    So, it's about two weeks until the social. I've started getting prepared. My kitchen is set up: I've hired assistants, but i'm expecting i'll have to find somebody else soon Since i might have to do everything myself And would want to avoid plumes of smoke (should i blame the nanaimo bars?) Any volunteers?? Until then, enjoy until i see all of you (old and new friends) there!!

    It's official, on the ladies side, spots are sold out!! Gents, we have one single ticket that's still up for grabs!! Don't forget, payment before September 8th confirms your spot! What happens after september 8th, you may wonder? I'll be hard at work making goodies for this event - yes, the brownies of old will return (many know them already :-) ) as well as, by special request, some nanaimo bars. I'll also have some handmade gifts prepared, specifically for the ladies. Lastly, food and drinks will be bought with our venue (venue to be confirmed a few days beforehand), as with previous events. Cheers everyone, and i can't wait to see everyone there again! T

    Socials usually start at around 7 pm and keep going until there isn't anyone left (usually 11pm to midnight depending on the night).

    Ticket sales are proceeding nicely, so thank you to those who have been in touch. With Loneskater on vacay, some of you we know already made arrangements to pay cash on his return. For those that want to pay cash but haven't done so yet, send a message to loneskater (you can send it to me as well so it doesn't slip by this week). To those wanting to pay by email money transfer, you can contact me. For those that have done so in the past, nothing's changed, and i check my emails regularly, so you may send it directly. Cheers!

    Hi everyone! For this edition of the social, i'm organizing a smaller, more conservative social. I'm looking at 40 spots; 20 for the ladies, 20 for the gents for a more intimate event. As with previous events, tickets go at 35$ for the gents to go towards drinks and food. As i'm no longer residing in Ottawa, i'll handle payments via email money transfer. My co-organiser Loneskater will handle cash payments. Ladies: If you have posted on the thread or sent me a PM to attend, you can consider your spot secured. Gents: payment of your ticket confirms your spot. I'll post details as they are confirmed, and will reply to PM's promptly.

    Hello everyone!! Seems like ages since i last started a social thread, but here we are - time flies! It's this time of the year where, you know, we get to gather for a great meeting of the minds in Ottawa! So, for all those who have been, you know these events! For those who haven't been, its a great way to make introductions with like minded people (no, no hanky-panky lol). So, without further ado, set your calendar for September 18th, 2014.     Finding an important legal document i need for next week, within minutes of looking among the "mess" of packed things in my appartment in Ottawa. I thought it'd take me more like hours, only to find it in the last place i'd look. It'll give me time to do other things today, like enjoy the weather and some rare hours in town.

    Its nice to see more and more voices from clients.... We are far from being what our current party in power makes us out to be - especially the current Justice minister-. Having read the article quickly, i can relate to many things of what is said here (except the being married part). Because of many clients occupation or position, they may not be able to be open about such things, so i'm kinda glad about seeing more of these coming around.

    Got to love when things fall into place naturally. Finally found a new place to live downtown Montreal close to everything. I'm not expecting to be home much except to sleep.
