I just finished watching the Bruce Jenner interview with Dianne Sawyer, and I have to say, I have a new found respect for him, coming out to society about transgender! As he spoke, I could relate to his feelings of not being able to "come out", to family and friends, in fear of their reaction, being an SP, I felt the same way, just recently I started posting face pics, which have given me a sense of freedom, just because I am an SP doesn't mean there aren't many more areas to my life, but at the end of the day, for myself I am glad I made that decision! Throughout the interview he discussed feelings of how others would look at him, but he new this is who he is, and society be damned! I learned from his interview, that no matter who or what people see us as, I am still me, and proud to be who I am, so Bruce Jenner I thank you for coming out to the world, you have my highest respect!!

Thank you for the link, this case hits home to me, very much, as my mother passed away of Dimensia, and was in a Manor, the story in itself, to say the least is tragic, Mr. Rayhon is losing his wife, and in one of the most saddest deaths possible, my heart goes out to him. Dimensia has over 200 varieties, and unfortunately the link did not state what stage of the disease she was in, which would have played a huge role in determining if she was scared of having sex, if even that took place, or if she was even in the stage of the disease , that she knew who her husband even was,, the manors and facility's do have rules that do not allow sex in their rooms, which I can understand, pending on wandering patients and medical staff coming and going, I am happy that he was aquitted of the charges, as he did not need the agony of a trial , after losing his wife, even before she passed away, due to the Dimensia, my thoughts are with him, and I do feel from his case, government should look at the need for sexual contact for patients in homes, with their spouse, as long as they are able to do so

Loved this! Truly inspirational and inspiring, as women, we sometimes judge ourselves and are much too hard on us, from appearance to family to day to day activities, we need to Stop that! We need to constantly tell ourselves positive affirmations and surround ourselves with positive people, in the industry and out! It's time we learn we are Enough!

I feel yah Jenny! Cancellations are bad enough, but NO shows are the absolute worse! Very disrespectful, I waited an hour and a half, just today for a client, and that was even after a telephone confirmation! When I finally got ahold of him, he said he got lost, and decided to turn around and go back home! Ironically enough, I had given him Specific directions, and where I reside is maybe a population of 12,000! Excuses Excuses!! So I have now blocked his number! As for my cancellations, I am Thinking of implementing a fee, to add on to our next encounter, many of my clients are regulars, because I do live in a small area town,so I'm Thinking that's the best way to handle them! Oh, I loved your statement about burning the pay check!! Your so right girl,, so right!!! We just have to keep going, and figure out the best way for each of us to handle the cancellations!! My mom was into the late stages of Dimensia in 2007, and subsequently was put into a manor , mom loved it there, our family was very fortunate to have such a loving and caring staff. The times I went to visit mom, I noticed that many of the residents did not have family or friends visiting, and at Christmas time, especially it broke my heart! Mom passed away, in the summer of 2008, every Christmas since then, I make it a point, to buy gifts at random, for the residents that do not receive any, I sign the card " In Memory Of Mom"

I too, am new to the industry, less then a year, when I first started, I was hesitant, nervous, anxious, but within the first week, I knew, this is for ME!
