I've stopped at Barb's after work, being in the neiborhood and thirsty. The place was quiet (it wasn't quite 5 when i got there). I saw two or three regular dancers - Jessie, i think, petite brunette, an asian dancer (i don't remember her name though) i had seen dance on stage before. Although i was getting ready to leave, Loanna came by. I never had the opportunity to see her since i am not a Barb's regular. We chatted a bit before spending some time in the CR. She is a lovely and beautiful woman, fun to chat with.

I have no idea, actually. Havent seen her in a bit myself.

There are 2 that kind of fit that general description on top of my head, neither look indian or portuguese, nor having brown skin (more like olive/tan). One is of lebanese descent, the other of tunisian descent. Both are about 5 feet or so, either Maya or Sarah. Both french speakers. Both great.

No, no, i just tried to summarise a french article the best i could... I found this article (it discusses a recent legal decision) as it seems to put boundaries around what should (or shouldnt) happen in a club.

Havent been to either at lunch, but i suspect that even to its closer proximity to government buildings, emplyees may be hesitant to go at lunch, as the fax is on the market (being more of a tourist area), it brings more people at lunch? Just a theory. That reminds me of stories being told about the old Lido (aka Phase V) being packed with government workers at lunch.

While replying to a thread, i found the following (in french, from Quebec's legal information society) and thought it may be of interest. http://soquij.qc.ca/fr/ressources-pour-tous/articles/les-danses-contacts-divertissement-ou-acte-de-prostitution To summarise, the article deals with the legal issues surrounding "contact dances" (i.e. in the CR), in defining if it is considered "entertainment" or an "act of indecency or prostitution committed in a bawdy house". This started in a municipal court to end up last june with a Quebec Appeal Court decision. The initial accusations contained the notion of being within a "common bawdy house". As I understand it, "indecency" (indecent acts) and "prostitution" are not well defined, if at all, on a legal standpoint, and it is left to interpretation according to what is acceptable socially. In any case, according to the decision, being in a strip club is not illegal in itself unless "sexual gratification" happens, leading to the application of article 197 (1) (the bawdy house disposition) of the criminal code. It's an interesting read for those who read french.

Agreed. I don't think your paranoid, and boundaries gets pushed or restricted all the time, and yes, it can be more than tempting to push them in the heat of the moment.... It's a complicated issue hat moves through time. The recent Ontario decision still needs to go in front of the Supreme Court as i understand that the Crown is currently preparing submissions for an appeal in front of the Supreme Court. In any case, even if the decision stays, that does not guarantee that club owners will want to change their business model (i.e. they may want to keep operating a strip club only), or even how it would be regulated locally (i.e. like any other business, having a business permit). I just found a recent article (published in september 2010) relating to this topic. The distinction mentioned in the following article makes the distinction between "entertainment" and "prostitution". Such as it is, SCs are there for entertainment, and i do go there to be entertained. Hi Charlotte. CR is the acronym being used for Champagne Room. As for mileage, i do not know the Montreal clubs personally (although i hear good things from many of them), but it is debatable on how it is defined and i agree man and woman will have different (1) objectives and (2) experiences. It'd be interesting. I agree with spike, information sources must be credible. It would be a good starting point, keeping in mind that any diagnosis and treatment should be left to health professionals.

Thank you Cato and Nightflight for your comments concerning the article i posted. I thought it would be of interest to the community, and it was of particular interest to the thread, especially where FS is concerned. High or low mileage is relative and a matter of personal opinion, chemistry, and dancer, which i agree will differ from person to person in this community (which is why you asked after all...). I've experienced what I consider High and Low mileage in different clubs in the area and even within the same club. To cite Joeblow earlier in this thread "I have been with dancers that were considered by most as low-mileage, but they were willing to strech their boundaries with me because of good chemistry" and Megan : ""High mileage" is more of a dancer-specific thing than a club-specific thing, from my experience. Ie. I didn't become a high-mileage girl when I went to Bare Fax, nor did I tone down the mileage when I went back to Nu Den. Girls change clubs all the time and their dances seem to stay the same." As with anywhere, YMMV and all we can do is recommend, which does not mean everything will be the same for everyone.

I hadn't known she was of russian descent. I spent time with her in both places (mainly at Pigales spring and early summer), but until recently, stars weren't in their proper alignment. I seem to remember her being tanned as well at one point. Hadn't had this long a chat (last one was over lunch at pig) with her until today. It was nice to chat it up for a while since she could, the club being quiet.

She uses Jenna as stage name at Pigale as well (she may have used a different name at one point, but i always knew her under that one at both places). She works weekdays daytime at Pigs ( not sure which days) and taboo every so often on saturday. Addendum: Taboo was quiet when i was there at 4. Very few patrons, less dancers to be seen, or so it seemed.

With the beautiful weather today, i took a little stroll that took me to Taboo, where the day was brightened by a lady that goes by the name of Jenna. I had met Jenna a while ago, and have been bumping into each other at Pigale, where she also works. I have to agree, a babe and a honey...

Has anybody been to the Pink recently? I havent been since July.

400 for the hour (300 for the dancer and 100 for the club). Half hour is around 225 or 250 i think (room fee is around 50 or 75 if memory serves). If your in there, you can peek on the left hand side of the room there is a plate detailing it a little above eye level. Manager comes by at the end of the alloted time. Not sure u can use it just to drink though, and certainly not past 6 oclock i think. Best to ask if its just for that purpose.
