I think rescheduling the appointment very quickly shows good faith. It's hard to do that if you are traveling and not going to be in the city again for some time. I usually, where possible, try to book again for a longer time. If I book for my usual time I might tip half the value of the missed session. Of course much depends on what sort of relationship you have with the service provider. Are you a regular customer or not. It's always unfortunate when you have to cancel on someone the very first time you're going to see them. It's happened to me a couple of times. Once I got stuck in a 4 hour traffic jam on the 401 going into Toronto, another time I was sick. I got on a plane feeling fine, got off with a fever and the flu. Needless to say the appointment I had booked for that night wasn't really viable anymore. I've felt badly each time. Generally, I think that openness and transparency are really good practices. I really appreciate it when an SPs website sets out clearly their cancellation policy. That way everyone is clear on what is to be expected and there is less chance of bad feelings. Porthos

I believe you only need 5 posts to get that status lifted. Just go to the general discussion areas and participate a bit. You already have two posts. This is a community, and people are generally very friendly and welcoming. In this forum, however, people seem very hesitant to share and discuss.

I had the pleasure of seeing Emily on her most recent visit to St. john's. I had read her recommendations and she lived up to all of my expectations. Emily is a beautiful woman, with a superb body. All of that is complemented by a delightful personality. We had a great time chatting and getting to know each other. She is bright, intelligent, with a great sense of humor. In the bedroom she is a sex kitten in the classic, Bridget Bardot sense of the word. Emily is a total professional, but at the same time exudes a sensuality that is captivating. I love that ... hobbying as a way to mental health and saving health care dollars. I think everyone has different reasons for hobbying ... but I think that trying to find a degree of intimacy, even at a fantasy level, is something that many of us are looking for. Like several others that posted, I tend to look for one or two quality service providers whose company I enjoy, and stick with them. Seeing lots of girls looking for that elusive gem is not my idea of a good time. But that's me ... for others that is part of the excitement of the whole thing.

Wow, what a great post Annessa. There are times in your life that are pivotal moments ... where you can stand up for what you believe to be right and just, or stay safely and quietly seated. There is no necessarily negative judgment in staying seated -- each person needs to make the decision that is right for them, especially about such an important and personal issue. But when someone stands up, they should be applauded and commended. Once again you've shown the tremendous strength of character that many of us on the board have seen time and time again through your posts and in personal conversations. But now you've shown a much bigger world who you are and what you stand for. When you take those sorts of positions, when you stand up for what you believe, you often find you lose friends, but usually you gain new ones. I find the level of discussion very high on this board. Its often insightful, amusing and just fun. And I like superheroines and anime, so its great. The difficulty with the hobby is that it isn't something you can talk about with friends and co-workers, so this community is the substitute for that. I agree completely about strip clubs ... I frequent MPs and SPs, but I always come back to strip clubs. Its where I started in this hobby and there is something about the fantasy and the sexuality of being in a room full of scantily clad gorgeous women that can't be duplicated. And the possibility of sampling numerous offerings is always a plus. Yes, its pricey, but you're paying for a different sort of experience. I was at Barb's a few weeks ago and had some very sensual (although low mileage) dances from Kiki ... gorgeous latin woman (almost looked asian, but had a very spanish accent). definitely playboy material and some of the finest naturals I've seen in a while.
