1. Milestones: Noun, meaning major dates, events, turning points. NOT the restaurant ... Iâ??ve been a member here for about 3 years (in 3 weeks or so). Things seems to be coming in threes. It dawned on me today that i should be sharing this little story here. An exutoire, i dont know. The word seems strong. But i do know iâ??d like to share 3 of my milestones i have had this month. Let me tell you about them. But first, a little context. Over the past year and a half, i have been removing and adding things from my «list», so to speak. Iâ??ll concentrate on things related to this board. Since i became a member, Iâ??ve tried a few things i would not have tried otherwise. Iâ??ve met great like minded people through posts, and socials. I mentioned I added a few items since the May 2011 social (some who know me well enough on this board might very well remember our discussion at this point). Iâ??ll come to one of them soon. Hopefully, it will all make sense. Now, here we are, my milestones: 1- The event: Iâ??ve recently changed decade earlier this month. I do not feel old. Nor do i think i am. Iâ??ve recently been told by a lady of this board that i dont even remotely look it. Yet, it is a step. And only that. A step. One that you might cringe at and quickly move on, at least that is what i think. A step that got me thinking, even for a short while. I wanted to share the «event», make it somewhat special. Take another step. Cross something off the «list». Which leads me to : 2- The act: «You wanted to try something?», you ask? Definitely. Along the way here on CERB, i met virtually and in real life some great people who, in their own way (an ear to listen, friendly discussions, and some play-time hints and suggestions) reminded me of whom i am. So I tried something new recently. Do not ask what, its not really the point i am trying to make. Of course, of course, it was an enjoyable time!! It is someting i should have done a good long time ago. But it recently hapened. Why is that important? Read on. 3- The note: This post, is the third item (remember i mentioned things coming in threes). To share and to go on. To remind myself to keep being me. Iâ??ve caught up on some recos i had been meaning to post for a while, which in a way led me to this. Something i felt like i needed doing. To share in my journey, so far. And to thank the marvelous people, the ladies first and foremost. The ladies that are, in a sense, a mirror, in which i remember who i am. Life happens too quickly, and it is way too easy to forget about ourselves... who we are. So, essentially, i am taking a few minutes to write this as a big, a great special thank you to the CERB ladies i know, and, of course, have met! Until next time we meet.
2. This note is WAY overdue. I had met Annessa a long while ago at a previous social, and we had a chance then to chitchat. Annessa is very friendly and fun to be be around, can hold up a conversation on about any topic, and of course has great taste. I have had the chance to meet her a few times since. Time does always fly by in her company. I don't have much more to add to what was said already, but i can re-enforce the fact that she is attentive. As we had met a few times beforehand, during our recent last rendez-vous, we arranged to try a few new things (for me at least). Annessa did make sure all went well. I did sleep well ....
3. I like Phaedrus, since he is a pretty cool guy. And an LOL cats thread contributor.
4. Bridgette is great. We'd have to form the Bridgette fan club, me thinks
5. I bumped into Kianna twice before at CERB socials and we had the opportunity to chat a few times. I was quite impressed, Kianna has a smile that could melt an iceberg in minutes. And, of course, she is an extremely friendly and fun woman. This "getting to know each other" phase, of sorts, led us to meet more privatly recently for the first time. There isn't much to add to what's been said, save to say that nothing is complicated with Kianna, and you are more than likely to be infected by her smile, giggle and good company.
6. I'd be remiss not to post this note, although it comes a bit late. I met Amelia back mid-August, after going back and forth trying to determine a date that worked for the both of us. Amelia's place is very well decorated and relaxing. We sat down to chit chat to get to know each other a bit. She is very well spoken and very is very funny. Shower time, then massage time. Amelia is quite talented and i felt relaxed pretty quickly. It was time well spent and would certainly consider visiting her again.
7. I share Georgiana's point of view. Simple is best, i think.
8. OR here in particular for Nova Scotia http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=203
9. Having a fully stocked fridge, freezer and pantry, yet "not finding anything" to eat for breakfast.
10. I'll be making a Tajine inspired stew today, slow cooked, with stewing beef, chicken, merguez sausage and lots of vegetables. I have a great spice mix to use. Nothing better than the smell of Morrocan spices in the air. Homemade ginger and molasses cookies will also be in the making.
11. If you look at the recommendation section there are 2 recos on the first 2 pages, Here http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=78814 And here. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=86156 and also here: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=103965 It should get you started.
12. Not sure if this was published before ....
13. Jane, mentioned above, advertises as a top. She posted an ad this a.m.
14. Out of curiosity, has anybody seen Jenna recently? Shortish blonde, with a unicorn tattoo on her lower back? Haven't been to Pigale on a week day (daytime or evening) in several months. She used to work days, mostly until 6 pm or so.
15. Chat is back and in working order! Thanks to MOD for his efforts!
