I am sorry to hear that and I understand your frustration. But Unfortunately there is only that much you can do about it. It is impossible to discern if someone is cancelling because of a genuine reason or not. Some really good ideas have already been mentioned. I would recommend the following:- - Repeat offenders or last minute cancellations: after two or more last minute cancellation or reschedule, Just stop booking them. if they don't respect your time, they don't deserve it. - 24 hour cancellation notice policy where applicable, otherwise a small "cancellation fee" gets added to your next time. Now you can be a little lax with your regular clients vs new clients. But I would let you decide that. But this is the nature of any service providing profession. Don't take it too hard and like cristycurves mentioned look at the good times :)
