So, to answer a few of the comments above.. I purposely kept my post a little vague as I was not sure if the Mods would allow it. Yes we are talking about and STI, and as of yet, still waiting for results. It was in a Spa, and during the session in question, I commented on being too close, and she just laughed it off. I will contact the MA directly, but the other issue is how many other clients of hers have been affected without knowing? I will post again once results are back... Hoping for good news.

So, I come to Ottawa a few times for business. I dont have time "or ability" to go for a massage in my home town. So, I truly enjoy coming to Ottawa. Now I have a big, LIFE changing problem. During a great massage, I was offered a body slide, it was great until "too much contact", now I have a "medical issue" that I can guarantee I know from whom and from where. Ethically, do I announce it here to protect any other customers? Do I contact the establishment? Do I contact the MA? I am sick to my stomach about the "total medical ramifications" that I am waiting for results on. I had a few massage for relaxation, always thought they were safe. Any suggestions?

I have seen her quite a few time and just checked the schedule and don't see her name. Has she moved on to a different spa?

Buffy Lee was the best MA in town. Best massage and a nice ending... But she told me she retired last summer, not sure if she is back in the game.

How do we know, as customers of MP, that the attendants are TRULY working because THEY WANT to and are not "forced". The unfortunate truth about this industry does connect it to human trafficking. I have asked many of my MAs if they "enjoy" working there, and do "they" (their bosses) treat them well. Of course, they have always answered yes. How can we be sure that when we visit our favourite MP, that it is NOT part of that world? I could never imagine myself enjoying my massage knowing that the woman that is "taking care of me" has been forced from her home and forced into this line of work. We can't be naive enough to think that this only goes on in other countries... Thoughts?

Ok. That makes more sense. I guess the trick is to find an experience MA, and not a beginner.

My definition of safe has nothing to do with "falling off the table" more along the lines of.... Two naked bodies, rubbing against each other, possibly with bodily fluids being exposed..... You still think it's safe? Not sure how much detail I am allowed /should go into.... But.... If the woman is not wearing anything, and she glides upon the males front, then body parts can come into contact with each other (not necessarily entering but simply contact) thereby if one of the two have a health concern, then both could at the end of the glide, right???( was that vague enough?? Lol)

Well, some of these were harsh. I understood this forum as a safe place to ask questions. In NO way did I attack ALO, I simply stated that the web site was very different and plain compared to all the others. This is a fact! Not an attack. I was sent a PM with the reasons for the site and the lack of pictures that answered my question, but then I read these posts and have to laugh at people that are atacking ME for supposedly attacking someone else. No attack was made on my part, simply trying to figure out if a new spa (that I Heard about on this forum) was worth visiting. Thanks

ok. So, taking what I have heard/read from this forum, I am looking at finding a place I am comfortable visiting for massage. I see some great websites for CMJ, Paradise Spa, etc. then I land on LUNA and the site is basic text, and no pictures of the MAs! What gives? Can anyone tell me why?
