in front me. Complete white-out. Winter...be gone!

Sorry for the bump, but... I just started a Twitter account for my CERB life. I've followed a bunch of people from here to get started. If you so desire, my Twitter name is: @Warped88Cerb No need to follow me as who knows how often I'll tweet. If I get hooked, though, my wonkiness could really come out and could get annoying. Just, you know, a friendly warning. :D

I re-watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in anticipation of watching the next. Yes, it's good; but, not great. I was expecting that, though, as Lord of The Rings (book and movie) is fantastic. These are the type of movies I love. I just want to be entertained and escape. If I want to take deeper meanings from them, I can; If I want to ignore those and just enjoy, I can.

NB posters? Where are you?

I had an incredible moment of clarity this morning. Despite many years together, I now know, from the truest depths of my heart, that I just can't continue on with my snow blower. The countless hours spent together these past months have shown me that we are not well matched companions, but only two who pretend. It is time to move on. South, maybe. -
While not a bad day, the highlight was its end. I'm exhausted. I've just sat down, so I'm relaxing right now for a few minutes, then off to bed.

I listened to a CBC Radio investigative report not too long ago. They were interviewing a worker (disguised voice etc) in Halifax and discussing backpage, craig's list etc. She stated that "almost" always, if the posted age is 18-19, her age will be younger. I always pass those ads by. Even without ever hearing the above, I would anyway.

What would you change?

Well, I'd like to be in better shape. I have a bit of a "beer" belly (And I call "BS" as I rarely have a beer) now and would like to lose that. And, I'd probably get a different nose. That said, I'm comfortable with the way I look now, so no real worries. :) -
Visiting Moncton mid April

Of the ladies mentioned here, I've only seen Jordan (twice), so I can certainly recommend her without hesitation. Meaghan and Miss Manda have great reps and are on my "Just-Gotta-Love" list. ;) Looking through the recommendation section here, and on BP, will give you a couple more possibilities, I think. -

Hah! Cute! At least you're laughing the crazies off. :) With my sense of humour, you're lucky I'm not pulling out my phone and texting you. lol -

Mornin' NB folks. ;) Hope everyone had a good weekend. Me? I had a busy one (and a busy week). I wasn't planning on it, but today ends up being a day to recharge my batteries. Much needed. May this Monday treat you well. :D -

International Happiness Day
Warped88 replied to Ice4fun's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
It's simple things like these in life (a thread in an online forum this time) that can give you pause and force a reminder of what makes you happy and what's important. This is something I find I need to do on a regular basis when I start to put too much emphasis on all the "crap" we all deal with on a daily basis. If I had seen the thread yesterday morning, I probably would have listed a few things. By the afternoon, though, I was in a foul mood. lol. Anyway, as I get older, it's the simple things I enjoy. Peace, quiet, solitude. The crazy antics of my dogs. A good movie. A good meal. Friends. Family. And so on. I have a feeling that when my time is done, and I look back, there will be few major events that had any long lasting contributions to my enjoyment of life. And if there are, they'll be short lived. So, I'll enjoy the simple things that are available to me every day. :) -
Heavy rain and +2 here, at the moment. That's better than heavy snow and/or -30. :)

WhooHoo! What a long, long winter. I think, yes, I see light at the end of tunnel. :)
