Etiquette Question - Tipping
johnybird replied to Incognito's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
So far, with the ladies I've seen, I have never had an issue with them fitting me in whenever I wanted, they usually have been available the times I requested. And the dates have just gotten better and better the more I see them. I can't imagine the dates getting any better than they are at this point with the women I see regularly. If the chemistry is there and you genuinely respect her and the 2 of you have some sort of connection, I would imagine she would prefer to see you over someone that she didn't have the same connection or chemistry with just because they tipped better. I would rather bring her a gift (which I have done in the past) that I know she would like and appreciate based on our past conversations together, and take the effort to actually think of something and go out of my way to get it for her because I genuinely want too, not because I think I will get a better date out of it. I don't find anything wrong with tipping, it just feels impersonal to me. Now if I knew somehow that the woman I was going to see expects or prefers tips then without a doubt I would tip her, but if she really has no preference or doesn't expect it, I would rather bring her something a bit more personal and thought out. I'm just basing this on my limited experience, I could be totally off on my way of thinking. -
Non-Digital of course! Ben & Jerry's or Häagen-Dazs?

Humour - why it's important

Good luck to you bcguy42 :) No matter how difficult it may get, never stop laughing. It's part of your treatment. Laughing is so much better than crying. Nothing wrong with crying occasionally either, it just makes more room for the laughter that's all. ;) -
feeling the burn :)

Having blueberries instead of the Häagen-Dazs that's in the freezer... I could have sworn I heard it calling for me... -
When vacuuming the pool, I decided to go down a few steps into the water to get a better reach, forgetting that I had put my iPhone in my bathing suit pocket...It's dead :( ... and no backup since July 2014.

A trim and an old school shave :)

A trim and an old school shave (around the beard)... There is something about having a hot towel wrapped around your face and then someone shaving you with a straight razor that is sooooo relaxing. :) Feels kinda Gangsta too lol!

Having Oatmeal with fresh strawberries while being disappointed that it's too cold outside to have it on the deck. -

A question for the men about clothing
johnybird replied to MickeyG's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I think that would come down to the personal taste of the person seeing you. I would rather you wear what makes you feel the most attractive and sexy at the time. If it were up to the 2 options you described I prefer the professional look, always loved a girl with her hair up and glasses :) but that would go for any age just not just mature (I don't consider 30s-40s mature btw maybe because i'm in that age group :P). That being said if someone dressed younger it wouldn't bother me either. I don't think it's a deal breaker. My way of thinking is whatever you wear, it's all good as long as you feel attractive and sexy in it. One lovely lady I see regularly would always greet me in Lingerie, then on our last date she asked me if i wanted her to wear anything special and I told her whatever made her feel comfortable. She greeted me with Jeans and a nice blouse and I found she looked beautiful, it's what she felt best in at the time. Like Lady Sophia said, it will radiate and it does :) -
I agree with Amber & Nicolette, I had made the mistake of not communicating certain things with the first lady I ever saw, It just made explaining the whole situation when I just met them a bit awkward and made me not as relaxed as I could have been. She was so wonderful and sweet about it  After that first time, when booking with someone new, I would let them know ahead of time and they were always so understanding and I would receive nothing but supportive and positive messages back from them. Luckily my issues seem to have resolved itself, I chalk it up to nerves mostly. As long as you are being respectful, you're doing it right.;)

I've always liked the minimal approach for any season :) Always found the natural look so sweet & beautiful. Mind you, it doesn't bother me if she has full on makeup either. I'm spending time with her because I enjoy her company, not because of the amount of makeup she has on, well unless she has so much on she looks like the joker. That would be a bit too distracting ;) Either way, full or bare, women are still my favourite! <3
