  1. If you're there, you'll have a care package of baked goodies to take with you ;-) Seriously!
  2. First my Ipod dies on me as i was leaving for work. Got to work, nothing to do at all. All i needed to do was done. When i asked for more work to keep me busy, the Boss gave me a blank stare ..... and basically tells me to ask someone else. Bunch of ..... My new job, find another job. Boredom is my worst enemy...
  3. I like Old Dog for his sense of humour!
  4. Happy birthday! Hope you enjoy your day to the fullest!
  5. Kalua Pool party or beach party?
  6. Irish cheddar infused with Guiness: and a nice Microbrew stout
  7. Congratulations Samantha on reaching this milestone!
  8. After a few weeks of searching, i finally found a set of spring-inspired cookie cutters. They just jumped out of nowhere in the least likely place i'd look for cooking supplies: Loblaws
  9. Cup cake shop, did you say? ;-) I'll certainly look it up (thanks for the links); now that i read your post, i remember hearing the names before, but hadn't thought of it. Edit: I'll certainly look up the spa!
  10. Got to be dipped in chocolate. PEanut butter or Nutella on your toasts?
  11. I'm planning a weekend trip to Montreal. While i know the city well enough, i'm out of touch with the state of Hotels in the city. I'm trying to balance proximity to the "downtown core" (i.e shopping), subways stations (easy enough for me, there is always one nearby), price, and accessibility to parking. I thought i'd ask some input to see if i'm not missing anything. Hotel W and the Nelligan both come highly recommended by locals, but i'd be likely be leaning towards the Nelligan if i had to pick between the two (it came highly recommended, and i know the area). Closer to downtown shopping, I have used the Hyatt many years ago (Jeanne-Mance and St-Catherine), and i believe it has ben renovated recently. I found it's closer to everything if one wants to head out. The other one i am looking at is the Holiday Inn, on Sherbrooke (West) Street, near Bleury. Rates are good, but I have never been. Input or other ideas are welcomed, either on this thread or by PM. Many thanks
  12. Splices can indeed be fun to do heat things up. Many of the dancers i saw checked with the DJ to confirm when they'd be on, so things can work out well that way. Easy to pause the timer then and restart it.
  13. Nuts on the sundae On the topic of chips; "regular type" or kettle chips?
  14. Sarah, at Pigale was a fave of mine. Just shy of 5 feet or so, mideteranean looks, and last time i saw her had dyed her hair blonde. Not sure if she is still around, as i havent been there in ages.
  15. I'll go for the Cigar (never tried scotch .... so i cant say i like it or not). Speaking of great combo, when in good company and sharing a snack, would you prefer : something on the sweet side, or on the savory side?
  16. Jacuzzi Beach : Ocean or Lake (summer time of course)
