With all this talk of beer, i stopped earlier at Broue-Ha-Ha earlier today. For those who know Gatineau, it is on St-Rene west. They have a great selection of Microbrews, along with imported beers. I've just tried "Aphrodisiaque", a nice stout with coco and vanilla undertones. Trying just now a blueberry beer. Interesting taste....

I do not drink much beer anymore (i now prefer wine as it is not as "filling"), but i have a few favorites (and there are many!!). In "commercially" (in a bar, for example) available beers , Guiness is always a default choice for me. Big Rock's Grasshopper (a wheat ale) was a fave of mine at one point. Summer time, though, i tend to get "L'ephemere" -either Apple or Cassis-, which is a white, light beer, tasty and perfect for warm days. Of course, what better way to enjoy a beer than at a brewpub, enjoying their beer on the patio, and bringing back a few bottles if you can ???

So far, i limit my online shopping to iTunes for music. Beats having to buy one complete cd for a single song ... or try to find the unusual band at those big brand stores. Boy, do i miss record runner on rideau street !!!!

My day is now complete! ;-)

The challenge seems to accepted, and successfully so .... the challenge would be to add the coffee ....

I'm not sure having an attendant to stop certain activities is the main objective, as my understanding was to give a certain feel to the club (i.e. trying to make it classier) as perfume is also offered - they have the main commercial brands available - Fridays and saturdays are usually the most popular nights, hence having an attendant there. Disturbing or weird, personally i do not think so, but that's me.

Pigale has a bathroom attendant on friday and saturday nights (cant remember if the attendant is there on thursdays), and i've seen one for the past year and a half at least.

A bottle of good red wine .... cabernet-merlot ....

My two last visits to Pigales in the last few weeks included some time with Lesley, a tall blonde from Montreal who dances there regularly, as well as Brianna (a brunette), both i had seen several months ago up close and personal in the CR's. Both very friendly and approachable, good sense of humor, as well as great conversationalists. It was a meeting of old friends .... Both meetings were great reminders of who can tease whom (as they reminded me, they should be the ones teasing me - and they did- but it is fun to return the favor, within the boundaries of a club of course ) ... rediscovering these soft, "ticklish spots" all over was, well, you know, interesting.... But all things must have an end, too bad it wasn't an eternity ... To my next visit there ....

What is new on the SC front these days ???

There is always something nice about baking for, or cooking with, someone, and sharing what was prepared. Aside from the obvious sustenance it provides, there is something interesting when a recipe turns out great .... the smiles, the eyes rolling, the memories food can bring to the surface, the endorphins being released ... Ah .... i'll just keep on hanging around the kitchen .... :-)

Isabella, either they should be in one of your albums, or on a website. Posting pictures work with url's (the full website path to a picture). If on a website, just copy and paste the picture url.... Unless there is another way ... I hope this helps....
