B. Totally depraved and wonderfully twisted. It was really a tough choice because I'm almost a C. in my normal everyday routine. I've done A. often enough (though most people have here, though no one here frowns apon tge stuff I've done). Besides, what I consider a B. might be a lot of people's C. ;) Which would you prefer: Sharing your thoughts in some format for people to see Or Keeping your secrets and opinions safely locked away

Replying to an email. Should have done it sooner but by the time I'm free I'm zonked. Still early right now so time to get it done. -
Faucet nose! Caught a cold and nose just kept leaking all day. Sucks when one of your bosses' office is by the lou and you just want to blow your nose and he's trying to get you to do something.

Unless it's a school zone, I do 10 over the limit. I don't get mad though if someone's following the speed limit and I happen to be behind them. Going 20 or more UNDER the speed limit frustrates me though. Happens quite a bit here. Also someone in the left lane on a multi-lane highway basically staying beside the traffic on the right. If you're not overtaking people on the right, you yourself should be on the right.

After the morning I was having, making it through work without any major incidents. Kind of helps I wasn't at my own work station most of the morning ;)

Waking up, heating up the kettle to make some yummy instant coffee from Malaysia, and instead of adding the hot water to my mug first, adding cold milk. Hello lumpy coffee. I needed a coffee before making my coffee it seems ;) Edit Ok, now I know it's going to be a long day. Messed up my whole morning routine now. When you do things like clockwork and you wake up one morning and you do things all messed up, it's never a good sign.

Getting ready for work (and browsing a bit here while I eat breakfast). Boy do I hate Mondays (or in this case Tuesdays after a long weekend). -

Looking for a good sour cream pancakes recipe. Lost my index card with the recipe I've been using for years now. :( Think I might have found one. Will see how it turns later this morning. -
Doctored up Costco pizza. Added roasted red onions, green peppers, mushrooms and calamata olives to a plain old pepperoni pizza.

Getting ready to go out to a group event. Not really looking forward to it since I suck at social outings, but it has to be done. -
Anyone listen to internet media? What has piqued your interest? Personally, I enjoy listening to the following podcasts: Dan Carlin's Hardcore History - A great show about all kind of events throughout history. Dan does extensive research and quotes various historical sources during his lengthy episodes. It's at the top of my list of must listen to shows. Only downside is the wait between episodes. Common Sense (with Dan Carlin) - Another entertaining show about US politics. I'm not really into the American political scene, but Dan makes it worth a listen. Definitely interesting to listen to some of the crazy antics of the democratic process across the border. Radio Lab - A show with a revolving door of topics, usually with a scientific bend. It's hard to describe, but it most certainly worth a listen.

Swimming in a fresh water lake. Who wants to be in a pool when you can be out enjoying mother nature. Rain or snow (in winter)?

I'm sure you'll get a handle on things Chloë. There are lots of wonderful people here that are more then willing to help you out. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Can't believe it, but I'm off to bed and it's not even 10PM here. Just so drained. Will see what tomorrow brings my way. Night all! -
Bookings via Email?
ogreray replied to shortandsweetxo's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I prefer email as a primary form of communication to arrange a meeting. Putting my thoughts in written form works better for me. I tend to get tongue-tied over the phone, being a shy guy and all. It's not that I would give a call to an SP if that was a requirement of hers, but I know I'll be a pack of nerves. ;) Would also help if I owned a cell phone. Hehe I have no problems with waiting for a reply from someone. I take a methodical approach to making a booking. I do my research and first communicate with a proper greeting and if I have any questions I'll get them out in the open right away. I'm in no rush, and I might be talking about an arrangement months in advance (which I hope comes across clearly in my communication). Although I like a lot of back and forth communication prior to a session (and was spoiled by my first SP, though I really appreciated it, thank you), I've learnt that restraint is best as most SPs don't like excessive chit chat. I don't want to waste someone's time as it's just as valuable as money. -
Etiquette Question - Tipping
ogreray replied to Incognito's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
This thread is definitely worth the read. My first encounter with an SP involved a lot of communication prior to the encounter. We shared a few common interests and I saw something one day in a store that I thought would make a nice gift. By the reaction I witnessed after giving her my gift, it was most certainly appreciated. Really made me happy seeing how happy she was. Of course, I took a risk in giving that gift. You never know if a gift will be appreciated or not till given. And a lot of us guys kind of suck at picking gifts. It's kind of hard to mess up a tip. Best bet is to read a lady's website, see her interests, and if you have a strong enough grasp on those interests, give an appropriate gift. Don't think toys are worth it, unless of course tgey are on a wishlist. If completely unsure, stick to cash. Oh, I forgot to mention the idea of a thank you card. Someone mentioned it and it seems to make perfect sense. -
Tried opening it, but YouTube is telling me the video's not available. Think it's just one of those videos that gets censored now.
