  2. Al Pacino Paperback book or Hardcover book?
  3. Hooooo!! I like Nicolette cause ... she is Virgo, like me and emiafish!
  4. Just thought i'd revive this thread ... the Mezzanine bar (very loungy) and the ground floor bar at Hotel W are a must in a visit while in Montreal. Met a good number of interesting people there, the bar staff included.
  5. I recently did a short impromptu visit to Montreal. I ended up staying at Hotel W. The decision did not come easy ..... What sold me for that trip was the Subway entrance right across the street from the hotel, and everything is within walking distance - i literally could be anywhere within just about 15 minutes walking distance or so (the train station is about 10 minutes away - give or take-). Restaurants abound in the area, from classy steak (Houston Grill right on the corner), to fish and chips, and a Five Guys burger joint, and that is not counting all the bistros in the old city and the proximity to the Quartier des spectacles. Hotel W is in an old Bank building, but don't let that fool you: the interior is very design (modern), and service by the staff is exceptional, especially at the bars..... For the time i spent there (less than 24 hours), i could not visit the cupcake shop ( :-( ), the Scandinavian Spa nor visit the galleries quoted by Gabriella.
  6. That is correct IF you use the private booths (the extra 100$ for the booth, i was told, takes the dancer away from stage rotation, or at least postpones it, and you are supposed to get priority service from the bar staff). I'm not sure if they are still there, but they had the private room fees (half and full hour) on the walls of those rooms themselves when i tried it years ago. I agree, with what you are saying, It can be interesting as far as SC go in those aspects. The 300$-only fee for an hour in a regular CR downstairs applies.
  7. I like Touch for his great taste in his choice of pictures!
  8. Katrine Cannon and Jessie Brown have taken formal training. Not sure about any other MA though at the moment.
  9. Daniel Craig Same vein .... Best "Q" Peter Burton (in Dr. No), Desmond Llewelyn, John Cleese, or Ben Whishaw (in Skyfall)
  10. Whomever worked on the costumes for the show that happened today did a great job .... :-) Oh, and of course, the show was stupendously awesome. Seeing one "daytime" brings it a whole different atmosphere. For anyone that has never seen a burlesque show, its worth attending, even for a little bit if you cant attend the whole show.
  11. Yet it's not something i'd quite find when i had cable.... I cant help myself but to crack smile ....
  12. Why need cable TV when we have the interwebs? And Sara!
  13. Why is it that i get to bed late, wake up super early feeling rested, yet i cant do that on a weekday?
  14. Congratulations on your 5000, and on your recovery. It is a monumental number to reach, and CERB would certainly not be the same without you. I for one was (and still am) grateful that you are back here again. It just goes to show how great this community can be!

  16. Hard to pick JUST one, as there isn't a dessert i made that wasn't good .... from cupcakes to cookies. If i had to pick one to share though it would be homemade Brownies (obviously) ..... I like the way you think ... ;-)
  17. Summer, I know you've started this thread with the ladies in mind :-), but, speaking for myself, and simply put, it can bring out the best in people (it certainly does for me), which is, in turn, returned many times over ....
